Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding to the community that the role of Qur'an teachers is so great in instilling religious character in children. By analyzing how the efforts made by the teacher in teaching the Qur'an, we will find out how much awareness and responsibility the teacher has in transferring the knowledge that exists in him to his students. The research method used is a qualitative method in a descriptive form, starting from the lack of quality of reading the Qur'an and the morality and willingness of children to study decreased. Qualitative Research is an approach in conducting a study that relies on problems in the field. The results of this study explain that the form of efforts of teachers to study in improving the ability to read the Qur'an in children is: using the talaqqi method, providing facilities without any charges, tadarrus of the Qur'an every day, providing an approach to students specifically so that they feel comfortable in learning, providing motivation and advice in the form, teachers must carry out sincere and patient intentions in providing teaching. In addition, in order to achieve the expected goals, in improving the ability to read the Qur'an, it is necessary to have aspects that support it such as, qualified teachers, teacher cooperation between peers, cooperation of parents of students, good relations with the community, and the provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure. The supporting factor in the form of the teacher's efforts to study is the support of the parents of the students and the community who are in the home environment.

Abstract

Media is one component that is the key to success in the teaching and learning process to achieve learning objectives. In the 21st century, it is often identified with the development of industry 4.0, where technological sophistication is advancing so that it can become a threat to the disappearance of local culture. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of wayang golek learning media in its role for learning achievement and active learning of students in the exemplary material of the Prophet Ibrahim a.s and Prophet Ismail a.s in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) using the Four-D (4D) model. The study population was students of SD at Bintan with the selected sample being class III SDN 001 Teluk Bintan. Collecting data through observation sheets, media and instrument validation, learning achievement questions and learning activity observation sheets. The results of the media trial, the value of learning achievement is seen from its completeness through the KKM and the value of student activity through observation during learning. Based on the trial, it was found that 75% of the students were complete in learning with scores above the KKM and the students seemed to be very active in participating in learning with the wayang golek media.

Abstract

The curriculum is an essential part of the world of education. In general, a curriculum is an educational tool that has the function to achieve learning objectives as well as a guide in carrying out the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this research is to find out the development of Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education subjects in the curriculum that has been implemented in Indonesia (KTSP, K-13, and merdeka belajar curriculum). The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach. Data collection techniques using literature studies and document studies. The results of the study show that several significant differences in the curriculum that have been implemented in Indonesia affect the learning process of Islamic Religious Education. This can be seen in terms of time allocation, goals, learning approaches, etc.

Abstract

There is a disparity in PAI learning outcomes between superior schools and ordinary schools in junior high schools in Karanganyar District. The government overcomes this problem by implementing a zoning system. This study aims to determine the difference in the distribution of PAI learning outcomes between students of SMPN 1 Karanganyar and students of SMPN 5 Karanganyar. The research method used is ex-post-facto. The place of this research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Karanganyar representing previously superior schools and at SMP Negeri 5 Karanganyar representing previously ordinary schools. The population in this study amounted to 1057. The research sample obtained 290 students. The sampling technique used is Stratified Random Sampling and Purposive Sampling. Data collection using the document method. Normality test using chi-square test. The homogeneity of variance test used the Bartlett test and the hypothesis test used the X2 test formula for two independent samples. The results showed that it was evident from the results of X2count dan X2table, 9.147 > 0.00016, then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the distribution of PAI learning outcomes between superior junior high school students and ordinary junior high school students. or it can be said that the interaction effect of school quality and the Acceptance of New Students system on PAI learning outcomes.

Abstract

MAN Batu City is an Islamic school under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion. The problem raised in this research is related to how the procession goes on, and how the people of MAN Kota Batu interpret it. Therefore, the main point of this research is to find out the traditional procession of reciting selected verses before learning and to find the meaning hidden behind this tradition. This research is a research using descriptive method with the Living Qur'an research model whose focus of study lies in the aspect of the use and implementation of the Qur'an in everyday life. Through this research, it is hoped that it can increase the awareness of MAN Batu City residents and readers to always interact with the Koran. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the procession of the tradition of reciting selected verses before learning at MAN in Batu City begins with the recitation of al-Fâtihah, followed by two sentences of creed. Followed by reading Surah al-Baqarah verse 32, Surah Thâhâ verses 25-28 and excerpts from Surah Thâhâ verse 114 which are accompanied by hadiths. In interpreting this tradition, the majority of MAN Batu City residents consider tradition as a form of hope and a request to Allah SWT to be given convenience in all matters, especially in terms of studying.

