Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the marketing mix of services on the satisfaction of members of the Cooperative Savings and Loans Work Purely Medan ". The type of research used is descriptive and quantitative. The research sample of 96 respondents with the method of sampling the maximum sampling error of the population is done randomly. The data needed is collected through a questionnaire. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results obtained by the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.979 means that the service marketing mix is able to explain the satisfaction of members in the Cooperative Savings and Loans Cooperative Medan of 97.9% and 2.1% again influenced by other factors not explained in this study. Regression equation Y = 1,464 + 0,696X¬1 + 1,179X2 + 0,562X3 + 0,471X4-0,366X5 + 0,150X6 + 0,389X7-0,401X8 + ε. F test, where the significant level of 0.000 is smaller than the significant standard of 5% or 0.05, where the F-count is 511,235> F-table is 1.96, it can be concluded that the marketing mix of services has a positive and significant effect on Satisfaction of members of the Savings and Credit Cooperative Karya Murni Medan. T test, stated that product variables, price, place, promotion, and service operations have a positive and significant effect on member satisfaction. Physical evidence variable has positive effect, but it is not significant. The variable person / employee and customer service has a negative effect, but it is significant on member satisfaction. Suggestions, product variables, prices, places, promotions, and service operations have a positive and significant effect on member satisfaction needs to be maintained for member satisfaction. Variable people / employees, and customer service when viewed from the equation of negative regressions, then to overcome them needed improvements to the members' skills, neatness and politeness as well as attractive appearance of employees. Variable physical evidence to be more significant to overcome it requires improvements in the speed of service, speed of information provision, transparency in organizing the Annual Member Meeting and transparency in the election process of the board to achieve member satisfaction. Reviewing the entire system of service marketing mix variables that are member complaints in terms of loan interest rates offered, the length of time between an application and loan disbursement, the mismatch of the loan amount and approved, the amount of administrative costs and the burden of fines on loans.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of compensation, career development and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Tunggal Mitra Plantation Manggala 2. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires carried out on 50 employees of the production department at PT Perkebunan Tunggal Mitra Plantation Manggala 2. Data analysis in this study used SPSS Version 22. The sampling technique used was the saturation sampling method and Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis (multiple regression analysis). Based on the results of the study, obtained the following regression equation: Y = 9,944 + 0.390X1 + 0.115X2 + 0.267X3 + ei means that the F Test shows that compensation, career development, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on statistical data analysis, the indicators in this study are valid and the variables are reliable. Partially (t test) shows that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (tcount 4.223> t table 1.675 and a significant level of 0.000 t table 1.675 and a significant level of 0.010 t table 1.675 and a significant level of 0.042

Abstract

Portfolio Analysis is one of the alternative alternative tools in making investment decisions in stocks. In investing, if it only depends on one type of stock, it is likely that many investors will bear the risk. This stage involves identifying which securities will be chosen to form a portfolio and what proportion of funds will be invested in each of these securities. The selection of these securities (in other words, investors diversify) is intended to minimize the risk borne. The selection of these securities will be influenced by risk preferences, cash needs patterns, and tax status. Investment decisions are decisions taken by investors to allocate the funds they have in the form of certain assets (financial assets) in the hope that they will get economic benefits in the future. If the decision taken is to buy a certain number of shares, then that is expected to get dividends and capital gains if the shares are resold. The main consideration for fund owners (investors) in optimizing investment decisions is to maximize the level of return on investment (risk) for certain investments (Saragih et al., 2006). The making of an investment decision framework largely determines the success of an investor in optimizing the level of investment returns and reducing as little as possible the risks faced (Markowitz, 1952). In connection with the above, the main problem in this study is how to design an optimal portfolio simulation which is a combination of LQ 45 liquid stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research data was conducted on LQ 45 shares during the period March - June 2012. The variables of this study were stock prices, returns, standard deviations of returns. The statistical method used is the F-test for homogeneity of variants. The results showed that only 16 stocks had optimal portfolios. Optimal portfolio, characterized by high return and low risk.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the comparison of the original regional revenue in the Tax Agency and Regional Retribution of Medan City for the 2016-2018 fiscal year. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Medan City. The analytical tool used is the percentage comparison analysis. The results showed that for: (a) for the 2017/2016 fiscal year showed that the realization of regional tax increased by 24.22 percent, regional retribution decreased by 2.03 percent, revenue from the management of separated wealth areas decreased by 31, 88 percent, and other legitimate local revenues decreased by 25.72 percent. (b) for the fiscal year 2018/2017 shows that the realization of regional tax has decreased by 6.27 percent, regional retribution has decreased by 24.76 percent, income from the management of separated regional wealth has increased by 95.26 percent, and others- other legitimate local revenues increased by 8.39 percent

