Abstract

Hydroponics as NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) system is one of the mechanism planting with additional water until 3 mm from roots. In hydroponic system, the anorganic biofertilizer that contained in the media is a major nutrition for plant. Hydroponic system depends on anorganic material as nutrients supply. The use of biofertilizer was expected to reduce the dosage of anorganic fertilizer that applied in hydroponic system. The aims of the research were to find the best combination dosageof biofertilizer and anorganic biofertilizer on the population of Azotobacter, and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). The experiment used randomized block design (RBD) which consisted of four combination that is anorganic fertilizer (100%, 75%, and 50%) + 100% biofertilizer 150 mL. The result showed that the combination of 100% biofertilizer and 50% anorganic fertilizer can reduce the use of anorganic fertilizer up to 50%, and can increase the population of Azotobacter, and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.).

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian  Morfologi Serangga Pada Tanaman Kelapa (Cocos nucifera L.) Di Desa Tabala Jaya Kecamatan Karang Agung Ilir Kabupaten Banyuasin”  dilaksanakan pada Maret sampai April 2020. Tujuan penelitian mengkaji morfologi serangga pada tanaman  kelapa. Penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan tiga metode penangkapan insecting net, fitfall trap, light trap. Parameter pengamatan meliputi tipe kepala, alat mulut, tungkai, antena serta sayap. Hasil penelitian di peroleh 135 serangga dari 5 ordo, 9 familia, 9 spesies. Jenis serangga yang ditemukan yaitu Oryctes rhinoceros, Orthetrum sp., Neurothemis sp., Gryllus mitratus, Pheropsophus occipitalis, Oecophylla smaragdina, Xylocopa sp., Valanga sp.,  Junonia sp., serangga yang di kumpulkan memiliki tipe morfologi yang yang berbeda.                                                                                                                    Kata kunci : Tanaman Kelapa (Cocos nucifera L.), Serangga, Tipe MorfologiABSTRACTInsect Morphology Research on Coconut Plants (Cocos nucifera L.) in Tabala Jaya Village, Karang Agung Ilir Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency "was conducted in March to April 2020. The research objective was to study the morphology of insects on coconut plants. The study used a purposive sampling method with three methods of catching insecting net, fitfall trap, light trap. Observation parameters included the type of head, mouth instrument, legs, antennae and wings. The results of the study obtained 135 insects from 5 orders, 9 families, 9 species. The types of insects found were Oryctes rhinoceros, Orthetrum sp., Neurothemis sp., Gryllus mitratus, Pheropsophus occipitalis, Oecophylla smaragdina, Xylocopa sp., Valanga sp., Junonia sp., Insects collected had different morphological types.Keywords: Coconut Plants (Cocos nucifera L.) ,Insect, Morphological type

Abstract

Penelitian tentang pengaruh ekstrak alang-alang terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) telah dilaksanakan di Desa Bina Amarta pada bulan Maret sampai bulan Juni 2020, bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh esktrak alang-alang terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.). Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan.Dosis ekstrak alang-alang yang digunakan adalah P0 (tanpa ekstrak alang-alang/kontrol), P1 (5gram ekstrak dalam 1 liter air), P2 (10 gram ekstrak dalam 1 liter air), P3 (15 gram ekstrak dalam 1 liter air), P4 (20 gram esktrak dalam 1 liter air), dan P5 (25 gram ekstrak dalam 1 liter air). Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman (cm), diameter batang (cm), dan jumlah daun (helai). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak alang-alang berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan diameter batang tanaman cabai rawit. Meskipun memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan cabai rawit, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan terbaik untuk tinggi tanaman adalah pada P0 menghasilkan rata-rata tinggi 13 cm, untuk jumlah daun perlakuan terbaik pada P0 dan P2  dengan nilai rata-rata 7,25 helai. Untuk diameter batang terbaik adalah P2 yang menghasilkan nilai rata-rata diameter batang 0,62 cm. Kata Kunci : Cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.), ekstrak, alang-alang (Imperata cilindricaL.).

