Abstract

Tourism marketing is one of the most important activities for the order market a product. Every company will do marketing with different ways and cconcepts to attract people’s attention. Advertising becomes one of the important promotion methods for PT. Wahana Ladang Budaya to increase tourist visits. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether promosi (X) affect the level of kunjungan wisatawan (Y) on Ladang Budaya Tenggarong attractions. This type research is quantitative research. Data in obtain sourced from people who visit Ladang Budaya Tengarong attractions by taking a sample of 100 people and the data obtained is sourced from the manager of the Ladang Budaya Tenggarong attractions, with data collection techniques, namely literature study and field studies consisting of questionnaire techniques that have been tested for validity and its reliability. This research method uses simple linear regression analysis method. The results of data processing showed that the results of the regression equation were not experiencing data abnormalities or can be said to be normal data. Results statistical testing shows that the promosi variable has a positive effect to the level of kunjungan wisatawan. T test results indicate that the promosi variable (X) Partially significant effect on the level of kunjungan wisatawan to revisiting the tourism object of the Ladang Budaya Tenggarong. Sugesstions to the manager of the Ladang Budaya Tenggarong is that can continue to improve existing promotions, so that the community can be more get to know more and can follow the latest news about Ladang Budaya attractions.

Abstract

Banks must carry out their activities with the precautionary principle so as not to harm the wider community such as the banking crisis of 1998 and 2008, therefore Bank Indonesia issued regulation no. 13/1 / PBI / 2011 in 2012 as a guideline for banks to maintain banking health using the RGEC method. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the CAR, NIM, NPL, and LDR ratio to the ROA ratio. With all of the above ratios are from the Bank Indonesia RGEC assessment method, on BUMN banks consisting of BNI, Mandiri, BRI, and BTN. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 21 application with a six-year observation period (2013-2018) from four state-owned banks with independent variables CAR (X1), NIM (X2), NPL (X3) and LDR (X4) and variables dependent on ROA (Y). The results of this study shows that simultaneously CAR, NIM, NPL, and LDR ratios have a significant effect on ROA, while partialy each of the ratio CAR has a significant and negative effect on ROA, NIM has a positive and significant effect on ROA, and NPL has a significant and negative effect on ROA while LDR ratio does not significantly influence ROA. So the researcher's suggestion is that the capital in CAR can be channeled back into the productive assets to increase bank profits both in terms of interest (NIM) and overall profit (ROA) while the NPL ratio can be improved risk management so as not reduce bank profits both NIM and ROA and for the LDR ratio so that Bank BTN adjusts its LDR ratio in accordance with Bank Indonesia regulations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supervision on employee performance at the Regional Licensing and Investment Board (BPPMD) of East Kalimantan Province in Samarinda. This research was conducted using a simple regression analysis tool to find the regression equation. Then to see the level of influence used Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. Then to determine the size of the contribution or influence is used next formula determinant coefficient for hypothesis testing is done by comparing the value of rcount with the value of rtable. The results of this study produce the following equations and values. Obtained a regression equation Ŷ = 2.084 + 0.582 X. And the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.463 and the determinant coefficient of 21.4% of supervision affects the performance of BPPMD employees. In the hypothesis test produces a comparison that is rcount of 0.463> rtable (attached) of 0.297 with a significance level of 5%, so it can be concluded that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected which means that supervision affects the performance of BPPMD employees East Kalimantan Province in Samarinda. Based on this research, it is suggested to improve employee performance by providing training that is ongoing and increasing supervision is carried out in stages.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transactional leadership on employee work motivation at PT. Wijaya Sukses Sejahtera in Berau Regency. The variables used in this study consisted of independent variables, namely contingent reward (X1), exception management (X2), and exploitative management (X3) and the dependent variable was work motivation (Y). Simultaneous test (F test) with 95% confidence level of employees in the office of PT. Wijaya Sukses Sejahtera in Berau District proves that simultaneously Contingent Reward variables (X1), active exception management (X2), and passive exception management (X3) amounted to 11.541 so (11.541> 2.76) significantly influence work motivation (Y). The results of the t-test are known that the contingent reward indicator is the most influential indicator on the performance of employees at PT. Wijaya Sukses Prosperous Berau. Thus proving the hypothesis influential on work motivation simultaneously received (H0 is rejected and Ha accepted).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the variable product quality, brand image and celebrity endorser partially to the purchase decision of a smartphone’s, to determine the variable product quality, brand image and celebrity endorser partially on the purchase intention of a smartphone’s, as well as to determine the variable product quality, brand image and celebrity endorser partially on the purchase decision a smartphone’s through purchase intention as an intervening variable. The method used uses a quantitative research approach. The sample in this study 100 students of Muhammadiyah of University Ponorogo. The sampling technique using cluster rondom sampling. The result of this are the variable product quality, brand image and celebrity endorser partially affect the purchase decision of a smartphone’s, the variable product quality, brand image and celebrity endorser partially affect the purchase intention of a smartphone’s, as well as to determine the variable product quality, brand image and celebrity endorser partially affect on the purchase decision a smartphone’s  through purchase intention as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) Implementation on Informa Samarinda Square Customer Satisfaction, Samarinda either partially or simultaneously. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population and samples used by the researchers were consumers who were visiting Informa Samarinda Square Samarinda which numbered 100 respondents. The data collection in this study used questionnaires. Data analysis tools used validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, determination coefficient test, F test and T test. From this study it was concluded that there is a strong positive relationship between variable focus on customers (X1), obsession with quality (X2), teamwork (X3), andemployee engagement and empowerment (X4), to customer satisfaction (Y). This is evidenced by the correlation coefficient value of r 0.696 or 6.96%. The results of this study concluded that customer focus variables (X1), obsession with quality (X2), teamwork (X3), andemployee engagement and empowerment (X4), partially had a significant effect on customer satisfaction (Y). This is evidenced by the t calculated value of 9,605 with a significant rate of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and describe the role of the Youth and Sports Department of Tourism in increasing tourist arrivals in the City of Bontang as well as to identify and describe the inhibiting and supporting factors of the Office of Youth Sports and Tourism in increasing tourist arrivals in the City of Bontang. The focus of this research is the role of the Department of Youth Sports and Tourism in increasing tourist arrivals in the City of Bontang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with interview techniques to the Department of Youth Sports and Tourism to find out how the role of the Department of Youth Sports and Tourism in increasing tourist arrivals in the City of Bontang so far; the manager to find out how the role of the Department of tourism in the development of the tourism objects they manage; to the tourism industry players to find out how the socialization and the role of the Tourism Office towards the tourism industry that they manage so that they take part in promoting tourism especially in the City of Bontang. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the Department of Youth Sports and Tourism has a role in the development of tourism in the City of Bontang. This can be seen in the data received by researchers, namely tourist arrivals in the City of Bontang have experienced an increase from year to year, but still not evenly distributed. This happens because there are still many managers and tourism industry players who complain that there is still a lack of contribution or assistance from the Tourism Office towards the tourism objects they manage. The results of this study researchers can provide suggestions that the need for equal distribution of contributions from the Department of Youth Sports and Tourism to the management of tourism objects and tourism industry players, and also promotion activities more enhanced in order to further increase tourist arrivals in the City of Bontang.

