Abstract

The door is the most important and important part of a room to pay attention to its safety compared to other parts because it is from the door that everyone will enter or leave. This study aims to build a door security device using a Fingerprint sensor based on Arduino Mega 256. The door that will be given a security device is the door in classes at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. This tool can be used as a security control system at the classroom door, users do not need to use manual security such as keys, and this tool is also equipped with an alarm as a marker when the Fingerprint sensor is accessed by someone who is not the owner, this alarm will sound. This system consists of hardware and Software. The hardware consists of an Arduino Uno, Fingerprint sensor, buzzer, Selenoid door, LCD and then the Software on this system uses the Arduino IDE program. This system runs if the Fingerprint sensor detects a finger from the user, the solenoid as a door lock will open. Otherwise, if the sensor does not see a finger from the user, the solenoid as a door lock will not open, and an alarm will sound. This door safety device can effectively be used as security on classroom doors and other rooms such as leadership rooms, education rooms and staff rooms

Abstract

Before performing prayers, Muslims must first take ablution water. So far, the provision of ablution water from mosques and prayer rooms is almost 100% using a faucet that is turned manually, sometimes it is troublesome and water is often wasted (wasteful). Therefore, the purpose of this research is to build a prototype automatic ablution water controller in the form of developing a system with an Arduino-based ultrasonic sensor. The tool that is built based on the prototype will be able to issue ablution water automatically and stop automatically, depending on the limb that is brought close to the end of the pipe that will discharge the water. This monitoring works by using an ultrasonic sensor, where the object under the sensor becomes the input. The ultrasonic sensor will be connected to the Arduino microcontroller which is useful for running this system, which provides information on the relay to activate the mini water pump and release water. So it can be concluded that this system is able to help control the use of ablution water to be more efficient.

Abstract

Barbershop business is a service business that has very bright prospects, considering that this business is needed by everyone, from children, teenagers, adults, to the elderly. The development of this business is certainly influenced by the fact that human hair continues to grow every second. When it is long, the hair will be cut. And, not everyone can cut their hair neatly and nicely, so many people choose to entrust the job to a hairdresser. To run this business, there are many tools and equipment that must be prepared, one of which is a hair clipper. There are many factors to consider when choosing a hair clipper. Therefore, to overcome this problem, the purpose of this study is to determine the sub-criteria in the selection of hair clippers and to choose the right hair shaver. In this study, the method used is the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. This ANP method is a development of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This ANP method is able to accommodate linkages between criteria, sub-criteria or alternatives. From the research that has been done, there are 4 criteria and 8 sub-criteria and 7 alternative choices. Based on the results of data processing, the weights for the criteria are: Price (0.35), Machine Type (0.32), Material (0.13), Function (0.19). While the weights for the alternatives are as follows: Kemei KM-809A Electric Hair Clipper (0.0507), Mitsuyama MS-5022 Professional Trimmer (0.029), Wahl Cordless Magic Clip (0.026), Nova NHC 3788 Professional Rechargeable Trimmer (0.0178), Philips HC3426/ 15 Hair Clipper (0.0156), Harnic HCL-008 Magnetic Hair Clipper (0.0121), Small Mountain STM-A008 (0.0072)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to classify household residents who have access to decent housing that can be occupied by the community by province. In this study, the K-Means Clustering Algorithm is used, which is a method that partitions data into one or more clusters that have the same characteristics as each other based on the results obtained. Sources of data in this study were obtained from the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with the url address https://www.bps.go.id/. The data used in this study is data on the percentage of households that have access to decent and affordable housing according to provinces in 2015-2018, which consists of 34 provinces. The variable used is the average percentage of households that have access to decent and affordable housing by province. The data will be processed by dividing the clusters into 2 parts, namely clusters with low-level status and clusters with high-level status. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide input for the leadership regarding the policy of budget allocation in the APBN to be more effective in contributing to overcoming the problem of decent and affordable housing to live in.

Abstract

Vitiligo is a disease that causes skin color to fade. Besides being able to attack any skin area on the body, this fading can also occur on the inside of the mouth, eyes, and hair. For the general public, to find out a diagnosis of vitiligo, you must consult an expert who is an expert in the diagnosis of this disease. However, the problem that often occurs is the inefficient use of time for experts to serve many patients for consultations so that it is difficult to handle patient problems in an efficient time. So that we need an application that can help, namely an expert system. An expert system is a computer program that contains knowledge from one or more human experts regarding a specific field. Expert systems can solve problems in accordance with the knowledge of an expert that is entered into the system. Expert systems in general are often used to carry out activities to diagnose a problem that only an expert can solve. Fuzzy Sugeno is a method that can be used to obtain the results of a diagnosis on an expert system. The stages of the Sugeno fuzzy method are the formation of fuzzy sets applying the implication function (rules). Rule composition, obtained from a data set of relationships between rules. Defuzzification, the input of defuzzification is a constant or linear equation.

