Abstract

Employees of the Sidoarjo Regency Health Office have a great responsibility in developing and improving health, especially in Sidoarjo Regency but the location of the Sidoarjo Regency Health Office is less strategic because it is located in the center of the traffic crowd which has an impact on employee performance. This study aims to analyze the noise of the work environment on the productivity of the performance of the employees of the Sidoarjo Regency Health Office. This research was observational analytic type. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling, as many as 30 people. The instruments of this research were questionnaire and sound level meter. Data analysis techniques include editing, coding, data entry, and conducting univariate and bivariate analysis techniques.The results of this study are: the majority of Sidoarjo Health Office employees experience high noise with an average noise intensity of 71.01 dBA; most employees of the Sidoarjo Health Office (56.7%) had good work productivity; and there is an influence of environmental noise on employee performance productivity Sidoarjo Health Office with a pvalue of 0.020 <0.05. To improve employee productivity, employees of the Sidoarjo Health Office are expected to submit noise complaints to the leaders of the Sidoarjo Health Office so that they can be addressed immediately and arrange sitting positions while working away from sources of noise and the Health Office is expected to be able to monitor the noise levels of the workspace of employees and immediately make efforts to reduce employee room noise.

Abstract

Malnutrition is a malnourishment condition resulting from the imbalance of micro nutrient an macro nutrien. Parental diet can help create problems related to the nutritional status of toddlers. Giving the child a right opportunity to consume food does not assure the toddler to be free of his nutritional statis. That’s why researches are interested in studying the effectof a diet for twelfth-twenty fourth months old of child’snutritional status. The sample design of this study is taken for sixty nine respondents, data gathering on the foster diet variabel diet question naire and variable data nutritional status with anthropo metric mesures. The collected data was analyzed using cross table analysis. Cross table analysis showsthat there is a linkbetween the foster diet and thet welfth-twenty fourth months old of child’s nutritional status, and the diet of democratic food has the highest impact on the nutritional status of the toodler twelfth-twenty fourth months old of child’s nutritional status at the medical center of Pademawu, Pamekasan. The study found that there is a nurturing pattern of eating under the child’s twelfth-twenty fourth months old of child’s nutritional status by the most dominan foster pattern is the democratic upbringing in the workplace of the medical center of Pademawu, Pamekasan.

Abstract

Sanitation is an effort to prevent disease and environmental risk factors that become a chain of disease transmission. Ship sanitation applies to all types of ships both passenger ships and goods from within and outside the country. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors related to the sanitary conditions of passenger ships at the Port of Tanjung Perak Surabaya, in 2019. The type of this research is correlational analytic with cross sectional design. The population is all passenger ships that dock at the port of Tanjung Perak Surabaya, with a total sample of 49 samples. The sampling method is by questionnaire and direct interview with respondents. Statistical tests using the Chi-Square Test. The results showed the average passenger ship leaning at the Port of Tanjung Perak Surabaya had a low risk sanitation level of 83.67% and a high level of risk of 16.33%. The relationship between the skipper's leadership style (pvalue = 0,0001), knowledge (pvalue 0.047), leaning time (pvalue = 0,0001), maintenance funds (pvalue = 0,0001), facilities and infrastructure (pvalue = 0,0001) with the level of health risks of the ship. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the sanitary conditions of the ship and the leadership style of the skipper, the level of knowledge of the crew, the time of the ship berth, maintenance funds, facilities and infrastructure. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between the sanitary conditions of the ship and the leadership style of the skipper, the level of knowledge of the crew, the time the ship rests, maintenance funds, facilities and infrastructure. Passenger ships are expected to have good Standard Operating Procedures and are applied in maintaining vessel cleanliness.

Abstract

Lead is one of the very dangerous heavy metals that can pollute the environment. Sidoarjo Regency is an industrial area in East Java which has several factories, some of which do not process industrial waste properly. This untreated waste is made directly into the water so that it pollutes the water so that it serves the biota in the water, one of which is mussel. This research aims to determine the effect of boiling in an effort to reduce lead levels in Kupang. This research was conducted by taking samples of Kupang in Balongdowo village, Candi Sidoarjo District. This research was included in an experiment to reduce mercury content with boiling time of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes and 60 minutes. The analyzed results are presented in tabular and graphical form. The results showed a decrease in lead levels at a boiling time of 30 minutes by 0.8886 mg / L with the difference reaching a decrease of 0.211 and a boiling time of 45 minutes can decrease by 0, 8211 mg / L with a difference of a decrease of 0.0675. This means that there is an effect of boiling in an effort to reduce lead levels in Kupang.

