Abstract

Developments in areas such as roads, buildings, bridges, canals, and other developments are currently developing in the Purwodadi area. One of the jobs, namely the excavation process with a large scale of work, needs to be taken into account in terms of time, cost, and selection of equipment types. During the project, the costs incurred must also be taken into account. This is necessary to complete the work more easily, quickly, and efficiently. Dump trucks are medium to long-distance material transport vehicles. This research aims to determine the dump truck's productivity, the work's budget, and the time required to complete the regular excavation work for STA 8+450 – 8+500 on the BTS BLITAR/MALANG SP 5 PURWODADI road construction project. The research method used is a survey and observation method during the project and calculating the estimated Budget Plan for the rental of heavy equipment Dump Trucks. The results obtained are the number of heavy equipment used in carrying out ordinary excavations and embankments is two units of Dump Trucks with a capacity of 4 m3 with each productivity of 52 m3/hour, which requires 617 cycles to transport material from the excavation area to the stockpile area. Based on the analysis, the estimated cost for the heavy equipment budget for dump trucks is Rp. 5,610.000,00 (Five Million Six Hundred and Ten Thousand Rupiah).

Abstract

Rain that falls on the ground is one of the water sources that must be preserved. Great haste can also result in catastrophes, so a mapping estimate is required to determine the flow in a few years using a geographic information system and the isohyet approach with the Arcview application. This investigation’s stage is searching for data in SHP format in the Kediri metropolitan area. The area is plotted using the IDW method by entering precipitation data and coordinates. Then the rainfall relief according to the BMKG classification is obtained using the isohyet approach mapping, indicating that the maximum rainfall level for 2017-2021 will be rather high to moderate. Illustrates a trend in annual maximum rainfall loss.

Abstract

Construction of irrigation canals in the Batang Sinamar area, Sumatra, is carried out in the highlands. The soil on the slope is known to have soft soil consistency. So, it is necessary to analyze the reinforcement design for slopes with soft soil conditions to avoid problems in the future. In this plan, design analysis is carried out using soil nailing, which is planned with different depths, namely 8 meters and 10 meters. Reinforcement analysis will be carried out with the FEM program. From the analysis results, a comparison of the effectiveness of the design will be carried out in terms of cost analysis and the method of implementation. From the analysis results, it was found that the length of soil nailing of 8 meters was more effective in terms of the safety factor value, cost analysis, and duration of the implementation method.

Abstract

TThe foundation is part of the structure that directly functions to transmit the load from the weight of the structure above it to the ground. In this study, a rectangular foundation is used which is placed on clay soil with 3 variations in dimensions and 7 variations in eccentricity loading. This data will be used in finding the ultimate bearing capacity value. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of eccentricity loads on the bearing capacity of rectangular foundations on clay soil types. The method used is the Meyerhof method (1963). The results obtained are the magnitude of the value of the bearing capacity of the foundation in each variation of its dimensions which is influenced by the eccentricity of the load. The conclusion of this study is that the bearing capacity of the foundation can be viewed from the coordinates of the axis of the foundation which is affected by the eccentricity of the load. The greater the eccentricity of the load received by the y-axis, the greater the value of the ultimate bearing capacity of the foundation. Meanwhile, the greater the eccentricity load received by the x-axis, the smaller the ultimate bearing capacity value.

Abstract

Construction processes, particularly floor slab systems, can be executed using precast/precast methods as technology advances. Compared to traditional methods, which need more time and production expenses, precast/precast methods are more cost-effective for floor slab formwork, neater, and have a more consistent finish. This study is based on an eight-floor building project with 92 residential units on a 3,500 m2 plot of land and a 1,700 m2 building size. This investigation used two technologies: conventional precast slab and full slab precast. The purpose of this research is to compare the most cost-effective strategy for reducing production costs on floor slab work for the construction of the case study. Based on the calculation results, the full slab precast method is 14.31% or around Rp. 980,508,000 is more economical than the conventional method. For the conventional method, the total cost is Rp. 3,914,657,000 while for the precast method, the result is Rp. 2,934,149,000.

Abstract

Currently, the transportation mode which connects Jombang City to Babat City in Lamongan Regency on trip is still using bus. This current transportation mode is under appropriated to serving passengers because there are lack of comfortable, unclean, and long headway time approximately 2 – 3 hours for a same routes. Based on these problems, research about intermodal transportation and modal choice probability is suitable. Intermodal transport is designed to revitalize train routes from Jombang to Babat City. A modal choice probability study obtains the number of predicted passengers which can be switched from the existing transportation mode (bus) to the designed transportation mode (train) by using the Stated Preference method. By creating intermodal transportation, obtained train circulation time plan was 303,49 minutes, the headway time plan was 118,6 minutes, the rolling stock plan requirements are three sets of trains and the ticket price plan is IDR 11.500/passenger. According to the difference between train and bus ticket price when the price of train ticket is lower than bus the result of modal choice probability is 0,88. According to the difference between train and bus travel time when train travel time is faster by 42 minutes than bus the result is 0,87. Then due to departure frequency between train and bus when the number of train departures is more thanfive times per day, the probability analysis results is 0,83.

Abstract

Passenger Car Equivalent (PCE) is a conversion factor from various types of vehicles into passenger car units (pc). The PCE value in the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines called PKJI 2014 has a long period with the present. The purpose of this study is to prove that there is a change in current traffic characteristics with the traffic characteristics described in the PKJI 2014. To prove this, the study was conducted by comparing road performance using the PCE MC value according to the PKJI 2014 with research that has been done previously with the results of PCE MC using the modified average headway time method showing 0.17 results. The location of this research was carried out on the Rungkut Madya road (2/2 UD), Surabaya City, East Java, Indonesia. The results obtained from this study are the use of PCE MC according to the PKJI 2014, resulting in a theoretical speed value close to the actual speed value compared to using modified PCE MC. So that the calculation of the performance of the Rungkut Madya road or other roads with similar characteristics does not require modification of the PCE MC value.

Abstract

Population growth and economic development in Indonesia affect the increase in the volume of vehicles. In the era of the pandemic, Indonesia's population growth has increased, so the need for vehicles also increases. The increase in the volume of vehicles, causes congestion in various areas. The WFH (Work From Home) policy, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, has reduced the use of vehicles in traffic. Two years after the pandemic, in 2022, the volume of vehicles in traffic will be higher due to activities that have started to return to normal. The abolition of the WFH (Work From Home) policy has resulted in school offices, tourist attractions, and other infrastructure making the activities of the Indonesian people and economy rise slowly. Although the economy in Indonesia has not increased significantly or can be called unstable, the purchasing power of motorized vehicles has increased. From the results of the research carried out above, it is known that the capacity of Darmo road and Pemuda road has increased the DS value (degree of saturation) in the post-pandemic period compared to the pandemic conditions during the PSBB period. The increasing community activities caused the increased DS value (degree of saturation). This resulted in traffic on Jalan Darmo, Pemuda, and Ahmad Yani becoming more congested than during the pandemic.
