Abstract

The main problem of adolescent reproductive health (KRR) in Indonesia, is the lack of information on reproductive health, the problem of shifting adolescent sexual behavior, poor health services and unsupportive legislation. The problem of adolescents in the Bandar Khalifah Health Center Work Area is that there are 103 teenagers who dropped out of school because of early marriage. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors related to adolescent knowledge about reproductive health at Gema Buana High School, with a correlation analytic research design. The population and sample were 72 high school students. The results showed that there was a relationship between the role of parents (p = 0.012), the role of peers (p = 0.000) and sources of information (0.030) with adolescent knowledge about reproductive health. For this reason, it is suggested to Gema Buana High School to establish PIK-KR as a means for students to gather information about reproductive health.

Diabetes Mellitus is a long-term disease characterized by abnormal blood glucose levels. DM can cause several complications, one of which is Diabetic neuropathy which contributes to the occurrence of wounds, causing dry skin, anhidrosis; which makes it easier for the skin to become damaged and wounds that are difficult to heal and can cause infections that contribute to gangrene. To overcome this problem, people with diabetes mellitus must have knowledge about diabetic wounds which include early detection and prevention of diabetic foot wounds. This type of research is analytic with a cross sectional study design with the aim of knowing the relationship between knowledge about diabetic wounds and wound prevention measures in patients with diabetes mellitus at Puskesmas Kenangan. The population in this study were all DM patients who were treated at the Puskesmas Kenangan who had not experienced gangrene complications as many as 25 people with a sample of 25 people, the sample was taken by total sampling. The results of the study. Knowledge of the majority of diabetic wounds was less as many as 15 people (60%) and the majority of wound prevention measures were bad as many as 19 people (76%). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between the knowledge of people with diabetes mellitus about diabetic wounds and wound prevention measures, indicated by the P value = 0.000 (p <0.05), meaning that there is a relationship between the respondent's knowledge and wound prevention measures. To add insight and knowledge about diabetic wounds and how to prevent injuries, it is recommended for DM patients to take part in counseling about diabetic wounds held both at the puskesmas and other health facilities. Abstract

High Maternal Mortality Rate can also be related to anemia. The results of Riskesdas 2018 show that the proportion of anemia in pregnant women from 2013 to 2018 has increased by 11.8%, in 2013 it showed the proportion of 37.1% and in 2018 it showed the proportion of 48.9%. One of the efforts to reduce the prevalence of anemia is by giving 90 tablets of iron (Fe) during pregnancy. This study aims to determine the differences in hemoglobin levels and body weight of third trimester pregnant women based on compliance with consuming iron tablets in the working area of the Teluk Desa Puskesmas in 2021. This study uses a comparative quantitative approach. The number of samples of this study were 106 third trimester pregnant women. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results showed a 2-way (t-tailed) significance value of 0.000. <0.05 and 0.003 <0.005. This means that there is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels and body weight of pregnant women between mothers who are compliant and do not comply with consuming iron tablets during pregnancy. This study recommends that medical personnel (midwives or nurses), especially those in the health center KIA clinic, can improve the quality of information regarding compliance with iron consumption in pregnancy so that risk factors for anemia can be overcome

Abstract

The understanding of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding as evidenced by Exclusive breastfeeding is breastfeeding from birth until the child is 6 months old. During this period children are not expected to get additional fluids, such as formula milk, lemon juice, tea water, honey, and plain water. In exclusive breastfeeding, children are also not given additional food such as bananas, biscuits, rice porridge, teams, and so on. Exclusive breastfeeding for up to 6 months can meet the needs of children, and requires additional food at the age of over 6 months (Maryunani, 2012). The role of midwives in promoting exclusive breastfeeding can be started from the time the mother is pregnant. When pregnant women check their pregnancies, pregnant women will get information about the benefits of breastfeeding and how to successfully breastfeed when their babies are born (Atik, 2016). The role of a good midwife will increase a good understanding for pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding 37.9%, and there is an influence between the role of midwives and the value of PV value 0.003. Pregnant women make antenatal care visits at least 4 times during pregnancy to the midwife or to the nearest health facility so that they get clear information about exclusive breastfeeding. For health workers to be more intensive in conducting home visits to check on mothers' pregnancies as well as providing counseling on exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

The results of the Study on the Nutritional Status of Indonesian Toddlers (SSGBI) in 2019 showed the prevalence rate of stunting under five in 2013 was 37.2%, decreased by 6.4% in 2018 which was 30.8% and continued to decline by 3.1% in 2019, namely 27.67%. Another factor that is interrelated with this case is the knowledge of the mother and family regarding stunting, both in terms of knowledge of the meaning, causes, impacts, prevention and prevention of stunting itself. This study uses a descriptive design to see a description of the knowledge of mothers who have toddlers about stunting. The population of this research is mothers who have toddlers aged 12-59 months in Pekan Tanjung Morawa Village with a sample size of 66 people (total sampling). The results of the study found that the majority of respondents had less knowledge about stunting (68%) in Pekan Tanjung Morawa Village. It is expected that respondents can increase mother's knowledge about stunting, respondents can further increase their knowledge of stunting through health worker facilities, or existing books so that they can prevent stunting cases in infants and toddlers.
