Abstract

In implementing public services, the Class II Immigration Office of TPI Pare-Pare has used digital technology to convey immigration information, but there are several problems, namely there are still people who do not know about passport service information. The author seeks to evaluate the use of digital technology for the dissemination of passport service information at the Class II Immigration Office of TPI Pare-Pare. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected by conducting interviews and observations and taking documents from the office. In data processing techniques used the model of Miles and Huberman. In disseminating information through digital media, the Class II Immigration Office of TPI Pare-Pare uses social media Instagram, Facebook and the Website. Information dissemination involves the use of Hardware, Software, and Brainware. Passport service information that is distributed via digital media at the Class II TPI Pare-Pare Immigration Office can be said to be of high quality because it meets the indicators of Relevancy, Acuracy, Timeliness, and Completeness. The obstacles experienced by the Class II TPI Pare-Pare Immigration Office in disseminating passport service information through digital technology are human errors such as errors in inputting letters causing typos in the disseminated information, technical errors, and environmental disturbances.

Abstract

In the digital era these days, the role of public relations that is referring to communication has a huge influence on the development of all aspects of an organization. One example of its implementation is the Public Relations of the Immigration Office Class I of Border Control Cirebon, which has a role as an intermediary between the community and the office which aims to carry out the socialization plan as a means of disseminating information about government policies, especially in the immigration sector. This paper discusses the concept of work steps and the role of Public Relations of the Immigration Office Class I of Border Control Cirebon in socializing the prevention of Non-Procedural Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) and provides an explanation in the form of a study of some of the problems encountered in the socialization process. This paper used descriptive qualitative method which aims to provide an explanation regarding the role of public relations of the Immigration Office Class I of Border Control Cirebon in socializing the prevention of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) and the obstacles they face. Thus, this paper produces 2 (two) main points that have answered the research problem formulation. First, the Public Relations role of the Immigration Office Class I of Border Control Cirebon in socializing the prevention of PMI Non-Procedural has fulfilled 7 (seven) indicators of success in the public relations communication process. Second, several major obstacles have been found that hindered the socialization process, which then urgently need to be addressed immediately by the Public Relations of the Immigration Office Class I of Border Control Cirebon.

Abstract

Abstract The Foreigners Reporting Application is an online application system that is useful to help and make an ease of foreigners reporting process. For immigration officials, this application can be used as one of data or information in foreigners supervision. A lot of people do not know the purpose of this, including the immigration officials, even some of them think that this application just makes an extra work and waste time. This study aims to determine the benefits of Foreign Reporting Applications in assisting the implementation of foreigners supervision and how the constraints faced in the implementation of Foreign Reporting Applications. The method used is empirical juridical by conducting field research at the Directorate General of Immigration. The results showed that for various reason, hotels/homestays or individual do not run this application, whereas by registering and fill reporting format in the application, they do not have report their guests or visitors to the immigration office, manually. Moreover, immigration offices have not carried out pro-justice, yet to the owners of hotels/homestays or individual that do not do registration, so it does not cause deterrent effect.

Abstract

In carrying out its law enforcement functions, the Directorate General of Immigration has an Immigration Investigation and Enforcement Application (Nyidakim). Nyidakim is an application is used to assist the process of immigration law enforcement in the form of making an inspection report, creating an incident report and so on. One of the problems that exist in the nyidakim system is the problem in providing lost / damaged passport services with the nyidakim application, the Biometric Matching System (BMS) search system which sometimes has problems that takes 10 minutes or so to display, lack of integration with the passport service system on Travel Document section and others. This study uses a qualitative research methodology with descriptive qualitative methods through data collection techniques with observation and interviews. The results showed that the effectiveness of the information system had an effect on information management and the information system itself. If these two things do not go well, obstacles will arise that will hinder the effectiveness of an information system. conclusions that are considered to have succeeded in achieving the research objectives, namely this research has provided an explanation that the nyidakim application at the Class II Non TPI Karawang Immigration Office was carried out well and effectively in helping services for lost or damaged passports and the advice that can be given is that the immigration service process requires accuracy and speed so that the applicant can be satisfied with the performance of the UPT.

