Abstract

This article analyses the educational thought of Abu Al-Hasan Ali Al-Nadwi (d. 1999 A.D.). The study aimed to determine the concept of the Sirah education curriculum at the junior high school level, according to Abu Al-Hasan Ali Al-Nadwi. This type of research is categorized as library research, with data obtained from Al-Nadwi's books relating to Sirah and education in particular such as Al-Tarîq ilâ al-Madînah; Sîrah Khâtim al-Nabiyîn li al-Atfâl; Al-Sîrah Al-Nabawiyyah; Muslims in the West, Message, and Mission. The methods used in this study are descriptive research, qualitative research, and basic research. Based on the study results, two main thoughts about Sirah's education were found. First, the continuity of Sirah Education is essential, which means that Sirah education is taught for all generations. Furthermore, Sirah education means integrating Sirah education in subjects, especially religious aspects. The author's findings on the concept of the Sirah education curriculum at the junior high school level, according to Abu Al-Hasan Ali Al-Nadwi, are a set of objectives, programs, processes, and evaluations of Sirah education up to the junior high school level that can be given from class VII to grade IX junior high school. With the existence of Sirah Education, which aims to make the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam an example for junior high school students, it is hoped that it can shape the Islamic personality of students at the junior high school level and give birth to Akhlaq al Karimah based on Tawhid.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find a picture of a stable financial system from the perspective of the Islamic economy. This type of research is literature research with qualitative methods using normative, historical, and phenomenological approaches. The normative approach is used to explain the concepts of Islamic economics. The historical approach is used to explain the chronology of the use of the current financial system. The phenomenological approach explains contemporary events related to the research topic. The data is taken from a wide variety of literature, such as the Qur'an, al-Hadith, and many articles from national and international reputational journals related to this research topic. Researchers used more than 50 articles from Scopus quartile indexed journals 1 to 4 in the last five years. The collected data are analyzed by a deductive method, that is, the process of data analysis of the general opinion of Islamic teachings that have been agreed upon by the majority of people and then narrowed down to a specific idea of the stability of the financial system in Islam. The results of this study were found due to the instability of the current financial system because it uses the concept of usury (in Arabic, usury). In contrast, usury in Islamic economics is legally haram. Therefore, the way to stabilize the financial system from an Islamic economic perspective is to use gold and silver currency standards, abolish the practice of usury, and supervise the turnover of money in society by the hisbah. This research can add to the academic discourse of Islamic economics.

Abstract

This study examines the potential outcomes of uniting the resources of Muslim countries. Despite the challenges in obtaining accurate data, various representative approaches are proposed. Among the institutions that collect such data is the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Center for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), which is under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The analysis focuses on the sufficiency of energy, food, and industrial raw materials in Muslim nations. However, it emphasizes the need for adjustments to improve economic interdependence among these countries, reducing their reliance on developed nations that once colonized them. Furthermore, the study acknowledges the ongoing work required to tap into intangible resources effectively. The findings underscore the anticipated benefits and ease that can be achieved through collaborative efforts among Muslim countries, paving the way for improved resource utilization and collective advancement.

Abstract

One of the measuring tools to determine the level of progress of a country is the level of consumption per capita of its population. The level of consumption is the main indicator of purchasing power that shows the level of welfare of the population of a country. Increased purchasing power and welfare can be created through various policies, one of which is reducing production costs. One component of production costs that can be eliminated is taxes, so it is necessary to initiate a state revenue budget without taxes. This study aims to calculate the potential of natural resources in Indonesia that can be explored and exploited as the main source of income in the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget. This research uses a literature study approach from reliable sources. Data and documents are processed to be evaluated economically and classified into three categories, namely energy sources or mining products, forest products, and marine products. The budgeting analysis is carried out with a study of muamalah fiqh which will produce a formulation or proposal for the state budget of revenue and expenditure in an Islamic perspective. The findings in this study indicate that the economic value of natural resources produced in Indonesia is capable of generating real wealth that is relevant to be used as the main source of income, in addition to sources of zakat, infaq, waqf, and grants which are also sources of state income in an Islamic perspective. Through this paper, it is hoped that it will create understanding and awareness among state leaders and managers to optimize natural resources in the policy of state revenue sources, so that taxes which are production costs can be minimized or even abolished. Thus the ideals of creating people's welfare can be realized immediately.
