Abstract

Individual characteristics and work environment are considered as crucial aspects for companies that want to improve their employees’ performance. PT Trakindo Utama specifically Samarinda branch is one of many branches of PT Trakindo Utama in Indonesia, which become the sole agent of Caterpillar products in Indonesia. Caterpillar itself is the world's leading manufacturer of heavy equipment originally from USA. This research aims to determine the influence of characteristics and non-physical work environment of the employee performance in parts Department at PT Trakindo Utama Samarinda branch. The individual characteristics (x1) and non-physical work environment (x2) are used as independent variables while the performance of employees (Y) as dependent variable. Primary data is obtained by conducting interviews to 34 respondents by using questionnaires while secondary data is obtained by conducting field observation. Data analysis uses a double linear regression technique by using SPSS 22 software. The results show that the individual characteristic variables does not have any partial effect toward the performance of the employees of Parts Department PT Trakindo Utama Cabang Samarinda branch and individual characteristic variables (X1) and non-physical work environment (x2) are simultaneously influential in the performance of the Employees (Y) Parts Department at PT trakindo Utama, Samarinda branch.  Suggestions for PT Trakindo Utama Samarinda Branch, the company should hold a family gathering in order to improve not only for each employees relations but also with bosses to stay awake, provide suggestions and evaluate employee work which can effectively improve employee performance, manage the best possible time so that the job can be completed on time.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of product quality, price and sevice quality on costumer satisfaction Nesmilo restaurant in Samarinda. The population in this study were consumers in Nesmilo restaurants with a total sampel of 80 respondents. Data collection techniquess were carried out by observaction, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Analysis tools used validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing with spss version 22. The results of this study indicate that product quality, price and service quality simultaneously have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. The results of this study also indicate that product quality partially has a significant negative effect on customer satisfaction. The variable price partially has no effect on customer satisfaction, then the service quality partialy has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and the most influential variable on customer satisfaction is sevice quality.

Abstract

This study to purposed to examine the effect of attractive, trustworthiness, expertise by the celebrity endorser on social media instagram simultaneously, partial and dominant towards consumers’ purchase interest.The variable that used in this study consists of independent variables, those are atteractive (X1), trustworthinees (X2), and expertise (X3) also dependent variable, purchase interest (Y). This study is using quantitative research method counted 119 consuners and using nonpropability sampling. Interview, questionnaire, and observation are using to collect the data. The data analysis using multiple linear technique.Based on the result of the research, test F (simultaneous) and test t (partial) showed that atteractive variable, trustworthiness, and expertise simultaneously and partial significantly influent the consumers’ purchase interest, the biggest standardised coefficients beta is atteractive, so that we can conclude that the most influent variable is atterctive variable (X1). For all online businesses, especially instagram, it is better to pay attention in chosing the celebrity that worthy to be tha endorser so that we can get the terustworthiness and antention from the consumers and to influence the consumers’ perception to do a pruchase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and determine the effect of the recruitment process simultaneously and partially on employee performance at PT. Federal International Finance (FIF), and to test and find out which variable has the most significant effect on employee performance. Data analysis tools used are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, correlation coefficient test, determination coefficient test, F test, T test, and dominant test. The results showed that the method and source of recruitment simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the value of sig. Fcount = 0.018 <Alpha 0.05. In the t test results (partial) the recruitment source partially has a significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the value of sig. tcount X2 X2 0.005> 0.05, where the most influential is the source of recruitment with the results of standardized coefficients beta of 0.465. From the results of the study it was shown that the method and source of recruitment had a significant effect on performance by 15.2%, while the remaining 84.8% was determined by other variables not included in the study. The suggestion from researchers for PT Federal International Finance (FIF) in Samarinda City is expected to further improve employee recruitment standards and processes in the recruitment of company employees to provide quality human resources.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Marketing Mix variable on purchasing decision at Lulumart Minimarket located in Samarida. Variable used in this study consisted of the independent variable, namely the product (X1), price (X2), place (X3), promotion (X4), people (X5), physical evidence (X6), and process (X7) and the dependent variable is the purchase decision (Y1). Data collection techniques is questionnaire and interview methods. For testing the instrument using validity test, reliability, and the classic assumption test. For data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression method with the F test and t test. The results show that the seven variables simultaneously have a significant effect on customer purchasing decision on Lulumart Minimarket (Y1). The main suggestion for Lulumart Minimarket in Samarinda is research related to consumer behavior, especially regarding the effect of marketing mix on purchasing decision if it can be used as a reference in making management decision for the progress of the retail business.

