Abstract

Research that examines the morphological characteristics of medicinal plants in Prabujaya Village, Prabumulih City has been carried out from April 2022 to May 2022. This study uses a survey method. Direct retrieval explores the area of Prabujaya Village, East Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City. Sampling was done by direct observation, by looking at the list of Indonesian medicinal plants and the results of direct interviews with the community. The results of the study found that there were medicinal plants from the Spermatophyta divisio, consisting of 2 classes, 12 orders, 12 families, 18 genera and 18 species. The root morphology type (Radix) has taproot and fibrous root. The stem morphology (Caulis) is in the form of pseudo stem, woody stem, wet stem and grass stem. Leaf morphology (Folium) is lanceolate (lanceolatus), elongated (oblongus), ovoid (ovatus), ribbon (ligulatus) and oblong (ovalis). Flower morphology (FLOs) includes single interest, compound interest bunches, compound interest, grain compound interest, pseudo compound interest, umbrella compound interest, strand compound interest. Fruit morphology (Fructus) includes true fruit types of buni fruit, citrus fruit, kendaga fruit, compound stone fruit, dry single true fruit, compound true fruit, and pseudo true fruit. The parts of the organs used as medicine are leaves, rhizomes, roots, stems, flowers, and fruit.

Abstract

Indonesia is a rich country in sources of medicinal plants that can be easily obtained. the belimbing wuluh through the fermentation to turn the raw material into a classic enzyme. the purpose of this research are to make classic enzyme and hand sanitizer from belimbing wuluh, identify the lactic acid bacteria(BAL) from the fermentation of classic enzim belimbing wuluh, and to know the effectiveness of handsanitizer belimbing wuluh. The implementations of the research are preparation of raw materials, to make classic enzyme with anaerobic fermentation method, and laboratory analysis of organoleptic and microbiology tests. The results of the reseach are classic enzim and hand sanitizer products, the identification of lactic acid bacteria (BAL), and the effectiveness of hand sanitizer.from this research, it is known that the process of making the classic enzyme is done by fermentation for three months or 90 days with the composition 1:3:10. The results of this research are the lactic acid bacteria (BAL) is not identified. it because of pH 1,96 and the liquid has been convered into alcohol, the effectiveness of handsanitizer is quite good depend on morphology and ALT tests. The number of colonies formed on sampel after applied hand sanitizer was not found.

Abstract

Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT) examination is an examination to determine the presence of disturbances in liver function. The SGPT enzyme is often used as an enzyme screening of basic parameter for a diagnosis and follow-up of disorders liver function. The types of specimens were used for SGPT examinations were serum, plasma heparin ora EDTA, and this study used serum samples. This study aimsto determine whether there are differences between the examination of SGPT levels which are immediately examined of postponed for 24 hours and 48 hours. This research is a cross sectional research with Posttest Only Control Group Design. This research was conducted at the Palembang Health Laboratory Center (BBLK) of South Sumatra Province on 28-30 December 2021 with the respondents of Diploma Medical Laboratory Technology Students level 2 and 3 with 30 samples. The results showed that the average SGPT level which immediately checked was 0.14, the average SGPT level delayed 24 hours was 0.13 and the SGPT level delayed 48 hours was 0.11. the results of the Two Way ANOVA test showed p value < 0,05, so it can be concluded that there was a change in the level of SGPT which immediately examined by being delayed for 24 hours and 48 hours at roon temperature

Abstract

This research was conducted at the FST Workshop at PGRI Palembang University. The time of the study starts from May to June 2021. This type of research is an experimental study using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications, so there are 25 treatment units. The treatments consisted of: (P0) with a dose of 0 ml, (P1) with a dose of 100 ml of rice/plant washing water, (P2) with a dose of 200 ml of rice/plant washing water, (P3) with a dose of 300 ml of rice washing water. /plant, and (P4) with a dose of 400 ml of rice washing water/plant. The variables observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, and wet weight of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The results showed that the rice washing water treatment on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) did not have a significant effect on increasing the number of leaves of mustard greens, but had a significant effect on the growth of plant height and wet weight of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) .).

Abstract

Research on the Order of Diptera on Melon Plant (Cucumis melo L.) was conducted in April - May 2022.”The purpose of the study was to examine the interest of insects in melon plants to various colors in the agrotorism of the Kenten Laut melon garden. This study uses a purposive sampling method, namely by color traps using 4 colors, namely, yellow, green, blue, and red. Observation parameters include the number of insects contained in each trap, color and type of head, mouth apparatus, limbs, antennae, and wings. The results obtained 70 insects fromthe order Diptera. The types of insects found were, Bactrocera dorsalis., Lucilia sp.,”Hermetia illucens, Musca domestica., the insects collected had different morphological types.

Abstract

The Sungkai plant has become a trending topic lately because of its benefits, which are believed by some people to be used in preventing the transmission of the COVID-19 virus by boiling some of its leaves using water. The purpose of this research was to examine the active ingredients contained in sungkai leaves (Peronema canescens Jacks) which were extracted by infundation (water solvent) and extracted by maceration (methanol solvent). The method used in this study is a qualitative chemical analysis. Phytochemical screening in this study, namely the alkaloid test (using Mayer, Wagner, and Dragendroff reagents), flavonoid test, tannin test, saponin test, steroid test, terpenoid test. Based on the results of the study, the results of the phytochemical screening of the methanol extract of sungkai leaves by maceration showed that all of the active compounds contained were positive, while the positive infundament extract contained flavonoids, steroids, terpenoids, tannins, saponins, but negative alkaloids.