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is about liquid organic fertilizer made from papaya (Carica papaya L.). The aim is to study the proper dosage of liquid fertilizer for caisim mustard (Brassica juncea L.) which is carried out in April to May 2020 in the yard in Surya Adi Village, Mesuji District, OKI Regency, South Sumatra Province. This research uses a completely randomized design method (CRD), namely the administration of liquid papaya fruit fertilizer consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications, namely P0 (without liquid organic fertilizer, as a control), P1 (150ml liquid organic fertilizer), P2 (200ml organic fertilizer liquid), P3 (250ml liquid organic fertilizer), P4 (300ml liquid organic fertilizer). The results showed that the response of Caisim mustard growth to the application of liquid papaya organic fertilizer in P3 treatment (250 ml liquid organic fertilizer) produced the highest average value of 39.6 cm, 15 leaves and 15.6 grams , while the lowest average value is the P0 treatment (without the provision of liquid organic fertilizer / control) that is equal to 34.5 cm, the number of leaves is 10.6 strands, and the wet weight is 85.2 gr. Keywords: Dosage, Mustard Caisim, Papaya Fruit Liquid Organic Fertilizer   ABSTRAKPenelitian ini tentang pupuk organik cair berbahan baku buah pepaya (Carica papaya L.). tujuan untuk mengkaji pemberian dosis pupuk cair yang tepat terhadap tanaman sawi caisim (Brassica juncea L.) yang dilakukan pada bulan April hingga Mei 2020 di lahan pekarangan di Desa Surya Adi, Kecamatan Mesuji, Kabupaten OKI, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yaitu pemberian pupuk organik cair buah pepaya yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan yaitu P0 (tanpa pupuk organik cair, sebagai kontrol), P1 (150ml pupuk organik cair), P2 (200ml pupuk organik cair), P3 (250ml pupuk organik cair), P4 (300ml pupuk organik cair). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respons pertumbuhan tanaman sawi caisim terhadap pemberian pupuk organik cair buah pepaya pada perlakuan P3 (250 ml pupuk organik cair) menghasilkan nilai rata-rata tertinggi sebesar 39,6 cm, jumlah daun  15 helai dan berat basah tanaman  144,6 gr, sedangkan nilai rata – rata terendah terdapat pada perlakuan P0 (tanpa pemberian pupuk organik cair/kontrol) yaitu sebesar 34,5 cm, jumlah daun 10,6 helai, dan berat basah  85,2 gr.Kata kunci : Dosis, Sawi Caisim, Pupuk Organik Cair Buah Pepaya

Abstract

ABSTRACTResearch on the Characteristics and Descriptions of the Order of Passeriformes has been carried out on Jalan Seniman Amri Yahya Jakabaring, Palembang South Sumatara The research aims to determine the Familia, Genus, and Species of the Order Paseriformes and How the Characteristics and Descriptions of the Passeriformes Order on Jalan Seniman Amri Yahya Jakabaring Palembang, South Sumatra. The study was conducted in March-April 2020. Observations were made in the morning (06.00 - 09.00 WIB) and afternoon (15.00 - 18.00 WIB). The method used is the point count method modified from Yustian et al., (2017). Observations were made by observing birds in the form of bird morphology, locomotor (in the form of legs and wings) and bird's head as well as colors. Every bird that was observed was taken the picture. Identified with the 2010 Mackinnon Field Guide book. The results of the study were obtained by the Order of Passeriformes with 7 families of 10 Genera and 14 Species. Characteristics Morphological features include relatively short foot shape with anisodactyl toe type, ie three fingers facing forward and one finger facing back. The puppies of birds in this order are altricial, that is, they are helpless when they hatch (blind, without feathers, and rarely move). The birds of this order include birds chirping have a beautiful voice.Keywords: Aves, Description of aves, Characteristics of aves, OrderPasseriformes. ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan Penelitian  Karakteristik dan Deskripsi Ordo Passeriformes di jalan Seniman Amri Yahya Jakabaring Palembang  Sumatara Selatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mentukan  Familia, Genus, dan Spesies dari Ordo Paseriformes dan Bagaimana Karakteristik dan Deskripsi Ordo Passeriformes di Jalan Seniman Amri Yahya Jakabaring Palembang  Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian  di lakukan  bulan Maret-April 2020. Pengamatan dilakukan Pada pagi (Pukul 06.00 – 09.00 WIB) dan sore (Pukul 15.00 – 18.00 WIB). Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode titik hitung (point count) yang di modifikasi dari Yustian et al., (2017). Pengamatan dilakukan dengan mengamati burung yang hingap berupa morfologi burung, alat gerak (berupa kaki, dan sayap) dan kepala burung juga warna. Setiap burung yang diamati diambil gambarnya. Di Identifikasi dengan buku   Panduan lapangan Mackinnon 2010. Hasil penelitian di dapat Ordo Passeriformes dengan  7 familia  10 Genus dan 14 Spesies.  Karakteritik Ciri morfologinya diantaranya bentuk kaki yang relatif pendek dengan tipe jari kaki anisodactyl, yakni tiga jari menghadap ke depan dan satu jari menghadap ke belakang. Anakan burung pada ordo ini bersifat altricial, yakni tidak berdaya ketika menetas (buta, tanpa bulu, dan jarang bergerak), Burung-burung dari ordo ini meliputi burung pengicau memiliki suara yang indah. Kata kunci :Aves, Deskripsi aves, Karakteritik aves, Ordo Passeriformes.