Abstract

Reward and punishment are one of the key to create professional human resources in the company, especially the right reward choosen can increase the quality and quantity of employees to work better and efficient as well as the right punishement choosen can limit employees to make loss for the company to achieve the company’s goal. The purpose of the research is to find and analyze the effect of reward and punishment to employee’s performance at Ud. Laris Anda in Samarinda. Also to find out which variable reacted dominantly towards employee’s performance at UD. Laris Anda in Samarinda. The method for this research is using sample of 35 employees. The sampling’s technique is saturation sampling. Collecting data’s technique is by literature review and observation, interview, and questionares. Analyzing data’s technique is using multiple linear regression. The research found that reward and punishment simultaneously and parcially effected significantly toward employee’s performance at UD. Laris Anda in Samarinda. Writer’s suggestion for the company is to re-supervise the management of human resources in reward and punishment to get professional employee in the future.

Abstract

The results showed that the SOP used was the SOP in the simplest form which only had a few activities and decision making. In the production process there are five stages carried out during the production process, namely, preparing raw materials, stirring the dough into a mixer, the process of rolling bread, the process of developing bread and the process of developing the dough ready to bake. Here the raw materials in the form of main raw materials namely wheat flour, capital in the form of owner's personal capital, machines in the form of tools used during the production process and work force are very influential during the production process because workforce is the main actor in the production of bread king. As one of the kingpin bread businesses in Samarinda, it is expected that the staff of the kingpin bread must continue to improve and maintain the quality of the production produced, that is bread kingpin and still maintain the quality of human resources namely labor. The most important thing must not be forgotten is that labor is a very very important factor of production in every production process that should be a benchmark to find out whether the system implemented has been implemented properly.

Abstract

This research was conducted at one of the banks in the city of Samarinda. Based on the interview results, there are several employees who are dissatisfied with what they have received from the company, the company must continue to pay attention to the level of workload and provide continuous motivation to every employee without favoritism so that employees feel sufficient and satisfied for what they have received . This type of research is quantitative research. This research method uses multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of data processing showed that the regression results were Y = 0.328 + 0.733 X1 + 0.163 X2, showing Motivation (X1) 0.733 and workload (X2) 0.163 and obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.794 or 79.4% and a coefficient of determination of 0.63 or 63%. The results of simultaneous hypothesis research (Test F) by obtaining Fcount 69.892 with Ftable of 3.108, thus proving a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The results of partial hypothesis testing (T test) are known that motivation is the most influential variable on employee job satisfaction and with the acquisition of Tcount of 9.3362 with Ttable 1.989, thus proving a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The most influential hypothesis research results are known that motivation is the most influential variable that is most influential on employee job satisfaction with the acquisition of standardized regression coefficients (Standardized coefficients) of 0.688 greater than the variable Workload of 0.205 then proves significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Suggestions for companies to be able to provide bonuses for employees who have shown good and satisfying performance and performance, but also can provide direction or guidance for employees who have not been given before or work with a high degree of difficulty.

Abstract

The research talk about The effect of Services Quality and Store Atmosphere to purchase decision, that has been done service quality and store atmosphere change to purchase decision available at Sugar Rush hasn’t been complete that visitor target.Analysis tool that being used is validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, F test, T test, and most influence variable test. The result of F test (simultaneous) shows that service quality and store atmosphere significant simultaneously influence to purchase decision. This proved by sig Fvalue = 0,000 < α 0,05. In result of T test (partial) variable service quality significant partially influence to purchase decision, this proved by sig Tvalue = 0,000 < α 0,05 and variable T test result that store atmosphere partially not influence significant with purchase decision, this proved by sig Tvalue = 0,059 > α 0,05. Which most influence is service quality with strandardized coefficients beta value 0,556. This research conclude that service quality and store atmosphere simultaneously significant to purchase decision, as for more effective variabel which is service quality. Advice that can be given to company is add more employee so there’s more clear task and fast service, add additional facility such as wifi and live music and make improvement with parking space and restaurant sign.

Abstract

This study aims: (i) to find out the promotion and brand trust variables simultaneously have a significant effect on purchase intention (ii) to find out the promotion and brand trust variables partially have a significant effect on purchase intention (iii) to find out between the promotion and brand trust variables that most influence on consumer purchase intention at Elzatta Gallery in Balikpapan. This study uses three variables namely the promotion, brand trust and purchase intention. This type of research is a correlation method with a quantitative approach. The population in this research were all consumers of the Elzatta Gallery in Balikpapan whose exact number was unknown and the sampling technique used non-probability sampling with accidental sampling method, the number of samples was 100 respondents. Data collection techniques: field research (observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation) and library research. Then the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using the test: validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity), hypothesis test (partial, simultaneous, dominant), multiple linear regression analysis. The result obtained in this study are (i) Promotion and Brand Trust simultaneously had a significant effect on Purchase Intention (ii) Promotion and Brand Trust partially had a significant effect on Purchase intention (iii) Brand Trust is a variable that has the most influence on consumer purchase intention at Elzatta Gallery in Balikpapan.