Abstract

This study examines problems related to marketing management of educational services in improving the image of Islamic educational institutions through non-academic activities, starting from the marketing strategy used, the impact of marketing management strategies on the image of educational institutions and the key to success. This type of research is a field research, which is qualitative descriptive. Data collection methods in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis uses data flow model analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results of this study indicate that: First, the marketing management of educational services in improving the image of educational institutions through non academic activities is carried out by implementing marketing management strategies, namely: (1) Planning by establishing the vision, mission, and goals of education and then identifying the market, market segmentation and positioning, and product differentiation. (2) Organizing is carried out by dividing the existing tasks to educator resources. (3) Actuating, by implementing a planned program using a marketing mix strategy. Then the last one is (4) Controlling. Second, the marketing management of educational services at SMP IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta is proven to have a positive impact in improving the image of Islamic educational institutions through non academic activities, including: (1) Increasing public trust. (2) The establishment of good cooperation between schools and parents as users of educational services. (3) The number of guests for comparative studies. Third, the keys to the success of marketing management of educational services in improving the image of Islamic educational institutions through non-academic activities at SMP IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta are: (1) The products they have are quite varied. (2) The number of achievements in both the academic and non academic fields. (3) SMP IT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta strives to maintain good communication with users of educational services and (4) Adequate educational facilities.

Abstract

This study discusses the epistemological construction of Fazlur Rahman's thoughts regarding its relevance to the Islamic boarding school education model in the modern era. Until now, pesantren education is still faced with a problematic position between 'historical determinism' and 'practical realism'. In reality, pesantren education is still fascinated by the idealization of the golden age of the past Islamic civilization which was so hegemonic. On the other hand, pesantren education is also encouraged to be able to accept today's demands, especially those that come from Western ideas with a very practical orientation. Fazlur Rahman as an Islamic reformer has views on the historical journey of Islamic education, so he criticizes the traditionalization of knowledge in Islamic history with a neo-modernist style of thought. Fazlur Rahman's biggest contribution to Muslims is the overhaul of epistemological conceptions which has caused Muslim people's thinking to be old-fashioned, puritanical and dichotomous in solving problems, which has resulted in Muslims finding it difficult to think synthetically, elastically and pragmatically. In this case, Fazlur Rahman has provided an alternative way of thinking for Muslims in today's modern era, especially in the world of Islamic education.

Abstract

Multiculturalism is the realization that several different cultures can live in the same environment and mutually benefit. Indonesia is a very diverse nation, it cannot be denied. Indonesia's diversity is not only reflected in the number of islands united under the rule of one country, but also in the diversity of skin color, language, ethnicity, religion and culture. From a sociological perspective, religion is understood as a belief system attached to certain patterns of social behavior. Religion influences human experience both as individuals and as groups. Therefore, the behavior of individuals or groups is related to the belief system of the religious teachings they adhere to. Different religious views can lead to bigotry and isolation from other views in society. Then religion can cause internal and external conflicts which in the end can harm society itself.

Abstract

This study seeks to provide a detailed analysis of the progression of religious moderation in adolescents. This study employs a descriptive methodology. The approach of literature review was employed for data collecting. The collected data include hypotheses, empirical evidence, and documentation pertaining to the cultivation of religious moderation among adolescents. Data analysis utilizes interactive analysis, which is a method derived from the outcomes of inquiries and responses, written records, and conclusions to enhance comprehension. The cultivation of religious moderation among youths is a valuable resource for the state's future. Indonesia, as the largest Islamic country globally, should serve as an example for other nations in fostering genuine unity and moderation among teenagers. This is particularly crucial for Islamic Religious Education instructors, who have the responsibility of meeting this need. The responsibility of Islamic religious education teachers is to cultivate a mindset that is moderate and non-radical, and to address all issues in a balanced and inclusive manner.

Abstract

The objective of this work is to juxtapose the educational ideologies of Fazlur Rahman and Ibnu Khaldun. Indeed, these two individuals hold contrasting perspectives on Islamic education. Fazlur Rahman, an Islamic reformer, holds a philosophical perspective on the historical progression of Islamic education. Fazlur Rahman has contributed alternative ideas for Muslims in the contemporary period, particularly in the realm of Islamic education. Rahman views education as primarily focused on the hereafter and mostly defensive in nature, aiming to protect Muslims against the impact of Western culture that poses a challenge to traditional Islamic ethics. Islamic education plays a crucial role in uplifting the most disadvantaged segments of society by addressing poverty, ignorance, social inequity, and helplessness. Conversely, Ibn Khaldun, a prominent Islamic intellectual who greatly impacted the advancement of science, regarded education as a means to safeguard the future of society. According to Ibnu Khaldun, the primary obstacle in education is in the ability to cultivate high-caliber human capital.
