Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior of children aged 5-6 years. Researchers used quantitative research. The research sample was taken using a saturated sample of 25 children aged 5-6 years in Ra Maarif Watas. Data collection ini this study was conducted by observation and documentation. The data was proceed Spearman rank correlation analysis. The result showed that there was a relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior in children. This is evident from rcalculate 0.771> rtable 0.396 Ha is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior of children with strong category.

Abstract

This study aims to introduce the concept of mathematics for children aged 5-6 years with fun educational media, namely the pinned board. Pinboard is one of the learning media that is used by pinning. The introduction of mathematics in kindergarten is still fairly low because it only learns concepts and number symbols, addition, and subtraction. Therefore, the readiness of preschool children in understanding mathematical concepts must still be given further stimulation by using various interesting and easy media. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative method with an observation data collection process. The results of this study explain that the introduction of mathematical concepts with the semat board media in children aged 5-6 years at the State Kindergarten Pembina Serang City is quite good, because the children in the kindergarten can already mention the number symbols, triangular, circular and square shapes and can also count the number of shapes contained on the pinned board. The subjects in this observation were 5 children, where there were 2 children who had difficulty in doing this, therefore the researcher tried to make creative media and not that in order to support the math learning process.

Abstract

Mathematics is the science of numbers, the relationship between numbers, and the operational procedures used in solving problems concerning numbers. Mathematics comes from the Latin word mathematica, which was originally taken from the Greek word mathematic, which means "relating to learning". This word has the root word mathema which means knowledge, science. Mathematics is concerned with structured ideas whose relationships are arranged logically. This means that mathematics is very abstract. That is with regard to abstract concepts and deductive reasoning. Mathematics learning in early childhood is given in stages beginning with counting objects or experiences of real events experienced by children in everyday life and based on children's observations. The introduction of mathematical concepts for children is to use simple language, so that children can easily understand what has been conveyed by the teacher. The introduction of early childhood mathematics is adjusted to the level of children's mental development and when children learn to count, in teaching children to learn to count, it can be started with simple things such as: recognizing numbers when blowing out birthday candles, counting the amount of food they will eat. , counting fruit in the fridge, counting by listening to songs, counting when wearing shoes, counting through toys, through apps, and through movies. This journal uses a literature review research method approach or literature study, which contains theories relevant to research problems. The results showed that learning mathematics using existing media in the children's environment made it easier for children to learn to count and children become more interested in learning mathematics.

Abstract

From the results of initial observations it is known that the receptive language skills of Group A children in Raudhatul Atfhal Miftahul Ulum Jatisari are still not developed. This is because the ability to read is still lacking. Lack of language in children causes children to be less active in telling stories, in terms of answering a question correctly when asked, and also not being able to retell a story that has been heard. Therefore, research was carried out by applying the media of picture story books to increase children's enthusiasm for reading and storytelling skills in children. In this study, the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method was used with a total of 15 students in group A, of which 6 male students and 9 female students. By using picture story media (bigbook) in improving the ability to tell stories in children. The results of the study state that bigbook media is very effective in learning in early childhood, and can improve children's storytelling skills.

Abstract

Abstract Every child has their own way of solving simple problems in using objects in their daily lives. Children are able to use an object based on its function, and recognize various colors. Children's cognitive development can be developed from an early age in various ways. One of them is through the media. Learning media can be used to stimulate aspects of children's cognitive development. Media guess the color of the image is a medium that is used to develop cognitive aspects. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were group B children aged 5-6 years at TK IT Abatatsa Pasuruan. The results of research using guessing color media show that this media can improve cognitive abilities in early childhood. When children play media, children can solve problems by differentiating the colors of the images. So that learning while playing through the media is more fun and further enhances aspects of child development. After using the media, children's cognitive development increased with very good development results obtained by 85%, namely 15 children. Developing according to expectations of 15%, namely 3 children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using finger puppet media on children's self-confidence, and how the results of applying finger puppet media can increase children's self-confidence. The research results in the first cycle increased by 70.3%, and in the second cycle it increased again by 88.9%. From observations made by researchers, it is evident that finger puppet media can increase children's self-confidence. This type of research is classroom action research. Confidence is a measure of how much courage a person has to appear in public, answer questions, and have fun together in activities. Finger puppets are a type of learning media that are played using fingers. Based on preliminary observations conducted by researchers on KB Qur'ani 'Aisyiyah II children, it was found that 60% of them had low self-esteem problems. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation.

Abstract

RA Insan Cendekia Jatisari Permai's observation of children's development revealed that there were problems in arithmetic operations, meaning that most children still had difficulties in performing subtraction operations. Most of the children were still confused about the ability to count, so the results of the activities were below the maximum number of 10 students, only 7 children were able to complete the task without the help of the teacher. The type of research used by researchers is descriptive-qualitative, namely described what the researchers did during the observation. The aim of the observation was to see how math skills used loose media in early childhood RA Insan Scholar Taman Jatisari Permai. This research was conducted qualitatively through observation and interviews with class X children. Based on the above studies, early childhood learning will be fun by using real objects with 7 components made of loose materials. Irtoosamedia's aim is to make children more creative. The results of RA Insan Scholar's research show that 7 out of 10 children experience improvement in basic mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of Macromedia Flash in developing English vocabulary in children at Bhakti Bunda Koto Tangah Padang Kindergarten. The research sample consisted of 20 children, of which 10 were control class samples and 10 experimental class samples. The method used is quantitative with a quashi experiment approach. Data processing uses the help of SPSS 25.0 for windows. In this study the data collection techniques used were action tests and documentation. The results of the study show that Macromedia Flash can increase English vocabulary in children. Judging from the experimental class that uses Macromedia flash get higher scores than the control class that uses powerpoint tools. In obtaining the influence test, the value of d = 0.9 is classified as moderate, thus Macromedia Flash is significantly effective for increasing English vocabulary in children.

Abstract

This study describes several external policies of RA Al-Amin in order to improve the quality of education at RA Al-Amin. The type of research in this paper is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used by way of interviews and also various sources both from relevant books and journals. The results of this study indicate that the external policies set by RA Al-Amin consist of: (1) Prayer reading assistance, intending to educate the character of students to obey and obey Allah SWT through prayer, (2) Application of cooperation between parents and teachers in learning prayer readings for children, the application of this policy is expected to make it easier for children to memorize prayer readings, (3) Implementation of practice, getting children to pray correctly which is done together. (4) Repetition, parents have the duty to repeat the lessons that their children have learned at school. As for the inhibiting factors of this policy are external factors where both parents are busy working, as well as the community environment.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the importance of teaching algebraic content and algebraic thinking skills for early childhood and how the learning strategies are at the early childhood education level. The research method uses library research to understand learning algebraic content and algebraic thinking for early childhood. The results obtained in this study include the application of learning mathematics for children through various creative activities and introducing the concept of arithmetic and geometric concepts. Both of these concepts in teaching early childhood are introduced to several objects in the environment around them so that these mathematical concepts can be understood and understood more deeply by early childhood.
