E-CHIEF JOURNAL (Early Childhood and Family Parenting Journal) is a journal that was started publishing on May 2021 at the Early childhood Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Focus and Scope of journal is research study and analysis related to Early Childhood Education. The article will publish in English, every manuscript sent to the editorial office of the journal ought to follow the writing guidelines. If the manuscript does not meet with the author guidelines or any manuscript written in different format, the article will be rejected before further review. Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of cooperative attitudes of children through the combination of the DREAM model with picture card media in group B of the TK Negeri Pembina Kelumpang Hilir Kotabaru. This research uses classroom action research which consists of four stages, there are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were the children of group B of the State Kindergarten Pembina Kelumpang Hilir Kotabaru totalling 6 children in four meetings. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study indicate the development of children's cooperative attitudes in the learning process using a combination of the DREAM model with picture card media. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of children's cooperative attitude, at the first meeting by 33%, the second meeting by 67%, the third meeting by 83%, and the fourth meeting by 100%. Based on the result of the study, it was concluded that the combination of the DREAM model with picture card media could increase the activity and achievement of children's development outcomes. It is recommended to use this model as an alternative in increasing learning activities that have an impact on increasing children's developmental achievements in being cooperative with friends.Keywords: Cooperative Attitude with Friends, DREAM Model (Demonstration, Examples Non Examples and Make A Match) with picture card media.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pola asuh orang tua membentuk karakter mandiri anak dimasa belajar dari rumah pada Anak Usia Dini. Subjek penelitian adalah orang tua dari anak kelompok B di PAUD Terpadu At-Tibyan Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis naturalistic inquiry (ingkuri alamiah) yang merupakan metode langsung untuk mendapatkan aktivitas yang terjadi secara alamiah di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh Authoritarian atau demokratis yang paling baik digunakan dalam membentuk karakter mandiri anak dimasa BDR walaupun pada aplikasinya dilapangan orang tua masih ada yang menggunakan pola asuh Authoritative dan permisif sehingga dapat menghambat pembentukan karakter anak usia dini dimasa BDR. Disarankan agar kegiatan BDR berjalan sesuai kurikulum sehingga dapat membentuk karakter anak diperlukan adanya komunikasi aktif dari kedua belah pihak dan pemahaman orang tua tentang pembelajaran anak usia dini.Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh, karakter mandiri, BDR AbstractThis study aims to determine parenting styles in forming the independent character of children in the learning period from home (BDR) in early childhood, while the research subjects are parents whose children attend PAUD Terpadu At-Tibyan Banjarmasin. Using qualitative research methods with the type of naturalistic inquiry (natural ingkuri). Research data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that authoritarian or democratic parenting is best used in shaping children's independent character during BDR, although in its application in the field of parents, there are still those who use authoritative and permissive parenting styles so that it can inhibit the formation of early childhood character during BDR.Keywords: Parenting, independent character, BDR

Abstract

 The problem of this research is the low cognitive ability of children in classifying objects based on colour, shape and size. The research aims to describe teacher activities, children's activities and analyze the results of children's cognitive development. The research approach uses qualitative research with Classroom Action Research in four meetings. The results showed that the teacher's activity at the last meeting got a maximum score of 32 with a percentage of 100% with very good criteria. Children's activities at the first meeting reached the category of a small number of active children, the second meeting reached the category of some active children, the third meeting reached the category of most active children and the fourth meeting reached the category of all active children. The classical achievement of children's development at the first meeting reached 20%, the second meeting reached 60%, the third meeting reached 80% and the fourth meeting reached 100%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the combination of the Rection Riasantri model could increase the activity and developmental outcomes of children. It is suggested that the Rection Riasantri model can improve children's abilities in the cognitive aspect.Keywords: Cognitive, classifying objects based on colour, shape and size, Rection Riasantri.

Abstract

 This research is motivated by the low cognitive activity of children in recognizing number symbols. This is caused by one-way learning, monotonous and uninteresting. The purpose of this study was to describe cognitive aspects of the ability to recognize number symbols using the Talking stick model and the Flannel Board media at the PERTIWI Anjir Pasar TK Children. The research used a qualitative approach and the type of classroom action research with research subjects 4 boys and 5 girls group B TK PERTIWI Anjir Pasar. The study was carried out in 4 meetings with the result showing that applying the combination of the Talking stick model and the Flannel Board media can increase teacher activity up to 97%, children's activities reach 100% and children's cognitive development result reach 100%. The result of this study can be used as an alternative in the selection of model in developing children's cognitive abilities. Keywords: Cognitive, Numbers, Talking Stick, Flannel Board

