Abstract

This study aims to identify millennial Muslim consumers' perceptions of South Korean halal packaged food products and examine the relationship of each determinant to these food products. The research method used is a quantitative survey with a multiple linear regression data analysis method. The results showed that the primary perception of millennial Muslim consumers' intention to buy South Korean halal packaged food is the halal logo or certification. The factors determining this purchase intention do not fully have a positive and significant effect. Factors that have a positive and significant influence include; halal awareness, halal logo/certification, and product ingredients. While the factors of religious belief and exposure do not positively and significantly influence purchasing intentions. This study recommends that businesses engaged in the South Korean food sector with Muslims as their target customers follow halal principles, such as managing halal certification and including halal labels, raw material information, and processing methods of product/food packaging.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the advantages of the Muvon Ecosystem mobile learning application in improving the quality of practicum of SMK students in the context of distance learning. A descriptive qualitative approach is used in this research, with data processing from interviews with respondents consisting of the Head of SMK, Curriculum Staff, Productive Teachers, and Students of SMK Muhammadiyah in DKI Jakarta. The research method is adjusted to the analysis that is measurable and set in a certain period. This research aims to collect primary and secondary data to find facts in the field regarding the need for innovation in the use of mobile learning for vocational practicum through the use of questionnaires as a data collection instrument. The results of this study concluded that respondents showed a positive response to the utilization of the Muvon Ecosystem mobile learning application in distance learning for vocational practicum of vocational students, with a percentage level of agreement of 78%. This shows that Muvon Ecosystem has advantages compared to other mobile learning applications and can be an alternative in carrying out practicum activities with online instructions. Muvon Ecosystem application has a variety of feature facilities such as EduMu, LearningMu, VideoMU, PustakaMU, MessenggerMU, and so on which are very helpful for teachers in implementing practicum learning methods. Another advantage is that Muvon Ecosystem is free to use without requiring payment to become a member for a certain period of time, unlike the RuangGuru application. In addition, the Muvon Ecosystem also allows integration with parents, so parents can control their child's learning activities at school. However, there are drawbacks to Muvon Ecosystem that need to be considered. The main issue that arises is that the network is an obstacle, as not all students are in locations with strong signals. Some students face the problem of weak signals, so learning through the Muvon Ecosystem app stops when the signal becomes weak.

The result of R2 from X1 and X2 to Y with a score of coefficient determinate (R2) 0.699 or 69.9 in percentage. It means that X1 and X2 give intervention on Y about 69.9%. The rest of it (30.1%) is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The impact of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 has led to changes in various aspects of life, including the economy and education. The increasing needs of life make students look for ways to meet these needs. The phenomenon of students carrying out dual roles, namely studying while working, is often found among students in Surabaya. Students tend to choose jobs in the field of social media because the time is flexible and can be adequately mastered. This study examines and analyzes the effect of flexible working arrangements on job performance through work-life balance. This research is a causality study with a quantitative approach. Determination of the sample using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this study was 110 respondents, that is, students in Surabaya who work in the field of social media. The statistical analysis used is the Partial Least Squares with the help of SmartPLS 3.2.9 software. This study explains that flexible working arrangements positively and significantly affect employee job performance. A work-life balance also has a positive and significant impact on job performance. However, a work-life balance cannot mediate the relationship between flexible working arrangements and job performance.
