Abstract

This resear chaim stop rovidean overview of Community Based Tourism (CBT) management in the Sihonongan Tourism Village, Parangnan District, Humbang Hasundutan District. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data wascollected through in-depth interviews with CBT managers and local communities, as well asfield observations. The results showed that CBT management in Sihonongan Tourism Villagewas carried out in a participatory manner by involving the community in decision-making.CBT managers and the community work together to develop tourism products based on culture and the natural surroundings. Infrastructure development is carriedout by considering environmental and social impacts and involving local workers. Promotion and marketing are carried out by utilizing social media and collaboration networks with travelagents. CBT financial management is carried out transparently by involving thecommunity in fund management and profit sharing. Training and development of humanresources are carried out regularly to improve the quality of services and management of thetourism business. However, there are still several challenges faced in managing CBT in Sihonongan Tourism Village, such as infrastructure problems that still need to be improved,a lack of public understanding of the tourism business, and the need to improve promotion andmarketing. The conclusion is that CBT management in the Sihonongan Tourism Village iscarried out in a participatory manner by involving the community in the decision-making andmanagement of the tourism business. Development of cultural and natural-based tourismproducts, promotion, and marketing through social media, transparent financial management,and human resource training and development are some of the things being done to enhance CBT development. Challenges still exist, but with cooperation between CBT managers and local communities, they can be over come to achieve the goal of sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

Abstrak Pelaksanaan prosedur adalah rangkaian tindakan atau kegiatan yang dilakukan sesuai dengan urutan langkah-langkah yang telah ditetapkan dalam suatu prosedur. Pelaksanaan prosedur bertujuan untuk memastikan bahwa suatu tindakan atau kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan cara yang tepat, efektif, efisien, dan konsisten untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan. Untuk mendapatkan data yang lebih akurat penulis melakukan peninjauan secara langsung ke objek yang akan diteliti dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif yaitu dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara langsung kepada receptionist yang berjumlah sebanyak 8 orang. Tujuan penulis melakukan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kemajuan dan perkembangan ilmu pariwisata khususnya di bidang perhotelan, dan dapat memberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman langsung di lapangan bagi penulis dan juga menjadi bahan referensi bagi pembaca yang ingin melakukan penelitian sejenis. Adapun kesimpulan yang di dapat bahwa pihak hotel masih kurang melaksanakan prosedur dengan benar sesuai dengan standard operation prosedure (SOP) dan pelaksanaan prosedur tamu check in terkadang masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga terkadang terlupa buat mengupdate di sistem reception. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product innovation, price perception on the Purchasing Decision Process at Food Stalls in the Lake Lau Kawar Tourism Village, Naman Teran District, Karo Regency. The characteristics of the sample are explained by quantitative methods, and the research results are exhibited with tables, graphs, and narratives. The research sample consisted of one hundred participants who were purposively selected. Data was obtained through a questionnaire containing questions relating to the respondent's profile. The results and conclusions of the study indicate that the independent variables of product innovation, price perception, and location are 37.1% responsible for the dependent variable of the purchasing decision process. The adjusted coefficient of determination, or (R2), is 0.371. While the last 62.9% is covered by additional variables not included in this model. Where purchasing decisions at food and beverage stalls in the Lake Lau Kawar tourist village, Karo Regency are influenced by product innovation, price perceptions, and location.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the marketing strategy of Kota Pari Tourism Village in Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Respondents were selected by purposive sampling method and consisted of tourism village managers, local entrepreneurs and tourists. The results of the study show that the marketing strategy of Pari City Tourism Village includes the use of social media, cooperation with local entrepreneurs, participation in promotional events, and good management of tourist destinations. In addition, this research also shows that factors such as cleanliness, safety, and comfort are very important in attracting tourists. This research makes an important contribution to the development of Kota Pari Tourism Village and can be a reference for managers of other tourist villages in designing effective marketing strategies

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Tourism Awareness Groups (POKDARWIS) in developing tourism potential in Kampung Tahu Village, Dolok Masihul District, Serdang Bedagai District. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results showed that POKDARWIS has an important role in developing tourism potential in Kampung Tahu Village. POKDARWIS carries out various activities to develop tourism potential, such as promoting existing tourist objects, fostering and training the community as tour guides, and collaborating with related parties. In addition, POKDARWIS also plays a role in preserving the culture and environment around tourist objects. Through the activities carried out, POKDARWIS is able to increase the number of tourist visits and provide economic benefits for the local community. However, there are also several obstacles faced by POKDARWIS in developing tourism potential, such as a lack of support from the government and a lack of adequate tourism support facilities. Therefore, POKDARWIS needs support from related parties to continue to develop tourism potential in Kampung Tahu Village.

Abstract

This study aims to compile patterns of tourist trips in Tipang Tourism Village, Baktiraja District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and direct observation. The selected respondents were tourists who had visited Tipang Tourism Village, homestay owners, and local people who were involved in tourism management. The results of the study show that Tipang Tourism Village has considerable tourism potential, especially in terms of natural and cultural tourism. Based on the results of interviews and observations, the pattern of tourist trips in Tipang Tourism Village can be structured as follows: tourists begin by visiting natural attractions such as waterfalls and tea gardens, then continue to cultural attractions such as traditional houses and places of worship, and end with activities culinary and shopping in traditional markets. The preparation of this travel pattern can be a reference for tourism managers in Tipang Tourism Village to improve existing tourism infrastructure and facilities, as well as improve the quality of service to tourists. In addition, the results of this study can also be used as a reference for other researchers who are interested in developing tourism in similar areas.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and analyze effective strategies in increasing room occupancy rates in homestays located in Raya Tourism Village, Berastagi District, Karo Regency. This village has great potential in the tourism industry, but the occupancy rate of homestay rooms has not reached its maximum potential. Therefore, this study adopted a qualitative approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of this study reveal that there are several strategies that can increase room occupancy rates in homestays in Raya Tourism Village. First, environmental sustainability must be improved, including waste management, natural resources, and environmental hygiene. Second, more intensive and targeted promotion is needed to increase tourists' awareness of homestays in Desa Wisata Raya. Third, quality service and personalization of the guest experience can be key factors in retaining and attracting return tourists. Fourth, collaboration between homestay owners, local government, and other relevant parties can strengthen the tourism infrastructure in the village. In this context, this study provides an in-depth insight into the strategies that can be applied to increase room occupancy rates at homestays in Desa Wisata Raya. These results can be a valuable guide for homestay owners, local government, and other stakeholders in tourism development in the region. In addition, this study also contributes to the qualitative research literature in the context of tourism and tourist village development.

Abstract

Instagram social media is a social networking site like a web-based service that allows anyone to build a public profile within a limited system. Social media not only includes a variety of new media platforms but also combines several other social media systems such as Facebook, Tik-Tok, Twitter and others. Tourism object is an object which means shape and tourism which means facilities related to that shape, which can attract visitors or tourists to come to the object. This type of research is Qualitative research, in this writing, those who have been determined as subjects/informants of writing are 7 (seven) people. The data collection techniques used are field research, documentation, interviews, observation. The obstacles faced in increasing tourist visits using social media are the lack of creativity of human resources at the tourist attraction. And also there is still a lack of photo spots for tourists at Culinary Tourism Objects. Efforts to overcome the obstacles faced by culinary tourism objects in increasing visits to culinary tourism objects through Instagram social media are to improve promotional media, provide guidance or training to workers to provide better service and create a unique feature of the object.
