Abstract

Reward and punishment are one of the key to create professional human resources in the company, especially the right reward choosen can increase the quality and quantity of employees to work better and efficient as well as the right punishement choosen can limit employees to make loss for the company to achieve the company’s goal. The purpose of the research is to find and analyze the effect of reward and punishment to employee’s performance at Ud. Laris Anda in Samarinda. Also to find out which variable reacted dominantly towards employee’s performance at UD. Laris Anda in Samarinda. The method for this research is using sample of 35 employees. The sampling’s technique is saturation sampling. Collecting data’s technique is by literature review and observation, interview, and questionares. Analyzing data’s technique is using multiple linear regression. The research found that reward and punishment simultaneously and parcially effected significantly toward employee’s performance at UD. Laris Anda in Samarinda. Writer’s suggestion for the company is to re-supervise the management of human resources in reward and punishment to get professional employee in the future.

Abstract

The internet is an information technology that is growing very rapidly because the internet has become a necessity and also provides convenience in everyday life, one of which is online transportation. Go-Ride is an online transportation service that uses the internet to make it easier for people to carry out activities safely and comfortably, so that consumers are loyal to the products offered.This study aims to determine the effect of price, service quality, and promotion on customer loyalty for Go-Ride users in Samarinda. Price (X1), Service Quality (X2), Promotion (X3) are used as independent variables while Customer Loyalty (Y) is the dependent variable. Primary data were obtained by conducting interviews with 100 respondents using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of statistical software SPSS version 20.The results of this study indicate that service quality and promotion partially have a significant effect on customer loyalty, while price does not partially have a significant effect on customer loyalty to Go-Ride users in Samarinda.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of business capital and entrepreneurial attitudes on the income of micro small businesses in M. Said Samarinda. The variables used in this study consisted of independent variables, namely variables of venture capital and entrepreneurial attitudes. While the dependent variable is business income. In this study using quantitative methods, namely definition, quantitative data measurement and objective statistics through scientific calculations derived from samples of traders in the M. Said Samarinda area. The data collection technique used was observation, questionnaires and literature writing. While the analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. The research concludes that business capital (X_1) and entrepreneurial attitude (X_2) simultaneously have a significant effect on income (Y). The regression equation is Y = 0.507 + 1.237 X_1 + -0,364 X_2. The R value (correlation coefficient) obtained is 0.948 and the R Square value (coefficient of determination) is 0.899 or 89.9%. Overall hypothesis testing (F test) shows that the independent variables (independent) together have a significant effect on income. The results of the partial test (t-test) show that business capital has a significant effect on income, while entrepreneurial attitudes have no significant effect on income. The most influential variable is business capital.

Abstract

Bankruptcy is a critical issue that companies must be aware of. Bankruptcy and the level of the company's performance can be seen from the company's financial condition by analyzing the company's financial statements. The most widely used bankruptcy prediction model is the Altman Z-Score model..The Altman Z-Score model analysis was chosen as the model used in bankruptcy prediction because, this model is easy to use with a high degree of accuracy. The purpose of this research is to determine bankruptcy predictions using the Altman Z-Score model in retail companies listed on the IDX in 2014-2018. This kind of exploration is expressive quantitative utilizing monetary reports as an examination instrument. The examining method was,carried out by utilizing purposive sampling,technique which was then controlled by nine retail organizations as the sample. The results show that on average six companies are in a safe zone, including issuers ECII, HERO, MPPA, RANC, SKYB, SONA and two companies in the gray zone or prone to bankruptcy, namely CENT and KOIN, one company in the dangerous zone, namely RIMO

Abstract

Experiential marketing is a concept to create a positive customer experience in using a company's products or services. Asyifa Swalayan is a company engaged in the retail business, therefore the experiential marketing strategy is very influential for Asyifa Swalayan to attract customers to make repeat purchases. This study aims to test and analyze the effect of Experiential Marketing (X) on Customer Loyalty (Y) on Asyifa Swalayan customers. This type of research approach used is quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 96 customers. The sampling method used was purposive sampling technique where the technique had criteria in accordance with the conditions specified as a sample. The data collection technique was carried out by means of observation, interviews and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used simple linear regression analysis method and used SPSS version 23. The results showed that the variable Experiential Marketing had a significant effect on Customer Loyalty at Asyifa Swalayan Samarinda. This can be seen from the simple linear regression value of 0.402. With the value of the correlation coefficient (R) 0.68 4 means that there is a strong positive relationship between the variables Experiential Marketing on customer loyalty, and the value of determination (R2) 47%, which means that the variable Experiential Marketing on customer loyalty, while 53% are influenced by variables others who were not examined in this study. Suggestions to Asyifa Swalayan, companies should provide facilities in the form of children's toys so that customers focus on shopping and prevent other negative things such as breaking, scattering, and destroying items in the store.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation, interest rates, and the exchange rate of the dollar (USA) on the LQ45 stock price index. Data collection techniques are a method of Documentation. For test instruments using classic assumption tests and tests Statistics. Data analysis techniques using some linear regression for variables using four variables, test F and test t. The results showed that variable inflation (X1), interest rate (X2), and exchange rate (X3) simultaneously LQ45 stock price index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (Y).