Abstract

Basically the dedecision is a systematic approach to the nature of a problem, gathering facts, determining which mature than the alternative, and taking action according to the calculation is the most appropriate action. Descision makers are often faced with the complexity and scope of decision-making with so much data. For the sake of it, a large part part of the decision-makers to consider the risk benefits or costs, faced with the necessity to realy on a set o systems that sare able to solve the problem efficiently and effectivel, which was then called the Decision Support System(DSS). The working principle of AHP is a simplification of a complex problem that is not structured, strategic and dynamic into its parts, and arrage in a hierarchy. Then the level of importance of each variable given a numerical value subjectively about the importance of these variables in relative terms compared to other variables. From these considerations then do the synthesis to define a variable that has high priority and serves to affect the outcomeof the system. Expert Choiceisa software that can help decision-makers examine and resolve problems involving several evaluation criteria. The software uses a methodology Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP) for modeling decision problem and evaluate alternative desire. Functional Hierarchy with the overall goal area at thehighest level. The lower levels in accordance with the criteria and sub-criteria each used to choose among alternatives.

Abstract

Image improvement is an image processing process that is indispensable to improve poor image quality. Image quality improvement can be used to make it easier to recognize the face of a thief caught by CCTV. One of the methods used to improve image quality is by using the Fast Fourier Transform method. The results of facial image quality improvement using the Fast Fourier Transform method are used to improve the quality of facial images so that the image captured by CCTV can be seen clearly. Thus the campus can more easily recognize the thief's face. To make it easier to solve this problem, image enhancement is carried out using the Fast Fourier Transform method. The process of improving the quality of the face image also uses the VB.Net 2008 program, the inputted data is in the form of a thief's face then processed and produces a better image quality output of the thief's face.

Abstract

Currently, at the Coffee Corner Medan, of course there are many prospective baristas who have different backgrounds, for example, someone who already knows the types of coffee and how to make it, of course the prospective barista is worthy of being a potential barista. In the process of selecting prospective baristas at the coffee corner of Medan, they are still selecting intuitively or feeling and the judging system is still not computerized. Therefore, to make it easier to choose, you can use the computerized Dematel and Waspas methods to get better results. The Dematel method is used to determine the relationship between the performance evaluation criteria used. The dematel method is one of the best methods that can be used to determine and analyze the dominant characteristics of a system. The waspa method is to find the priority of selecting the location that best fits the weighting. In the application of the two-element combination waspas method known as MCDM Mapproaches, WMM and heavy product model (WPM) and initially requires linear normalization of the yield elements. Although it does not guarantee its efficiency, using this method can help decision makers in making decisions more accurately in selecting candidates for barsta in the coffee corner of Medan

Abstract

The research was conducted at CV. ORIGINAL SIANTAR MOTORS that have a problem, namely the lack of sales is a very bad thing for the CV because it results in the economy and the turnover of motorbike sales capital is not good. This problem can be overcome by using the Backpropagation method which is usually used by multilayer networks to minimize errors in the output by testing data using Matlab 6.1. The purpose of this research is expected that using this method can increase the number of sales of motorbikes in each type, and increase the economic income for employees who work at the CV in the form of bonuses. The results of this study are to estimate the highest type of motorcycle sales in 2020 using sales data for 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Abstract

The cooking competition is an annual program of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, a fish cooking competition to introduce the diversity of dishes made from fish to the wider community. In selecting the winner of the cooking competition at the marine and fisheries service, it is still done manually without the role of a computerized system. Often there are mistakes in the selection of winners in cooking fish competitions, namely mistakes in calculations at the marine and fisheries service which are considered less effective and will cause misunderstandings in the future. Judging from these problems, a decision support system is needed. SPK is considered capable of providing solutions in selecting winners of cooking competitions at the marine and fisheries office. In the selection of the provincial level fish cooking competition, the marine and fisheries office uses the BORDA method which is considered capable of carrying out the best alternative selection and selection process so that it will get accurate results in the decisions taken and will assist the marine and fisheries service in selecting the winner of the fish cooking competition. provincial level
