Abstract

This paper explains the comparison 4-foot Base Transceiver Station (BTS) towers between type v bracing and type x bracing in terms of strength and economic aspects using SAP 2000 applications. As technology develops, people's desire for good telecommunications technology is enhancement. The writer analyzes the tower with type v bracing and type x bracing using the SAP 2000 application. BTS towers are used with a height of 25 meters, width of 6 meters, length of 6 meters, height of each segment of 2.5 meters. Then analyze the strengths using the SAP 2000 application based on the TIA / EIA 1991 standard with displacement not exceeding H/200. After the SAP 2000 application is finished running, the results of the building's own weight output are used for economic comparisons. The results of type v bracing analysis obtained a displacement of 0.4 millimeters with a building own weight of 123.668 KN. The result of type x bracing analysis obtained a displacement of 0.6 millimeters with a building weight of 143,440 KN. The results of this analysis recommend the BTS tower to use type v bracing instead of using type x bracing.

Abstract

Gedung Kuliah Bersama was modified into ten floors, constructed using precast pretension slabs, namely hollow core slabs on the second to five floors and cast in situ slabs, namely steel deck on floors six to ten. Gedung Kuliah Bersama is located at the UPN “Veteran” East Java in the city of Surabaya. Geologically and tectonically, Surabaya City is in an active fault zone, so that the tectonic activity that occurs can cause damage to building structures and construction materials. Pushover analysis is an analysis that can be used to determine the pattern of structural collapse when an earthquake occurs. Based on the results of the analysis, precast pretension slabs (hollow core slabs) with segments of 1500 mm × 7000 mm × 150 mm with PC Wire reinforcement ϕ7-121 mm and cast in situ (steel deck) slabs with a thickness of 120 mm with wiremesh reinforcement M8-150 mm. The difference in the bending strength of the two types of slabs is 38.73%. The results of the pushover analysis show that the structural performance at the Damage Control (DO) level shows that the building is able to withstand the earthquake that occurs and the risk of casualties is very small.

Abstract

Lamong River is located in East Java Province. The discharge of the Lamong River tends to be large, but it cannot be drained properly, so that the river overflows and causes Gresik Regency to experience flooding almost every year. The existing condition of the Lamong River is not able to accommodate the flood discharge. Therefore, it is planned to build a polder in the flood-prone areas of the Lamong River to accommodate the discharge that occurs. Polder on the Lamong River is planned with an entry discharge into the retention pool of 85% using a pump with a suction capacity of 5 m3 / s and 3 m3 / s. The dimensions of the Polder pond used in pond I are 530 m long, 530 m wide, 8 m deep, II pool size 540 m long, 540 m wide, 8 m deep, pool size III is 550 m long, 550 m wide, depth 8.5 m, the size of pool IV is 580 m long, 580 m wide, 9 m deep, for V pool size is 600 m long, 600 m wide, 9 m deep, and for pool VI size is 600 m long, 600 m wide m, 9 m depth. Each pool has 3 sluice gates with a size of 2 m per door with a door opening height of 1.32 m and a drain dimension of 3 m long, a channel width of 8 m, and a channel height of 3.46 m.

Abstract

Sidoarjo or Lusi mud has an area of 640 ha and an average embankment height of 10 meters and submerges three sub-districts, namely Porong District, Jabon District and Tanggulangin District. In 2018, the Sidoarjo mud embankment has decreased or subsided by up to 8.5 meters at several points, which was caused by the condition of the embankment which was almost full and caused the soil condition of the embankment to become unstable. For this problem, it is necessary to build a drainage channel at the edge of the embankment to overcome the overflow of the embankment and flow it to the Porong river which is on the south side of the Sidoarjo mud embankment. From the calculation of the planned rain discharge, it is found that R2 = 72.95 mm after the planned rainfall is obtained, then the next is to look for the flood discharge plan which then plans the dimensions of the channel on the west and east sides of the embankment after obtaining the dimensions of the channel, then the next is planning the resistance pond and draining it to the porong river. with Siphon Network Pipe

Abstract

The coastline is the meeting area between land and sea. In this area, many are influenced by various natural factors and also human activities, where changes that occur such as climatological effects will have an impact on the existing coastline, as well as human activities in the coastal areas will have an impact on the morphological form of the coast including in it the coastline. This study intends to see which mathematical model is most suitable for describing the changes that have occurred and also to measure how much change occurs each year. The method used in this research is spatial analysis using a geographic information system which is used to analyse the Landsat 8 OLI satellite image of the coastline in Bangkalan Madura district, and to measure satellite imagery for a period of 5 years from 2016 to 2020. The results obtained from this study, the polynomial mathematical model is the most suitable model to describe the process of change, where this model provides maximum results with a significant correlation value of 0.8107 for degree 2 and 0.9323 for degree polynomial 3. From this study It can be concluded that Landsat 8 satellite imagery is suitable for data collection on shoreline changes because this satellite image has sufficient resolution to describe in detail the length of the coastline under study. Changes in the coastline that occur are not linear, but throughout the year there are fairly dynamic changes to the shoreline, both in terms of a shoreline retreat or an addition to the coastline.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a high population density. The increasing population causes an increase in the demand for household needs. As time goes by, human needs are increasing day by day. Starting from primary needs to secondary needs. The city of Surabaya is the second largest metropolitan city after Jakarta with a population of around 2,874,314 people in 2020. With such a large number, of course, it has various kinds of demands to fulfill primary needs, Alfamart and Indomaret as the two largest retail companies in Indonesia are trying to be in the midst of Public. However, the uneven distribution of Alfamart and Indomaret locations causes the public to be often confused about their existence. To meet the need for information dissemination in that location, the system will be made based on mobile web so that the system can be accessed via a mobile smartphone device that is equipped with a GPS (Global Positioning System) so that it can find out the coordinates of the location of Alfamart and Indomaret, namely in the form of latitude and longitude data. This will make it easier for people who want to know the location and know the distance to the intended location and data by utilizing services from Open Camera and Google Maps.

Abstract

Pavement roads in Indonesia often suffer premature damage. Efforts to overcome road damage need to be done by using pavement materials suitable for the climate in Indonesia. This research discusses the comparison of Pertamina asphalt 60/70 and Shell asphalt 60/70 in the concrete asphalt mixture. The variation of the bitumen content used in this study was 4%, 4.5%, 5%, 5.5%. From the test results, it can be concluded that Shell asphalt 60/70 penetration is relatively better in terms of the considerable penetration value, softening point, stability value, flow, and Marshall Quotient, which are higher than Pertamina's 60/70 penetration asphalt.