Abstract

Good and poor person's performance can be influenced by many factors, among others is the granting of reward and punishment. Reward and punishment are two forms of methods to motivate, encourage and encourage employees to do good and improve their performance. This research aims to determine the influence between Reward and Punishment PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP) Samarinda branch both partially and simultaneously to the employee's performance. The population of this research is all employees of PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP) branch of Samarinda. Data collection in this study using questionnaires. Data analysis tools used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test, F test and T test. From this research concluded that effect of apartial reward of the employee’s performance amounted to 48.5%, of the results Tcount>Ttable (3,919>1,993), and a partial punishment influence on the employee’s performance of 60.9%, of the result Tcount>Ttable (3,748>1,993), and simultaneously there was an influence between reward and punishment to performance by 50.2%, from the result of Fcount>Ftable (38,529>3,123). The results showed that the partial and simultaneous reward and punishment have significant effect on the employee's performance.  PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP) should provide appropriate reward and punishment to improve employee performance.

Abstract

The background of this research is the sales of Vivo Smartphone that is not stable at PT Salim Surya Phone Samarinda. The sales decline was caused by the brand image and attribute products. There are some purposes of this study are to know and analyse the variable influences of brand image and attribute products to the purchasing decision of Vivo Smartphone at PT Salim Surya Phone  Samarinda. And to know which variables have the dominant influences on the purchasing decision of these products. The research method that the researcher used is a quantitative research method. The sample of this study was 100 respondents with amount population. The technique that used is Incidental sampling Technique. The data collection technique is study of literature and field research that is questionnaire, observation, and interview. While the data analysis technique used multiple linear analysis. The conclusion of this study are the variable of brand image (X1) and attribute products (X2) simultaneously and partial significant effects on purchasing decision (X2) is to have a dominant influence on products purchasing decision of Vivo Smartphone at PT Salim Surya Phone Samarinda.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find an independent variable consisting of service quality X1 and X2 ( risk perception ) influences the dependent variable customer satisfaction (Y).The population of the research is every consumer J&T that use the expedition was .The sample collection technique using simple random sampling .Included in this research using formulas slovin 100 respondents .The research is quantitative research .Data collection techniques that is by using data primary and secondary data .A scale of measurement data using likert scale .Use the instrument for testing the classic , the data analysis techniques in a linear regression multiple. The results of the study showed that of the study are variable risk perception is the variable against the customer satisfaction in the most influential in the use of services expedition J&T in Samarinda. Expedition J&T in samarinda should increase customer customers with the figure in a receptive manner opinion of consumers.
