Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of organizing, presenting, and managing the tasmi' method and connecting verses in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Lathifiyyah Islamic Boarding School. This research uses qualitative research methods based on descriptive studies. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used steps of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data verification is done by using triangulation technique which compares data from three instruments and three different data sources. The results showed that the organization of this method was carried out by organizing the curriculum and memorization material starting from juz 1, where tasmi' was carried out in half juz to one juz instead of persurat. Organizing is carried out starting from planning, determining success indicators, objectives, materials, media, implementation steps and assessments. While the management is carried out in several stages, namely the acceptance of new students, the tahsin stage, the bin-nazhar stage, the tahfizh stage, the talaqqi stage, the Takrir stage, the tasmi stage, and the verse continuation stage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence of the judicial commission on the supervision of judges in Law no. 18 of 2011 concerning the Judicial Commission. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method using a literature study approach. The main data source used is Law no. 18 of 2011 concerning the Judicial Commission and the Law on Amendments to Law Number 22 of 2004 concerning the Judicial Commission. Data analysis is carried out by comparing the existence of the judicial commission from the two legal sources, and then drawing conclusions about the existence of the judicial commission, and its function of supervising judges. The results of the study indicate that the change to Law No. 22 of 2004 is the answer to the ambiguity of the duties, authorities and functions of the Judicial Commission, because it is not clear enough what is meant by "other powers in order to maintain and uphold honor, dignity, and behavior". judge." The problem becomes clearer, if the other authority is interpreted as supervision, because in the laws and regulations there are other institutions (besides the Judicial Commission) which are given the authority to carry out supervision. It is also in the context of maintaining and upholding the honor, nobility of dignity, and the behavior of judges is supervision.

Abstract

A naughty child is a test from God who has to be lived with the right solution. So, parents should be grateful if they haave a naughty child. This research aims to determine the strategy to build the child character of elementary school in the book "Alhamdulillah Anakku Nakal" by Miftahul Jinan and Choirus Syafruddin. This research type is library research and the method used in data collection is the documentation. The results of this research explained that to create a good success in character education of children in a family, in addition to how to educate or proper parenting, as parents need a strategy in building the child character of elementary school. The strategies used include: (1) creating an atmosphere filled with comfort and affection, (2) inviting children to feel what others feel, (3) reminding the importance of affection between family members, (4) using habituation methods, and (5) making them accustomed to good behavior. The contributions of contemporary education in this book include: (1) building a mindset whose paradigm is about bad attitudes from children to be good, 2) parents become more relaxed, wise, and calmer seeing children's behavior that is not in accordance with their wishes, and (3) parental remorse due to wrong actions.

Abstract

The current education is far from expectations, it can be seen from the failure of Islamic educational institutions in producing a generation with good morals. Actually there are many concepts presented by previous figures, including Ibn Miskwaih. On this basis, this study aims to analyze Ibn Miskawaih's thoughts on moral education and the education system. The research method used is library research. The primary data used is the book of Tahdzib al-Akhlak. secondary data obtained from other books, and articles sourced from journals and research results. The results of the study explain that humans consist of physical and spiritual and have the potential or basic abilities that are tabi'i, but they can change due to influences from within and outside of humans, namely through education. Ibn Miskawaih hints that the purpose of education is the formation of a noble personality, which he calls isabah al-khuluq al-syrif, namely a substantially and essential noble person, not a temporal and accidental glory such as a materialistic and autocratic person. While the educational methods and tools that can be used according to Ibn Miskawaih are natural methods (tabi'i), advice and guidance, threats of rebuke, blows and punishments, flattery and praise, and educating based on educational principles.

Abstract

Assessments are often unable to assess what is really meant to be graded, even it seems that it is just giving a score. In fact, a real assessment is needed according to the results shown by students. This study aims to analyze the planning and implementation of authentic assessments as well as the obstacles faced in Islamic religious learning at SMP Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar. The study used a qualitative descriptive study, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study explain that the planning of authentic assessment is done by first compiling an instrument based on the learning objectives that have been set, but in this case the teacher only modifies the instrument that has been approved by the curriculum development team of the city education office. Implementation is carried out by applying performance learning such as fardhu kifyah practice, ability tests in the form of non-tests, or observation sheets. Some of the obstacles faced by the large number of students who want to be assessed, personal value bias, difficulty in scoring management. The point is that authentic assessment is in accordance with the characteristics of Islamic education learning which does require performance-based or practice-based assessments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the modernization of Islamic education in the curriculum and Human Resource aspects of Madrasahs. The focus of the discussion is more on the historicity and development. This research is a library research (Library Study), where the data sources used are books, or research journals related to the modernization of education in the curriculum and human resources aspects of Madrasahs. Data collection is of course done with documentation techniques. Namely tracing all library documents such as books, research reports, research journals, and so on. For data analysis, the researcher used content analysis techniques, meaning that the data obtained from various sources were then analyzed for the material to be drawn conclusions. The results of the research show that the existing reforms have greatly enlightened the name of the madrasa in the midst of the life of the Indonesian people. If in the past, madrasas were marginalized by the colonialists, now madrasas are included in the body of the National education system. Madrasas are institutions whose existence is equivalent to general education. From the aspect of human resources, madrasas have also developed, both in terms of qualifications and competence.