Abstract

The increase in the number of traffic accident cases in Sidoarjo Regency in 2016 there were 1177 traffic accident cases, and an increase of 18.6% which in 2017 there were 1446 traffic accident cases. Whereas in 2018, there were 1518 cases of traffic accidents resulting in an increase of 4.74%. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between health checks on bus drivers and the level of traffic accidents in Sidoarjo Regency in 2019 This study was an observational analytic study with a cross sectional study design with a total of 77 bus drivers in the Bungurasih Terminal. The results of the study based on the characteristics of the bus driver are the majority of male sex as many as 76 people (98.7%) and most are 41-50 years old as many as 34 people (44.2%). Based on statistical results the bus driver accident rate was influenced by variables of health examination results including blood pressure with Pvalue = 0,000, blood glucose variable with Pvalue = 0.023, while the results of respiratory alcohol and urine amphetamine tests on all bus drivers had negative results, so the value obtained constant and cannot be analyzed statistically. The conclusion of the study is the variable examination of pressure and examination of blood glucose while having a significant relationship with the level of traffic accidents in Sidoarjo Regency in 2019.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is globally classified as a global public health Emergency. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. East Java is ranked 2nd after West Java in TB case finding and Sidoarjo Regency is a District with the 3rd CDR achievement in East Java. The magnitude of public health problems due to Tuberculosis so that WHO provides an ultimatum with global warnings, in the Millennium Development Goals agreement aimed at freeing the world from Tuberculosis by 2050 clean and healthy life. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how much influence the healthy home and clean and healthy living behavior on transmission and contracting TB disease. In this study using multivariate analysis by means of multiple linear regression test with a sample of 388 families where the method of sampling by means of Probability sampling is a sampling technique that provides equal opportunities for each element (member) of the population to be selected as sample members. The method of taking with simple random sampling is a technique to get samples that are directly carried out on the sampling unit [1], analysis with the Multiple Linear Regression test by looking at the coefficient of determination (Ajusted) and the value of the beta regression (β). Tests carried out using a significant level <0.05% or 5%. The results of this study from households whose homes did not meet health requirements were found to be as much as 18.0% which in one year there were family members suffering from tuberculosis and in households that did not apply Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) there were 18.8% in 1 year there are family members who suffer from tuberculosis.

Abstract

Elderly or Elderly is a group that due to age, physiological function of the body decreases due to the aging process so that non-communicable diseases get older and more diseases will appear in the elderly, and due to degenerative impairment occurs the body so it is susceptible to infectious diseases . Based on Riskesdas (2013), the most common diseases in the elderly are non-communicable diseases or PTM, namely Hypertension of 45.9% at age 55-64 years and 63.8% at age 75 years above. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between regularity of taking drugs with hypertension. This type of research is correlation analytic research with observational observational and retrospective approaches. The study population is all elderly with hypertension in Karang Werda Sejahtera Kelurahan Bendul Merisi Surabaya, sample size 24, sampling with total sampling. Hypertension variable data collection is done by observing measurements and compliance variables using the MMAS-8 questionnaire or Morisky Medication Adherence Scale, spearmen correlation test data analysis with α = 0 , 05 . The results obtained 1) there is a relationship between adherence to take antihypertensive medication with Hypertension with ρ = 0.010, 2) there is a relationship between knowledge of taking antihypertensive medication with Hypertension with ρ = 0.012, 3) There is a relationship between motivation to take antihypertensive medication with Hypertension with ρ = 0.012. Maintaining medication compliance is important to reduce morbidity and mortality in the elderly .

The development of the industrial era 4.0 made various changes in community activities.One of them is theuse of Gadgeteveryday that when it had become a necessity. Use of the wise tentunyaakan bring the impact that good and helpful. But otherwise Especially again when it the people of old let children use gadgets without supervision. According to a study at the Chinese Academy of Science, it turns out that addiction to gadgets and the internet can change a person's brain structure. Brain development in children during their infancy needs attention. Given the high intensity of use of gadgets in almost most major activity of children. It is an impact on the production of the hormone dopamine, which exaggerated disrupt maturation function of the prefrontal cortex that controls emotions, control themselves, bear responsibility, decision -making and the values of moral others. Addiction to gadgets can cause interference pemusat attention and hyperactivity .

Abstract

The increasing population of the elderly in the community cannot be separated from the health problems they experience. Various problems related to the decline in physical condition in the elderly will lead to various degenerative diseases . F. Degenerati disease f in elderly if not handled properly will decrease the quality of their lives so that it can increase morbidity and mortality. Various diseases degenerati f the most widely experienced by the elderly, among others, joint disorders, hypertension, mental and emotional disorders, heart disease, cataracts, stroke, and diabetes mellitus. Diabetes afflicts many Indonesians. Every year it gets bigger in number, and this can be disastrous. Diabetes is a very dangerous disease. If not treated properly, it will cause various complications that can make people suffer and can even cause death. Complications can include nerve damage, impaired blood circulation, kidney problems, heart problems, high blood pressure, and so on. The number of diabetics in Southeast Asia is Singapore 12.8%, Thailand 8%, Malaysia 16.6%, and in Indonesia 6.2% (IDF 2015). If in 2015 it is at number seven as a country with the highest number of diabetes patients in the world, in 2040 it is estimated that Indonesia will rise to number six. Blood type is a key to the entire immune system, and an essential explanatory factor in a person's health profile. Blood group antigen creates antibodies. Several studies on blood groups have shown that certain blood groups have a risk of certain problems or diseases related to the interaction of miscroscopic substances on the surface of red blood cells interacting with the immune system . Blood type cannot be changed, but knowing the effect of blood group on the incidence of diabetes mellitus allows for proper preventive action

Abstract

Pre-school age children are a time when children need adequate nutrition for children's growth and development. This is just the opposite of eating behavior in children. At that age, parents often experience difficulties in feeding. A son has been able to choose the type of meal 's what you want to consume or often (picky eating) where children can refuse to eat given, mealtime be long until more than 30 minutes, or the child will only eat certain food-only. One of the efforts to overcome the problem of picky eating in children is to apply parenting in every child's life. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between parenting style and picky eating behaviorin pre-school age children at TK Bahtera Mojokerto. Researchers used a correlation design with a sample size of 60 parent respondents. The instruments used were the parenting style questionnaire and the picky eating behavior questionnaire which was adapted from previous research. The results of the study using the k chi square statistical test showed a p-value of 0.001, which means that there is a relationship between parenting styles and picky eating behavior in pre-school children. The hope is that by implementing proper parenting styles from an early age, it can make children's eating habits become regular and in accordance with the Nutritional Adequacy Rate needed by preschoolers
