E-CHIEF JOURNAL (Early Childhood and Family Parenting Journal) is a journal that was started publishing on May 2021 at the Early childhood Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Focus and Scope of journal is research study and analysis related to Early Childhood Education. The article will publish in English, every manuscript sent to the editorial office of the journal ought to follow the writing guidelines. If the manuscript does not meet with the author guidelines or any manuscript written in different format, the article will be rejected before further review. Only submitted manuscripts that meet the journals format will be processed further. E-CHIEF journal published twice a year, in May and November. Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of cooperative attitudes of children through the combination of the DREAM model with picture card media in group B of the TK Negeri Pembina Kelumpang Hilir Kotabaru. This research uses classroom action research which consists of four stages, there are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were the children of group B of the State Kindergarten Pembina Kelumpang Hilir Kotabaru totalling 6 children in four meetings. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study indicate the development of children's cooperative attitudes in the learning process using a combination of the DREAM model with picture card media. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of children's cooperative attitude, at the first meeting by 33%, the second meeting by 67%, the third meeting by 83%, and the fourth meeting by 100%. Based on the result of the study, it was concluded that the combination of the DREAM model with picture card media could increase the activity and achievement of children's development outcomes. It is recommended to use this model as an alternative in increasing learning activities that have an impact on increasing children's developmental achievements in being cooperative with friends.Keywords: Cooperative Attitude with Friends, DREAM Model (Demonstration, Examples Non Examples and Make A Match) with picture card media.

Abstract

 The problem of this research is the low cognitive ability of children in classifying objects based on colour, shape and size. The research aims to describe teacher activities, children's activities and analyze the results of children's cognitive development. The research approach uses qualitative research with Classroom Action Research in four meetings. The results showed that the teacher's activity at the last meeting got a maximum score of 32 with a percentage of 100% with very good criteria. Children's activities at the first meeting reached the category of a small number of active children, the second meeting reached the category of some active children, the third meeting reached the category of most active children and the fourth meeting reached the category of all active children. The classical achievement of children's development at the first meeting reached 20%, the second meeting reached 60%, the third meeting reached 80% and the fourth meeting reached 100%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the combination of the Rection Riasantri model could increase the activity and developmental outcomes of children. It is suggested that the Rection Riasantri model can improve children's abilities in the cognitive aspect.Keywords: Cognitive, classifying objects based on colour, shape and size, Rection Riasantri.

Abstract

 This research is motivated by the low cognitive activity of children in recognizing number symbols. This is caused by one-way learning, monotonous and uninteresting. The purpose of this study was to describe cognitive aspects of the ability to recognize number symbols using the Talking stick model and the Flannel Board media at the PERTIWI Anjir Pasar TK Children. The research used a qualitative approach and the type of classroom action research with research subjects 4 boys and 5 girls group B TK PERTIWI Anjir Pasar. The study was carried out in 4 meetings with the result showing that applying the combination of the Talking stick model and the Flannel Board media can increase teacher activity up to 97%, children's activities reach 100% and children's cognitive development result reach 100%. The result of this study can be used as an alternative in the selection of model in developing children's cognitive abilities. Keywords: Cognitive, Numbers, Talking Stick, Flannel Board

Abstract

 The problem of this research is that there are not yet development of fine motor skills in sticking in the year 2020/2021 as many as 8 people out of 10 children with a percentage of 80% of the B3 group in Al-Amin Martapura Kindergarten, Banjar Regency. The reason is that online learning is not clear, the process of learning activities is not directly involved, and there are no other media that are more varied, only using Children's Worksheets. The solutions used are demonstration methods, assignment assignments and mosaic techniques. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation and analyze the development of fine motor skills of attached children through combining demonstration methods, assigning assignments, and using mosaic techniques. This study consisted of 3 cycles using a qualitative approach of Class Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were children of the B3 group at Al-Amin Martapura Kindergarten, Banjar Regency. The result of the study showed that the teacher's activity with a score of 23 or very good criteria, 90% of children's activities obtained very active criteria, and the result of the achievement of fine motor development reached 90% in the Very Well Developed category. It was concluded that through a combination of demonstration methods and giving assignments, they could develop fine motor skills using the mosaic technique.Keywords: Fine Motor, Demonstration, Assignment, Mozaic

Abstract

 The research interest in RA children can bring up new ideas that can improve children's ability to express sentences and enrich vocabulary that becomes a reference in speaking on language skill. The purpose of this study was to describe teacher activities, children’s activities and the result of developing language skill in repeating simple sentences and enriching vocabulary. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research carried out in three meetings. The research subjects were ten children, there are five boys and five girls. The result showed that the teacher activities were carried out very well. Children's activities increased with the very active category and the result of the development of children's language skill obtained the Very Good Developing category (BSB). It is hoped that the result of this study can be used as a reference to develop children's abilities in aspect of language development.Keywords: Language, Repeating Simple Sentences and Enhancing Vocabulary, Method of Speaking, Articulation, Model and Make a Match.

Abstract

 The purpose of this study was to diagnose the difficulty of counting, the factor causing the difficulty of counting and the solution to the problem of learning difficulties in numeracy experienced by the lower grade students. This study uses a qualitative approach. This research data collection uses test, observation and interview. The data collected were analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the result of the analysis of the data obtained, the result showed that subjects with high abilities did not have difficulty in counting. Subjects who are capable are having difficulty understanding concepts, difficulty distinguishing operating symbols, difficulty applying counting principles and difficulty translating questions. Subjects with low abilities have difficulty counting and distinguishing operating symbols, difficulty translating questions, and difficulty applying arithmetic principles. Factors causing difficulty in counting are the lack of motivation and interest of students in learning and students are not yet fluent in reading. The solution in overcoming these problems is to instil the concept of addition and subtraction of numbers to children using concrete and semi-concrete objects, the questions presented are using picture questions, both routine questions and story questions, and the use of media and learning models to generate interest and motivation in children in counting addition and counting subtraction.Keywords: learning difficulties, arithmetic operations, addition and subtraction
