Abstract

The purpose of research to discover the effect of telling therapy against anxiety due hospitalization at pre school children in the pediatric ward. The research methodology using a pre-experimental research design, using one group pre-post test design againstone group without control. This research involved 38 respondentso pre school children in the pediatric ward. Result of research is Wilcoxon test results show that z is -5,477, and sig asymp (p-value) is 0,000. With such p-value 0,05, it;s mean there is a significant different in anxiety between before and after the child’s was given play therapy by telling. From the research can be conclusion there is the effect of play therapy of telling against anxiety due hospitalization at pre school children in the pediatric ward.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to describe factors that causes a low number of men as Family Planning acceptor. The research methods that used in this study is consecutive sampling and for the approach used the cross sectional mode. The results of this study showed that from 123 respondents indeed the presence of factors that cause male respondents did not use family planning in Banjar Karang Suwung. Of all existing factors that cause a low number of men that used family planning, the highest percentage was the knowledge factor which the number of the male respondents that had bad knowledge of family planning are 72 persons (58,55%).

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to know the influence of foot gymnastics toward skin moisture on the feet. The method of the research is “Quasy Experiment” with Pre-posttest design without control group each 13 sample was taken by simple random. Skin moisture feet before foot gymnastics = 27.91 % ± 6.28 and after foot gymnastics for six month = 36.04 % ± 8.70. The paired t test can be concluded that foot gymnastics can increase skin moisture on the feet of patients with diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine meaningfull life in cancer patients in hospitals Wangaya Denpasar 2015. Kind of this research used descriptive research,used cross sectional method. This research used purposive sampling technique. Subject of this research is cancer patient, sample this research amounted to 23 people. Research data shows the majority of the 23 respondents have a high level meaningfull of life as much as 14 respondents (60,9 %), 8 respondents (34,8 %) have a middle level meaningfull of life score and 1 respondents (4,3 %) have low level meaningfull life.

Abstract

This Study was aimed at finding out the effect of cooperative learning model on the Basic Care for Physiological Anatomy learning achievement by controlling students’ prior knowledge. This study was a quasi-experimental research using the 2x2 factorial design involving 80 students of the Department of Health Care of Politeknik Kesehatan Denpasar as the sample. The data were analyzed using analysis of covariance. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of play therapy on anxiety among children undergoing chemotherapy in Pudak Ward of General Public Hospital Sanglah Denpasar. This research is a pre-experimental research design with one group pre-test and post-test design. Sample consisted of 20 pediatric cancer patients were selected by purposive sampling, administered questionnaires to measure anxiety RCMAS anxiety then given play therapy. Based on the paired t-test results, obtained significant value (p) = 0.000 which is smaller than α = 0.05 (5%). It can be concluded that there is effect of play therapy on children’s anxiety who undergo chemotherapy in Pudak Ward of General Public Hospital Sanglah Denpasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of occupational therapy with cognitive status in the elderly. This study was designed as retrospective study a comparative studied that conducted on a sample of 60 people are selected for each by simple random sampling. From the analysis found there was relationship between occupational therapy with cognitive state of elderly with Chi-Square scores was 34.2 and p = 0.00 (P 0.05) and OR of 55 at α 0.05 CI: (11141-271509). Which means that elderly people who do not to do occupational therapy 55 times more likely to experience cognitive decline compared to the elderly given occupational therapy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the mother's role in stimulating the development of children in Pustu that Work Area Cemagi health center, district. Mengwi, Badung regency. This study used a quantitative method to approach cross-sectional study. About 110 was taken with total sampling technique. Data collected by questionnaires for 4 months and a variable relationship analysis performed with Spearman Rank Correlation test. The results showed the P value 0.000 less than value = 0:05 so that it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the mother's role in stimulating with the development of children The value coefficient correlation (r) is 0.741 which means to have a very strong correlation. Results of this study can be concluded there is a correlation betwen mother's role in stimulating with the evelopment of the children, and can be used as a handle or a reference by health workers in Pustu Cemagi for the detection of early childhood development.
