The lack of utilization of health services in LIU Health Center is the background of the author doing this study. The purpose of this study is to find out the picture of factors that affect the utilization of LIU health centers based on community knowledge and the distance of community residence with health centers. The type of research used is a descriptive survey. How to take samples is done with purposifve sampling technique. Based on the results of the study obtained that showed that of 50 respondents (44.7%) who use health centers, who have enough knowledge as many as 35 respondents (31.3%) and who have less knowledge as many as 15 respondents (13.4%) while of 62 respondents (55.3%) who do not use health centers, there are 25 respondents (22.3%) who have enough knowledge and who have less knowledge as many as 37 respondents (33.0%). Meanwhile, of the 50 respondents (44.7%) utilizing health centers that have a close residence distance to the health center as many as 33 respondents (29.5%) and those who have a distance of residence far from the health center as many as 17 respondents (15.2%) while those who do not use the health center as many as 62 respondents (55.3%) who have a close residence distance to the health center as many as 25 respondents (22.3%) and who have a distance of residence with the health center as many as 37 respondents (33.0%). Therefore it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and the utilization of Liu's health center. From the results of the study also found that there is a relationship between the distance of the community and the utilization of puskesmas.

Abstract

School is a secondary education environment. For children who have attended school, the environment that every day he entered in addition to the home environment is the school. Teenagers who have been sitting in junior high school or high school generally spend about seven hours a day in school. This means that almost a third of his time each day is spent in school. It is not surprising that the influence of school on the development of adolescent mental health is quite large. As an educational institution, which is the case with the family, the school also teaches the values and norms that apply in society.  The problem of sex in adolescents often concerns parents, as well as educators, government officials, experts, and the public. Having casual sex before marriage will eventually carry risks, such as pregnancy. An unwanted pregnancy, because it is not in accordance with the demands and norms that apply in society, results in abortion as a way that is considered to solve their problems. The study aims to find out how attitudes toward pre-marital abortion differ in teens attending high school and MA. The approach used is a quantitative approach with comparative research methods. The research was conducted at Dharma Karya UT High School, Pamulang and MA Manaratul Islam, Jakarta with a sample number of 50 people, 25 high school students and 25 MA students, which were taken by random sampling technique. The data collection instrument used is the Likert model scale. Data processing and analysis techniques are performed with statistical analysis that includes Pearson's Product Moment correlation to test item validity, Alpha Cronbach to test the reliability of data collection instruments, and T-test for testing research hypotheses. The number of valid items for the attitude scale towards pre-marital abortion is 40 items. The reliability of the attitude scale towards pre-marital sex was 0.8366. Based on the T-test, the result of t-calculate (0.989) < t-table (2,021). There was no significant difference in pre-marital abortion attitudes between high school and MA. The results showed that there was no difference in attitudes towards pre-marital abortion in adolescents who attended high school and MA. This is evident from the categorization, both high school students and MA students as much as (40%) have a fairly negative attitude towards pre-marital abortion. It is recommended for further researchers to create pre-marital abortion items in the context of adolescents, in order to represent the research sample. Then it needs to be traced further, what factors can shape a teenager's positive attitude towards pre-marital abortion. So that this can be used as a preventive measure in preventing increasing moral degradation among adolescents, especially Indonesian students, related to pre-marital abortion.

Abstract

Lung abscess is still a significant cause of morbidity and mortality. The worldwide mortality rate ranges from 15% to 20%. Radiologically, lung abscesses appear as single or multiple cavities that can mimic many other pulmonary pathological processes which pose a challenge for radiologists to understand this disease. Failure in early diagnosis and treatment can lead to a poor prognosis. Radiological examinations such as conventional radiography, computed tomography (CT) scan, ultrasonography (US and magnetic resonance imaging are available in establishing the diagnosis of lung abscess where CT scan has the best diagnostic performance. The use of appropriate radiological modalities is expected to help rule out many other differential diagnoses, so that an accurate diagnosis can be made.

Abstract

Children who are immunized with Pentabio will experience pain which can cause excessive anxiety and even trauma. One method of reducing pain is an ice pack. However, currently there are not many ways used to reduce pain during immunization. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of applying ice packs to the pain response during Pentabio immunization in toddlers. This type of research is a quasi-experimental post-test only with group control design. The experimental group was treated with ice packs before immunization, while the control group was given the distraction treatment. The sample size in this study was 50 respondents selected by purposive sampling technique and tested using the t-test. Based on the results of the t-test, in the control group there were 14 children who experienced very severe pain, while in the experimental group there were 4 children who did not experience pain. The difference in pain levels between the two groups obtained a p value of 0.0001 (0.0001 <0.05). It is recommended that there be the latest policies regarding immunization to improve the quality of services related to reducing pain when children are immunized. It is hoped that the community, including parents, will no longer be afraid of immunizing their children because there is an ice pack technique that can reduce pain when immunization is carried out, so that children can feel more comfortable with an easy, cheap and safe method.
