Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and obstacles BAZNAS district / city in West Sumatra in the management of zakat. The research design used is descriptive qualitative. Sources of research data consisted of district / municipality BAZNAS administrators, provincial BAZNAS administrators, local government authorities, and related documents. Data were collected through interview and documentation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results show that the strength of BAZNAS districts in West Sumatera is the commitment of management, management autonomy, UPZ formation, continuous socialization, volunteer zakat, zakat fund transparency and program innovation. The weakness of the BAZNAS is insufficient SDM, double positions, lack of muzaki and mustahik databases, the role of UPZ is not optimal yet, the collection is still focused on Zakah on the profession of civil servants, the distribution of consumptive zakat is still dominant, and infrastructure facilities are inadequate. BAZNAS's opportunities are regional regulation, enormous zakat potential, cooperation with religious organizations, public trust, increased civil servant salary / allowances and rapidly growing information technology. The obstacles faced by BAZNAS are the area of work of BAZNAS is very broad, operational budget is minimal, rejection from some scholars and community leaders, direct distribution of zakat, and involvement of others in socialization is still lacking.

Abstract

This paper will elaborate the idea and the effort of Busthanul Arifin in the process of formalizing Islamic Law into an Indonesian national law. The heritage of colonial law has hindered the agenda of Islamization of law in Indonesia mostly by the negative reaction of the ruler. This fact consequence to an uneasy relation between Islam and Political ruler as it is shown along the Indonesian independent era. In this ’war of interest’, most of the time Indonesian Muslim should subjugate their interest. Learned from this trouble relation of Islam and political power in the early of independent era, Bustanul Arifin shoud be marked for his effort to melt the tension and tries to persuade the Indonesian new order ruler in order to obtain and fulfill the aspiration of Muslim people.

Abstract

This paper demonstrates how the Islamic education has been used to reflect social problems in the region. The paper argues that decadency and the use of drugs and other social problems has enabled the regional governments to engage in Islamic education. The paper suggests that the involvement was driven by the capacity to reduce fears of social problems in the society. It also argues that the other mechanism to solve social problems are overlooked as the paper presents availability of jobs concerning at customers’ satisfaction would overcome social problems.

Abstract

This paper aims to internalize the character of the Caliph Umar bin Abdul Aziz as the leader of Muslims and its influence on the government of Dawlah Bani Umayyah, and to describe the wisdom of Umar ibn 'Abd al' Aziz in the field of religion, economy and social society. In this paper will be discussed about the Character 'Umar as the leader of Muslims related to religious matters, related to economic issues, and related to social issues. The research that the authors carried out was literature research, which relates to Karater Umar ibn 'Abd al' Aziz as the leader of Muslims and its influence on the Dawlah Bani Umayyah government in Historical reviews. The method that writer use in research is by approach of content analysis (content rate, that is research which is deep discussion to content of written or printed information either in book form or other with qualitative approach). The results show that the character of 'Umar ibn' Abd al 'Aziz in the field of religion, Pengkodifikasian hadis officially done during the reign of' Umar ibn 'Abd al' Aziz,. Umar ibn Abd Aziz always discipline in establishing the prayer that he built as beautiful as possible with all the solemnity and kekhusu'an according to the way the Prophet performed his prayer. In the economic field, 'Umar stopped tax collection from newly converted Christians, so the Christians converted to Islam. Poverty, poverty has been overcome during the reign of this caliph, it may be said that those who want to spend zakat difficult to get the people who are entitled to receive it. In the social field, Generalize the status between Arabs and non-Arab Muslim groups known as mawali. 'Umar ibn' Abd al 'Aziz also ordered to stop the condemnation of Ali in the pulpits of Friday.

Abstract

In Islamic education, evaluation is one component of the Islamic education system that must be done systematically and planned as a tool to measure success or targets to be achieved in the process of Islamic education and learning process that is expected to be achieved by learners. Evaluation in Islamic education certainly refers to the source of Islamic teachings themselves, namely Qur'an and Hadith. Related to the source of Islamic teachings both forms of evaluation are contained in many hadiths conveyed by the Prophet, whether in the form of stories or stories or in the form of the words of the Prophet when evaluating the Companions to the tasks that have been mandated to them or evaluating the memorization or knowledge of friends who have taught the Prophet, and various other forms of evaluation contained in the hadiths of the Prophet contained in various books of hadith. To obtain information on this tradition is done tracking by using takhrîj method of hadith, so will be met the hadiths of the Prophet who contains stories that contain elements of evaluation in various books of Hadith. These hadiths analyzed the quality of their history and linked it with evaluation in Islamic education.

Abstract

At a shop located in the Village Tanjung Durian Kec. Buay Readers Kab. OKUS that sells various kinds of basic necessities of daily living, in this village there are 5 stores that sell various types of staples. The main problem lies in the accounts receivable given by the shopkeepers to the community in the village, how big is the influence, then do the shopkeepers practice the accounts payable according to Islamic principles, how is the availability of business capital of the shopkeepers in Nusamakmur village, and whether in the listing accounts payable in accordance with the principles of Islam that is recording correctly. The method used is quantitative method and qualitative method that is qualitative method is non statistical analysis which assist in research. The data obtained either in the form of numbers or in the form of tables and then interpreted well in accordance with the data obtained while the quantitative method is the analysis using statistical assistance to assist in research in calculating the figures to analyze the data obtained. Based on the results of research known methods of recording of the availability of business capital sales of staple goods Tanjung Durian Village Kec. Buay Readers Kab. OKUS does not fit the perspective of Islam this is shown from the financial statements of the data to five stores of staple goods two of which do not have complete financial statements of Marikun store and shop Lukman. Furthermore, there is a positive effect of trade receivables on the availability of venture capital sales, this is indicated from the analysis of accounts receivable turnover data from Jaaris shop 9.75 times or rounded up to (10 times) trade receivables turnover from Arifin shop 3.74 times rounded to become (4 times) the receivable turnover of shop of Muscah 16,92 rounded into (17 times). There is a positive negative effect of the turnover of accounts receivable to the capitalization of the sale of business is shown from the analysis of the financial statements of the store Jaemah by 4.32 times or 5 times, in turn, Arifin shop 3.55 times or 4 times and Musriah shop of 2, 31 times or 3 times in rotation.