Abstract

This study aims to predict financial distress through the variable lancer ratio, return on assets and debt to equity ratio since 1, 2 and 3 years before it occurs in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study population was all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and by using purposive sampling, a sample of 66 companies was obtained. The data analysis method used is logistic regression. The results showed the current ratio variable, return on assets and debt to equity ratio, together had a significant effect on the probability of financial distress for one, two and three years before it occurred in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange since one, two and three before it occurs at α = 5 percent. The level of prediction accuracy of the effect of financial ratio information on the probability of financial distress on companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange since one, two and three years before experiencing financial distress occurred respectively was 97.0 percent, 77.3 percent and 74.2 percent. The current ratio variable and the debt to equity ratio partially do not significantly influence the probability of financial distress for one, two and three years before it occurs, whereas the debt to equity ratio partially has a positive and significant effect on financial distress for one, two and three years before it occurs in companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of Service Quality, Price Perception and Brand Image on Customer Satisfaction of The User of Online Transportation (Case on The User of GrabBike in Medan). Data collection empasys a sample of 100 from 32 items using Likert Scale standard of measurement. In this research, free variables consist of service quality, price perception, and brand image. Bound variable is customer satisfaction. Testing includes test the validity, reliability test and assumptions classic. While the method of data analysis used multiple linear regression.The result of ttest showed that the service quality, price perception and brand image has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. The results of signification value for each variable, both variables X and variable Y is above the alpha value (0.05), resulting in acceptance of H1and H0rejection. The result of F test showed that the service quality, price perception and brand imageworked togetherto gave positive and significant contribute on customer satisfaction.In accordance with a multiple linear regression equation, Y = 2,689 + 0,106 X1 + 0,133X2 + 0,141X3 +e. So in essence, variable X has a significant effect at customer satisfaction.The result of this research were brand image has the highest significant effect to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of socioeconomic factors and work motivation on the work performance of the CU Cinta Kasih Tigapanah Cooperative Karo District employees. The sampling technique used is Proportional Random Sampling. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression. From the results of data processing, socioeconomic factors were found to have a positive and significant effect on the work performance of the CU Cinta Kasih Tigapanah Cooperative employees in Karo District. T test results show that the socio-economic variable variable 2,819> t table 1,668 and with a significant level of 0.009 t table 1,668.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence employee job satisfaction at PT Astra Medan Branch. The benefits of research help provide input to the leadership of the company in determining policies for the progress of PT Astra Medan Branch and can be used as reference material in enriching and deepening science. The number of samples was 105 respondents, the types of data used were primary and secondary data, and the method of data collection through questionnaires and documentation, the method of data analysis used factor analysis. The results showed that the KMO Measure of Sampling Adequacy (MSA) figure of 0.825 was above 0.50, with a significance of 0,000, so the variables were worthy of further analysis. Scree plot shows the graph, where from factor 1 to factor 2 (source line component number = 1 to 2), the direction of the line decreases sharply. Then from number 2 to number 6, the direction of the line is still decreasing with slope getting smaller. The seventh to twenty-first factors are below the number of the Y axis (eigenvalues). This shows that the six factors are best for summarizing the twenty-one factors that influence employee job satisfaction at PT Astra Medan Branch. The dominant factors affecting job satisfaction of employees of PT Astra Medan Branch are incentives or bonuses, work policies and procedures, promotion of positions, intrinsic of work, social security and official vehicles. The most dominant factor influencing employee job satisfaction is incentives or bonuses. Suggestions that are recommended to company leaders should the company increase the amount of incentives or bonuses, pay attention to the establishment of work policies and procedures, maintain the provision of social security and official vehicles. The company should provide the greatest opportunities for employees with the best performance to be promoted to higher positions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of credit risk as measured by non-performing loans, the level of capital adequacy as measured by the capital adequacy ratio, debt as measured by debt to equity ratio, and interest income as measured by net interst margin on the level of profitability as measured by return on assets in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research is classified as causative research. The population in this study were all banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011 to 2015. While the sample of this study was determined by purposive sampling method so that 24 sample companies were obtained. The type of data used was secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with a significance level of 5%. The partial test results show that credit and debt risk have a negative and significant effect on profitability, capital adequacy has no effect on profitability, interest income has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Simultaneous test results show that credit risk, capital adequacy, debt, and interest income affect profitability. Therefore, banks consider the factors of credit risk, capital adequacy, debt and interest income in the context of achieving the expected profit level by taking into account the quality of credit distribution, cultivate capital well and use capital effectively, debt that is made into productive assets is well managed, as well as maintaining loan interest rates offered so as to generate high capital.
