Abstract

Unemployment is one of the big problems commonly found in all countries in the world. Not only in developing countries, but also in developed countries. Specifically for Indonesia, the unemployment rate is still relatively high. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded the number of open unemployment in August 2019 of 5.28% or reaching 7.05 million people. The unemployment rate increased in number compared to August 2018 by 7 million people or decreased by a percentage of 5.34%,The increase in TPAK gives an indication of the economic potential from the supply side of the increased workforce. Judging from the employment trends during August 2018-August 2019, this cannot be separated from the mindset of students in general. Students tend to want to become job seekers (job seekers) rather than job creators. Therefore, one of the efforts to reduce unemployment is by instilling and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in students.Ahmad Dahlan Institute of Technology Jakarta as a technopreneur campus, specifically students have received entrepreneurship courses which include soft skills, leadership and entrepreneurship, in this case divided into 5 competency sections taught namely, character, communication and interpersonal, creativity and innovation, selling products and services, and business management. The five competencies are then organized into 14 meetings and entrepreneurial practices using the student centered learning method.

Abstract

To find out the competencies a person has, we need a tool called evaluation. There are two things that need to be distinguished in evaluation, the meaning is measurement and assessment or interpretation. To be able to measure correctly, you need the correct measurement tool too. The correct measuring device must meet several requirements, including: valid, reliable, and practical. There are several types of measuring devices. In addition there are subjective measurement tools (essays), objectives (multiple choice, matchmaking, short content, and right-wrong), and performance, now it is beginning to be known as portfolio measurement tools. The portfolio is a collection of the work of a student as a result of carrying out a performance task, which is determined by the teacher or by students with the teacher, as part of an effort to achieve learning goals, or achieve competencies specified in the curriculum. Abstract

PLN Tertiary Education of Engineering is one of universities that focused on energy and electricity. The type of courses offered in Electrical Engineering major are theoretical courses and practical courses. One of the courses that consist both theoretical and practical courses is Electrical Measurement (EM). PLN Tertiary Education of Engineering suggested that students should apply for theoretical course before starting any practical course, or to take both courses in the same semester. However, there are still students who applied for practical courses before finishing theoretical course. Is there any correlation between theoretical and practical courses, as well as connection between Learning Motivation and Practical Course?. This research is conducted using Two-Way Analysis of Variance (two-way ANOVA) with factorial design of 2x2, and further testing using Tukey’s Range Test using the data of 2018 students’ results who are applying for practical courses with prior theoretical course participation and those without any prior theoretical course participation. Step 1: Data collection; Step 2: Requirement analysis test (normality and homogeneity); Step 3: Validity and Reliability test using learning motivation questionnaires; Step 4: Two-way ANOVA; Step 5: Tukey’s Range Test. Interaction found between EM course and student’s learning motivation towards the result of their EM practical work. This is evident from Fh = 16,66 and Ft = 4,04 at α = 0,05 with Fh > Ft which means H1 is accepted. Therefore, there is an impact between theoretical courses towards practical courses.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 that is currently happening is marked by the rush of digitalization and automation which causes humans to not be separated from gadgets and the internet. Humans are subjects who play a role in regulating and determining that connectivity. People who have strong character will successfully develop connectivity in internet-based networks. Innovative, creative, honest, disciplined traits are required to exist in a network. That is why character education for our students is so necessary. Several research results show that the teachings and thoughts of Ki Hadjar Dewantara or Tamansiswa teachings are still very relevant to education today, this is because Ki Hadjar Dewantara teaches various things in shaping the character of the nation and is very down to earth and rooted in Indonesian culture, including Tutwuri Handayani, Pancadharma, Among, which is based on Trikon (continuity, convergence, and concentricity), Tripusat education (family, school, community), Tringga (Ngerti, Ngrasa, Nglakoni).