Abstract

Bengkulu Province is the prayer center of tourism for foreign tourists. Various tourist objects in the area attract foreign tourists to visit so that the growth of the accommodation business also increases. The increased growth of the accommodation business needs to be integrated with the Foreigner reporting application. This writing aims to analyze the application policy of reporting foreigners at the immigration office using literature and field observation methods. The results of the writing show that the Foreigner Reporting Application provides convenience in carrying out foreigner surveillance activities in the working area of ​​the TPI Bengkulu Class I Immigration Office.

Abstract

With the issuance of a policy regarding passport acceleration services completed on the same day, passport applicants can choose to complete their passport application on the same day the applicant submits the application to be a breakthrough alternative in meeting community needs and realizing immigration into a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area. The latest policy that benefits the community is the passport acceleration service on the same day. The implementation of this policy at the Immigration Office Class I for Non-TPI South Jakarta plays a role in realizing excellent service and eliminating gratuities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of using WhatsApp as a social media in the dissemination of learning information at Immigration Office Class One Special of Non Border Control South Jakarta. This research used quantitative method, more the Associative Causal Relationship Method. The population of this research were all employe of Immigration Office Class One Special of Non Border Control South Jakarta with total population is 176 and the sample are 122 respondens. Research data was collected using a questionnaire and observation. The result of the research from the Hypotesis Test t is significance, the use of WhatsApp as a social media in the coefficients value table is 0,003 smaller than 0,05. The conclution is the use of WhatsApp as a social media gives effect in spreading the Immigration Services Information. The test results of Pearson Correlation Coefficient of the Correlation value is 0,363 which means the level of correlation between the two variables is stong. The result of Determination Coefficient Test, shows the amount of adjusted R square is 0,132, which means the use of WhatsApp as social media has an effect of 13,2% to the dissemination of Immigration Services Information. While the rest (100%-13,2% = 86,8%) is explained by other causes.

Abstract

Immigration checks are one part of the immigration control function which has a strategic role in maintaining security and upholding the country's sovereignty. Along with the times, the implementation of immigration checks has experienced several increasingly complex obstacles and challenges. The use of technology is seen as one of the solutions that can overcome these obstacles and challenges. The Directorate General of Immigration has currently implemented an innovation in the form of autogate which is considered to have provided various benefits, although from the beginning of its implementation, until now autogate has not been able to fully replace the role of immigration officers. This is because immigration checks using autogate are unable to carry out profiling, and interviews with prospective passers at the Immigration Checkpoint, but currently with the discovery of technology in the form of Artificial Intelligence, it is expected to be able to improve the quality of immigration checks with autogate.

Abstract

The application of immigration information technology at the Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) is a very important matter to always be considered and developed in the very long term in the future, one of them is to focus on developing the autogate system. With some literacy regarding immigration information technology at TPI in several countries, it can result in several comparisons between the immigration information technology system in Indonesia with the immigration information technology system in several foreign countries. This can be used as study or learning material in seeing some of the shortcomings or gaps that the immigration technology information system in Indonesia has. The results of the study carried out with this qualitative research method have explained that the immigration information technology system in TPI Indonesia still has several gaps or shortcomings when compared to the existing systems in several other countries. So, it is very necessary to make several further studies or research related to the development of an immigration information technology system at TPI Indonesia that can adapt several existing systems in several countries.

Abstract

Border Control Management System (BCM) which is connected to the Immigration Management Information System (SIMKIM). SIMKIM is an information and communication technology systemused to collect, process, and present information to support operations, management and decision making in carrying out the Immigration Function. This study aims to determine the process of the Border Control Management (BCM) system immigration inspection, and the obstacles faced by the Tanjung Perak Immigration Checkpoint. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants used in this study were 2 informants. The main informant is the head of the TPI Tanjung Perak section. Supporting informants are immigration officials. The immigration check process of the Border Control Management System (BCM) at the Tanjung Perak Immigration Checkpoint is not connected online with the Immigration Management Information System (SIMKIM), it was found that at TPI Tanjung Perak there is no network connecting BCM with SIMKIM online. The obstacles faced are that there is no network that can connect online, and the budget for installing a new internet network can be budgeted next year.
