Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of gender, age, time of audit, the change of auditor and the external costs of the audit to the quality of auditors. Some previous studies of the quality of auditors showed different results - different. Therefore, other studies need to be done to test the theory about the quality auditor. The population of this study were 143 manufacturing companies. The sampling method used is purposive sampling method, in order to obtain a sample of 17 companies for 3 years of observation (2013-2015) with 51 observations (observation). Data were obtained from a sample of companies that are downloaded from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and logistic regression analysis. The process of data analysis done first is descriptive analysis, logistic regression analysis and then test the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that the partial replacement of external auditors and audit baiaya significantly affect the quality of auditors. As for gender, age and time has no effect partial audit of the Quality auditor. The results of this study simultaneously gender, age, time of audit, the change of the external auditor and audit fees simultaneous effect on audit quality.

Abstract

This research tries to see how youth voter perception (public senior high school) that exist in Medan to political parties. Youth voter is one of the important elements in the election. The election in 2014 was the first election for those categorized as youth voter. Youth voter have a fairly large amount, making it great potential for those who want to reap the vote in the election. In this case, political parties as the main participants in elections is a part that directly in contact with youth voter. However, the dynamics of Indonesian politics where political party members caught many criminal cases raises the question, how youth voter perception of the political party? Did the dynamics influence their perception? The theory is used to explain the perception is theory of David Krech and Fred Luthans. The elaboration of youth voter given by the electoral commission as part of the general elections in Indonesia. An understanding of the political parties can be seen explanation by Joseph Lapalomba, Myron Weiner, Carl Friederich, Roger Soltau and Sigmund Neumann. While further explanation of political parties expressed by Gabriel Almond. By using questionnaires as the main techniques of data collection, the study relies on the analysis of the interviews were obtained. Youth voter have a great enthusiasm to face an election. With the amount of information available, also with so many media intermediaries such information. However as noted earlier, political parties do not play a main role, but the negative news that emerged as the consumption of youth voter. Youth voter great enthusiasm, although supported by a large potential just is not without obstacles. Enthusiasm is merely ceremonial. Lack of interest in other substantive activities result of poor understanding of the whole electoral process.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine and analyze the effect of Economic Growth, Education level, Human Development Index on Employement Opportunity of North Sumatera Province in 2017–2019. This research use quantitative method secondary data obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik site. Sampel of this research are 33 cities/regencies. The analysis method is using multiple linear regression analysis with panel data by Eviews 10 software. The results of the research show that simultaneously economic growth, education level, and human development index have a significant effect on employement opportunity. Partially, the economic growth and education level don’t have an effect on employement opportunities, while human development index has a negative effect on employment opportunity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of price, promotion and product quality on Affinois purchasing decisions partially or simultaneously. The sampling technique was using probability sampling technique with a proportionate stratified random sampling approach, the number of samples in this study amounted to 95 respondents. The method of data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research, it was found that the price and promotion variables partially influence the purchasing decision, while the product quality variable partially has no effect on the purchasing decision. However, simultaneously variables, price, promotion, and product quality affect purchasing decisions. The result of the coefficient of determination is 50.2%, this shows that the variables consisting of price, promotion and product quality affect the purchasing decision variables by 50.2%. While the remaining 49.8% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of working capital management efficiency (Inventory Conversion Period, Receivable Collection Period, Payables Defferal Period, Cash Conversion period, Firm Size, and Company status) together and partially to Profitability On Pharmaceutical Companies Listed In Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis with pooled least square method. The population in this study were 8 Pharmaceutical Companies year 2010-2014 there are Companies BUMN and BUMS. samples were taken based on certain criteria. based on these criteria the number of samples of this study of eight Pharmaceutical Companies. the results of this study indicate that together working capital management efficiency that consist of Inventory Conversion Period, Receivable Collection Period, Payables Defferal Period, Cash Conversion period, Firm Size, and Company status significantly influence to Profitability. However, partial, Inventory Conversion Period, dan Receivable Collection Period not significant positive effect on Gross Profit Margin. Payables Defferal Period, dan Cash Conversion period not significant negative effect on Gross Profit Margin, Firm Size, significant negative effect on Gross Profit Margin, and company status significant positive effect on Gross Profit Margin.
