Abstract

This study examines the development of cooperatives in reducing poverty and the impact on the regional economy over the past 10 years. The results obtained that the development of cooperative business volumes show a significant decrease in poverty rate and contribute to the increasing GDP.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and forecast macroeconomic achievements for the next five years, covering four main macroeconomic indicators, namely economic growth, inflation, poverty and unemployment. The methodology used includes estimating the Autoregresive moving average (Arima) model, elasticity approach, central tendency, and landscape analysis. The results of the study concluded that: 1) Maluku's economy in the next five years is estimated to experience a slight increase with an average economic growth of 6.4 percent; 2) In line with the increase in economic activity inflation is also predicted to increase proportionally at an average of 3.1 percent for Ambon inflation, and 3.9 percent for Tual inflation; 3) Unemployment is predicted to decline with an average decline of 0.3 percent annually, while the poverty rate is also predicted to decline with an average decline of 0.6 percent per year. The implication of this finding is that optimistic expectations for Maluku's future economic outlook should be able to be responded to through more progressive, effective and efficient APBD policies, as well as increasing the synergy of valid and uniform data-based programs, both across sectors and across districts / cities.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of product factors, price factors, promotion factors, people and service process factors on consumer purchasing decisions in choosing Smile Link 88 products at PT. Sinarmas Life Insurance MSIG life Ambon Branch. This research is empirical research, with the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The analysis used is multiple regression analysis with the least squares equation and hypothesis testing using t-statistics to test the coefficient of partial regression and F-statistics to influence the effect together with a confidence level of 5%.The results of the granting show that, in terms of product factor have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions in choosing Smile Link 88 products, the price factor has a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions in choosing Smile Link 88, promotion factors have a significant effect on Consumer purchasing decisions in choosing Smile Link 88 products, people factors have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions in choosing Smile Link 88 products and service process factors (process) have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions in choosing Smile Link 88 products at PT Life Insurance SinarmasMSIG life Ambon Branch.

Abstract

This research to analyzing determinants investment in West Papua Province. Using error correction model (ECM), which determinants variables are gross domestic regional product, human development index, labor and road infrastructure in good and moderate conditions, data used are secondary one, period 2006-2017. Result shows that in short run and the long run gross domestic regional product, labor and road infrastructure variable are significant at 5 percent level affecting investment. Human development index in the short run and long run not significant affecting investment.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the role of social capital as an effort to develop UMKM in Batu Merah Village, Ambon City. Home industry is an attractive business sector to note, not only is its development and distribution so rapid but also the dynamics that occur in the industry. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The selection of informants in this study was carried out by purposive sampling technique, which is the retrieval of data from informants who have been criticized beforehand. The criteria are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises UMKM in the area. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation. The results of this study state that social norms have several functions, among others, as a tool to minimize the possibility of behavioral irregularities in trade, to regulate trade transactions, to help traders get trust from other parties, maintain togetherness and maintain good relations between individuals.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the impact of the 2017 Village Fund policy on infrastructure development and community empowerment in Passo Village, Ambon City. The Village Fund Policy is determined by the government through Government Regulation No. 60 of 2014 concerning Village Funds sourced from the State Budget and Expenditure. This policy is intended to create a strong, advanced, independent and democratic village so that the role and potential of the village must be empowered. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, the authors will approach the object of research by digging information in accordance with the perceptions of the author and the informant and can develop according to the interactions that occur in the interview process. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation. The results of this study state that the Village Fund Program Policy (DD) in Baguala District of Ambon City runs quite well, this can be seen from the Village Fund program activities in accordance with the preparation in the form of a list of proposed activity plans, implementation of each activity, evaluation of activities until the formulation of accountability , and the economy of the people in Baguala Subdistrict increased after the Village Fund program. This is due to the increase in infrastructure in the form of agricultural roads, so that access to transportation from the plantation location is easier, thus accelerating the process of selling agricultural products. Based on the conclusions from the results of the research stated above, suggestions can be given which will be expected to be able to improve or improve the implementation of the Village Fund program in Baguala District, Ambon City in the future.