Abstract

Occupational safety and health is important for companies that want to improve thei employees work produktivity. PT Segara Timber is one of the industry companies that relies heavily on the productivity of its employees work to meet the demands of the market in addition to achieving profit. However, the productivity of employees at PT Segara Timber in Samarinda is considered as not maximally due to some ongoing accident.This research aims to determine the impact of occupational safety and health to the productivity of PT Segara Timber employees in Samarinda. Safety (X1), and occupational health (X2) are used as independent variables while the emplyee’s work productivity (Y) becomes a dependent variable. Primary data is obtained by conducting interviews to 90 respondents using questionnaires. Secondary data is obtained by conducting field observations. Data was analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques with the help of SPSS version 23 statistical software.The results showed that occupational safety and helath variables were simultaneously influential to the employee’s work productivity at PT Segara Timber in Samarinda.Advice on PT Segara Timber, should be able to maintain and improve the implementation of occupational helath and safety indicators so that employees work productivity can increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) Implementation on Informa Samarinda Square Customer Satisfaction, Samarinda either partially or simultaneously. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population and samples used by the researchers were consumers who were visiting Informa Samarinda Square Samarinda which numbered 100 respondents. The data collection in this study used questionnaires. Data analysis tools used validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, determination coefficient test, F test and T test. From this study it was concluded that there is a strong positive relationship between variable focus on customers (X1), obsession with quality (X2), teamwork (X3), andemployee engagement and empowerment (X4), to customer satisfaction (Y). This is evidenced by the correlation coefficient value of r 0.696 or 6.96%. The results of this study concluded that customer focus variables (X1), obsession with quality (X2), teamwork (X3), andemployee engagement and empowerment (X4), partially had a significant effect on customer satisfaction (Y). This is evidenced by the t calculated value of 9,605 with a significant rate of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims: (i) to find out social media marketing variables partially have a significant effect on purchase decisions (ii) to find out word of mouth variables partially have a significant effect on purchase decisions (iii) to find out social media marketing and word of mouth variables simultaneously have a significant effect on consumer purchase decisions at J.CO Donuts and Coffee in Samarinda. This study uses three variables namely social media marketing, word of mouth and purchase decisions. This type of research is a correlation method with a quantitative approach. The population in this research were all consumers of the J.CO Donuts and Coffee in Samarinda whose exact number was unknown and the sampling technique used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling method, the number of samples was 100 respondents. Data collection techniques: field research (observation, online and offline questionnaires) and library research. Then the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using the test: validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity), hypothesis test (partial and simultaneous), multiple linear regression analysis. The result obtained in this study are (i) Social Media Marketing partially had a significant effect on Purchase Decisions (ii) Word Of Mouth partially had a significant effect on Purchase Decisions (iii) Social Media Marketing and Word Of Mouth simultaneously had a significant effect on consumer Purchase Decisions at J.CO Donuts and Coffee in Samarinda.

Abstract

The company is here not only to achieve a goal, to get profit and to sustain a business but also to be responsible for the real growth af community welfare (stakeholders), espencially in communities around the company that have a direct or indirect impact on the company’s operational activities as outlined in the corporate sosial responsibility program. The implementation of the CSR program polic is stated more clearly in the Limited Liability Company Law (UUPT) Article 74 No. 40 of 2007. This study aims to identifity and describe the implementation of the corporate sosial responsibility polic of PT. KITADIN in the community if Embalut village can provide social, economic, and environmental benefits for the company. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with a research focus: the application of CSR policies in sosial development, economic development, environmental protection, and the suitability of planinning and implementing CSR The results of research in the implementation of the CSR policy of PT. KITADIN has provided benefits to society by providing several policies such as social development programs, economic development, and environmental improvement. This program has had a very good impact in increasing community independence and has had a good influence on the company, sunc as increasing reputation, trust, and building good relations between the company and the community. PT. KITADIN should do a follow-up on what is still needed by the people in Embalut village and more regularly review the programs that have been given. Meanwhile, in Embalut village, it is better if the program planning proposal is made approximately on month before the planning of the corporate social responsibility program starts and reports on the achievement of success in the CSR programs that have been given.
