Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of strenuous physical activity on the sum of leukocytes. The study used experimentally with the posttest only control group design approach. The study subjects of 10 male mice were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was not given heavy physical activity and the treatment group was given heavy physical activity. On the 27th day of blood retrieval for an examination of the sum of leukocytes in the Integrated Biomedical Laboratory, in July-August 2020. The mean on the sum of leukocytes increased in the treatment group compared to the control group. The Mann Whitney test showed that the sum of leukocytes in the control group was significantly different from the treatment group with a value of p = 0.009 (p <0.05). More research is needed on strenuous physical activity in IL-6 levels and calculates leukocytes as one of the study boosters. This research can be used as a reference in the control of the immune system of the body.

Abstract

Balita merupakan anak dibawah umur 5 tahun dan masuk dalam golongan rawan gizi. Gizi buruk merupakan bentuk keparahan terjadinya kekurangan gizi yang terjadi secara menahun. Salah satu faktor penyebab gizi buruk adalah faktor geografis. Regresi Logistik merupakan analisis yang digunakan untuk mencari hubungan variabel respon dan prediktor, namun hasil pemodelannya kurang tepat apabila data juga mengandung spasial, sehingga analisis yang tepat untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah Geographically Weighted Logistic Regression (GWLR). Metode GWLR digunakan untuk menganalisis data spasial dimana karakteristik masing-masing wilayah dipertimbangkan. Variabel yang digunakan adalah gizi buruk balita usia 0-59 bulan (Y), persentase bayi tidak mendapat vitamin A, persentase bayi mendapat ASI eksklusif, penduduk miskin (X3). Pada variabel respon, gizi buruk balita usia 0-59 bulan dengan kategori biner yaitu 0 dan 1 mengikuti distribusi Bernoulli. Dalam penelitian ini membandingkan 3 fungsi pembobot kernel yaitu Adaptive Gaussian, Adaptive Bisquare dan Adaptive Tricube. Pemilihan model terbaik menggunakan nilai AICc terkecil. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu model GWLR dengan fungsi pembobot kernel Adaptive Gaussian lebih tepat digunakan dimana nilai bandwith optimum yang dihasilkan yaitu 19 dengan nilai CV sebesar 7.361 dan nilai AICc yang dihasilkan adalah 31.9082.

Abstract

Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) merupakan salah satu indikator ekonomi penting yang dapat memberikan informasi mengenai perkembangan harga barang/jasa yang dibayar oleh konsumen di suatu wilayah. Penghitungan IHK ditujukan untuk mengetahui perubahan harga dari sekelompok tetap barang atau jasa yang umumnya dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat setempat. Dalam metode yang digunakan dalam pemodelan data runtun waktu memiliki syarat khusus yaitu yang teridentifikasi efek heteroskedastisitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui model terbaik peramalan periode berikutnya serta hasil prediksi periode mendatang. Variabel yang digunakan adalah data Indeks Harga Konsumen dalam bulan. Sehingga untuk mengatasi permasalahan pada data penelitian ini digunakan metode Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH GARCH). Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan metode ARCH GARCH model terbaik yang digunakan adalah ARIMA (1,1,1)~GARCH (1,0). Dengan prediksi dari volatilitas dengan nilai standar deviasi 0.98283514 diperoleh prediksi volatilitas terendah sebesar 0.9632546 dan prediksi volatilitas tertinggi sebesar 0.9980155.

Abstract

The human development index (HDI) is a measure to see an increase in regional development that has a very broad dimension, because it increases the quality of the population of an area in terms of life expectancy, education, and decent standard of living. In 2010 the Central Java HDI increased by 66.08% and increased by 4.44%, with the total HDI in 2017 of 70.52 percent. Spatial regression is the development of classical linear regression involving the region model. Spatial regression ensemble is a technique to be sent spasi spatial regression models by adding noise (additive noise). The type of spatial weighting used is Queen Contiguity. The selection of the best model using AIC and RMSE values. The purpose of this study is to provide an assessment of the distribution of HDI data in the Province of Central Java in 2017 and to do modeling using non-hybrid spatial ensemble regression regression. The results of this study are the SAR spatial method with ensemble giving results with AIC value of 143 and RMSE value of 1.3899 with a value of 90.09%. Significant variables on HDI are population density (X1), poverty (X2), school participation rates (X5), and average per capita per month for food and non-food (X7).

