Abstract

Chili (Capsicum annum L.) is one of the priority needs for consumption by the Indonesian people in general. With these factors, the soaring price of chilies can not be avoided anymore, one of the factors is the attack of pests and diseases of chili plants. Therefore it is necessary to take appropriate and quick action so that pests and diseases attack on chili plants do not spread widely. However, manual spraying has a weakness that is the time needed by farmers for longer, physical fatigue and exposure to pesticides can endanger the health of farmers in the short and long term. Therefore spraying pesticides electronically can be a solution to this problem. The testing process can be seen from the top of the leaves affected by the disease, then the results of this study can design a system for automatic spraying of pesticides based on the type of disease that attacks by using the Internet of Things and the wifi module ESP8266. The overall results of the trial can be concluded that in testing 10 trials determine the automatic spraying of pesticides 100% success indicator. And Quality of Service for sending value during the trial with index value 3 (satisfactory).

Abstract

One technology that is experiencing rapid development is digital image processing. Digital image processing is a scientific discipline that studies image processing techniques. The use of image management is increasing and is used in various fields, one of them in the field of robotics can be applied as an object detector. Image management is chosen in terms of detection because it is able to recognize objects and colors quickly. In the field of robotics these advantages are used to control robots to navigate, one example is in soccer robots. Soccer robots must be able to detect the presence of the ball to find and carry the ball and kick it towards the goal. The ball in the match system has been determined with a definite color, in this case it is orange. Therefore, the robot must be able to detect the orange ball to detect it. In detecting the ball, the parameters produced in this system are the distance of the robot to the ball, the angle of direction of the ball and also the ball according to the color or not. To solve this problem in this study using a method that is processing the RGB image produced by the camera into HSV after which color filtering is done and then finished using the find contour method. The results of this study noted the accuracy of the system in tracking ball objects by 92.87 percent at the distance of the ball to the camera and 88.19 percent at the angle of direction of the ball to the ball. The level of accuracy is due to the position of the camera when shooting.

Abstract

Almost all industries use induction motors as production aids, this is due to several reasons, namely, the resulting rotational speed is constant, the induction motor does not have a brush so that the friction loss can be reduced, and easy maintenance. In this study is to detect damage to the stator winding caused by lamination of the windings so that a short circuit occurs in one phase, which is also called a turn fault. The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method is used to detect currents with a load of 0%, and 100% which will later be detected for classification on the Neural Network (NN). Categorizing the level of loading and the level of damage experienced by induction motors, namely turn to turn u1, turn to turn u1 and v1, and turn to turn u1, v1 and w1. The reading of the test results conducted on the Neural Network has good prediction results because the Mean Squared Error (MSE) produced does not exceed the specified 5% erracy level.

Abstract

This study discusses monitoring and control systems. Energy use in buildings or high-rise buildings based on IoT. In general, standard buildings are designed and built without regard to automation with supporting technology, namely a system installed to control and monitor the building services responsible for lighting, cooling, electricity. and others IOT-based energy monitoring and control using two serial communication systems run together which are managed by the Blink application using two micro controllers in one package, one microcontroller for monitoring and detecting how much electrical energy is used continuously with fixed looping and another microcontroller for sensor control, so that the automation system can turn on and turn off the electrical energy that is supplied to each floor. Lined serial communication systems are used to ensure system continuity, by using this communication system the control can be done right The results obtained from the process are monitoring and controlling energy both AC lights or other usage in real time

Abstract

Work clothing is a type of clothing that is used specifically by a company or agency to perform a job for the benefit of the company. One of them is the work clothes worn by the substation and transmission maintenance team of PT. PLN (PERSERO). In the design and uniform provisions for transmission substation maintenance teams have been regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia Number Per.08 / Men / Vii / 2010 concerning Personal Protective Equipment. The whole body must be covered by work clothes, SNI standard worker helmets, gloves and shoes. The entire body of the maintenance team must be protected to create security in carrying out the work of securing the area around the substation and transmission tower. In carrying out the work of substation and transmission maintenance teams are often exposed to direct sunlight. So that the maintenance team often feels stifling when working in a high enough ambient temperature, coupled with the uniform covering the whole body causes discomfort to the substation maintenance team and transmission due to excessive sweating. Meanwhile, work clothes that cover the whole body are an obligation for the safety of workers. From this research, the results of the cooling system for the field service for the maintenance team of PT. PLN PERSERO Based on Arduino Nano. The system design in the program uses the C programming language with Arduino software.The idea is to execute the design system, using the ATMega 328p microcontroller as a design control system with a DHT 11 sensor as a temperature sensor which will then activate the cooling fan as a cooling system and the buzzer as an indicator of high working environment temperature. Design system performance supported by 18650 battery power source.

Abstract

The development of automation technology has now been felt in all aspects of human life. The convenience and security offered in technology also has a positive impact, especially in the aspect of electrical energy. Public Street Lighting (PJU) is a means of street lighting provided by the Government to improve or optimize road equipment facilities in the form of street lighting tools in order to realize safety, security, order and smoothness of traffic as well as convenience for road users in traffic. Frequent blackouts and lack of supervision are inconveniences for public road users. monitoring technology for battery lighting and public street lighting (pju) with this microcontroller-based telegram information system is designed to make it easier to monitor and monitor if the lights go out at night or there is a problem with the battery that can be fixed immediately, the results can be seen by the sensor ( LUX) which is used as an automatic switch that can turn off the lights during the day and turn on the lights at night. And also equipped with an automatic sensor switch (PIR) which if the vehicle is not detected the automatic light will dim and vice versa, if detected with a distance of 8 meters the vehicle automatically lights up. Can inform technicians by telegram of damage to lights and batteries on the road. This is done to increase comfort, efficiency, transportation safety and also to develop technological systems to be more innovative.

Abstract

A boiler is a vessel used to produce water vapor which will be used as heating or propulsion. In the process industry, there are usually boilers that can produce steam to be used to transfer heat to a process. The steam produced by this boiler comes from water that is fed to the boiler and then boiled. After being raised at a certain temperature, the steam is ready to flow to the plant, such as a heater or turbine. In the process of converting water into steam, there are often problems so that the output is not what you want, such as the volume of water that is too large or below the setpoint. The volume of water that does not match the setpoint will cause many problems such as overpressure and overheat which causes the vapor pressure not to the desired specifications. In addition, failure in the control process can also result in system failure which can be fatal, such as damage to the vessel due to poorly controlled feed water which can even cause an explosion because the vessel is not strong enough to withstand the pressure generated [1]. The problems that arise at this time are the Fuzzy method in the Water Level Control System prototype to adjust the long time parameters and poor control accuracy, one of the efforts that is still very likely to be developed is; build an optimization method to solve the complexity of the optimization process, adjust the value of Fuzzy control parameters for a short time and have good control accuracy. The right method is the Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA).