Abstract

Dragonfly or odonata is one of the biodiversity in Indonesia. Dragonfly act as bioindicator of aquatic ecosystem and predator for mosquitoes. Dragonfly habitat is usually in a watery place such as a river. This study purpose to identify and characteristic dragonflies in the Rusunawa field. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research, which aims to determine the morphology of dragonflies with Orthetrum sabina type and to know the environmental factors that affect dragonfly breeding. The method used in this study is roaming, by searching for dragonflies in the Rusunawa field Jerakah. The dragonfly population found in the Jerakah field is mostly one of which is Orthetrum sabina which has a dark green thoracic characteristic with black lines on the lateral side and black legs. The abdomen is slim in black and white, the embellant is white and has transparent wings. The number of dragonflies is influenced by several factors, namely temperature, climate, air humidity, water ph and insecticide use.

Abstract

HIV / AIDS is a contagious disease that can attack all age groups of the population and is a health challenge in almost all over the world including Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to model HIV / AIDS cases for the factors that are suspected to influence them. One suitable method for estimating factors that influence HIV / AIDS is the Generalized Additive Model for Location, Scale, and Shape (GAMLSS). The GAMLSS method is flexible because it includes expansion of a good exponential family distribution to handle overdispersion data, continuous data, and discrete data. This research will apply GAMLSS semiparametric modeling with LOESS smoothing to find out the characteristics and models of HIV / AIDS cases in East Java in 2017. Based on the analysis, it was found that the variables that significantly affected were the number of homeless people, number of victims of drug abuse, population poor, and the number of fertile age couples using condom contraception with AIC value of 437,404, degree = 1 and span = 0.3, and the distribution used is Negative Binomial I.

Abstract

One of the indicators of the success of social welfare development in Central Java was decreasing the population of people with social welfare problems (PMKS). One exertion that can be done was grouping or clustering the areas in Central Java-based on 26 indicators of PMKS. Fuzzy Geographically Weighted Clustering (FGWC) algorithm is a clustering analysis that observing the effect of the area. However, FGWC has a limitation in the initialization centroid phase that makes it trapped to local optimal. The limitation can be addressed with the Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA) approach. The purpose of GSA was to optimize the value objective function. This research applied FGWC-GSA on PMKS in Central Java Province contained 26 indicators. Some validity indexes were applied to determine the best cluster. This research clustering the areas of Central Java into two clusters. The first cluster contained 24 districts and cities, and the second cluster contained 11 districts

Abstract

The spread of Covid-19 since April 2020 has had a high number of cases and / or number of deaths and this can spread to various regions and countries. So that the Indonesian government issued a large-scale social restriction regulation. This will have an impact on sectoral aspects in Indonesia. Therefore this study was made with the aim of knowing the effect of Covid-19 on the sectoral stock index trend and how it affects them. The data used are monthly data on sectoral stock index prices (11 sectors) from January 2010 to March 2020 (before covid-19) and April to October 2020 (ongoing covid-19). Based on a comparison between the regression coefficients before and the onset of Covid-19, it can be seen that the sectors not affected by Covid-19 are basic industry, consumer industry, development, finance, manufacturing, other industries, property and trade. The absence of covid-19 influence on the sector is evidenced by the existence of a slice between the regression coefficients between before and during covid-19. The agriculture, infrastructure and mining sectors were affected by Covid-19. The infrastructure sector has experienced a trend change from rising to being stagnant. Meanwhile, the agricultural and mining sectors experienced a trend change from down to up.

Abstract

In the processing of chips using cassava (Manihot utilissima), it will produce waste in the form of solid and liquid waste. The liquid waste of processing cassava chips contains organic compounds that are easily decomposed and cause unpleasant odors. If the liquid waste is discharged directly into the environment, it will cause pollution and damage the environment. One of the steps that can be used to overcome this problem is phytoremediation. The purpose of this study was to determine the best treatment in the processing of cassava chips industrial wastewater so that the liquid waste is safe to dispose of into the environment. In this study, using two types of aquatic plants, namely water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) and kiambang (Pistia stratiotes) and using alum to remediate liquid waste. This research was conducted experimentally using a jar with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 25 cm with 3 repetitions of each treatment. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to determine the best treatment that can be used for remediation of cassava chips industry wastewater. The results showed that the use of water hyacinth plants (Eichhornia crassipes) could improve the quality of wastewater so that it is safe to dispose of into the environment.