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis aktivitas anak dan hasil perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak yaitu terbiasa berperilaku sopan santun menggunakan kombinasi model role playing dengan metode story telling dan model talking stick pada anak kelompok B1 PAUD Terpadu Banjarmasin Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian (PTK) dengan tiga pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan disetiap pertemuannya aktivitas guru meningkat dengan kriteria sangat Baik, aktivitas anak berkembang menjadi sangat aktif dengan persentase 88% dan hasil perkembangan anak menjadi Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) dengan persentase 96%. Hasil penelitian ini dapat.digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pemilihan model dalam mengembangkan perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak.Kata Kunci: Nilai Agama dan Moral, Terbiasa Berperilaku Sopan Santun, Role playing, Story Telling, Talking Stick

Abstract

 The problem of this research is that there are not yet development of fine motor skills in sticking in the year 2020/2021 as many as 8 people out of 10 children with a percentage of 80% of the B3 group in Al-Amin Martapura Kindergarten, Banjar Regency. The reason is that online learning is not clear, the process of learning activities is not directly involved, and there are no other media that are more varied, only using Children's Worksheets. The solutions used are demonstration methods, assignment assignments and mosaic techniques. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation and analyze the development of fine motor skills of attached children through combining demonstration methods, assigning assignments, and using mosaic techniques. This study consisted of 3 cycles using a qualitative approach of Class Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were children of the B3 group at Al-Amin Martapura Kindergarten, Banjar Regency. The result of the study showed that the teacher's activity with a score of 23 or very good criteria, 90% of children's activities obtained very active criteria, and the result of the achievement of fine motor development reached 90% in the Very Well Developed category. It was concluded that through a combination of demonstration methods and giving assignments, they could develop fine motor skills using the mosaic technique.Keywords: Fine Motor, Demonstration, Assignment, Mozaic

Abstract

Penanaman nilai agama dan moral anak penting dilakukan sejak usia dini, karena merupakan awal yang baik bagi pendidikan anak untuk menjalankan pendidikan selanjutnya. Dalam penanaman nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia dini dapat dilakukan melalui banyak cara atau kegiatan diantaranya melalui kegiatan rutinitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penanaman nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia dini melalui kegiatan rutinitas di PAUD Terpadu Islam Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif naratif melalui wawancara terhadap responden berjumlah delapan orang guru. Data yang didapat dianalisi melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penamanan nilai agama dan moral dilaksanakan sejak usia dini berlandaskan Al-Quran dan Hadits, disesuaikan dengan tahap perkembangan, karakteristik, dan kemampuan anak didik. Implementasi strategi pengembangan nilai agama dan moral dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan rutinitas yaitu mengucap salam dan berjabat tangan, jurnal pagi, bermain bersama teman, membaca ikrar, membaca surah pendek, membaca do’a harian, membaca asmaul husna, kegiatan makan bersama, dan kegiatan sholat zuhur berjamaah.Kata Kunci: Penanaman Nilai Agama dan Moral, Anak Usia Dini, Rutinitas

Abstract

 The research interest in RA children can bring up new ideas that can improve children's ability to express sentences and enrich vocabulary that becomes a reference in speaking on language skill. The purpose of this study was to describe teacher activities, children’s activities and the result of developing language skill in repeating simple sentences and enriching vocabulary. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research carried out in three meetings. The research subjects were ten children, there are five boys and five girls. The result showed that the teacher activities were carried out very well. Children's activities increased with the very active category and the result of the development of children's language skill obtained the Very Good Developing category (BSB). It is hoped that the result of this study can be used as a reference to develop children's abilities in aspect of language development.Keywords: Language, Repeating Simple Sentences and Enhancing Vocabulary, Method of Speaking, Articulation, Model and Make a Match.

Abstract

Pengajar perlu mengubah media pembelajaran di dalam proses pembelajaran  dengan menggunakan ICT (Information and Communication of Technology) untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi di dalam proses pembelajaran, salah satunya yaitu Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Untuk AUD. Di Indonesia, belajar bahasa asing adalah proses yang terintegrasi. Akan tetapi, permasalahan yang terjadi adalah banyak siswa menganggap Bahasa Inggris sulit untuk dipelajari, terutama belajar di luar jam sekolah. Sehingga, dengan penggunaan media berbasis ICT dapat mengurangi pemikiran secara bertahap tentang sulitnya Bahasa Inggris. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan media berbasis ICT baik komputer atau perangkat seluler dalam meningkatkan keterampilan Bahasa Inggris di proses pembelajaran Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Untuk AUD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran (mixed method) dengan subyek 35 siswa yang dijadikan sampel di Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris untuk AUD kelas VI A tahun 2019/2020, PG PAUD FKIP ULM. Data akan dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara serta observasi yang dilakukan di kelas oleh dua penilai yang berbeda untuk menghindari bias. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa memiliki tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan ICT (aplikasi MALL) di dalam pembelajaran Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Untuk AUD. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris untuk AUD dengan menggunakan ICT.Kata Kunci : ICT, Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris

Abstract

 The purpose of this study was to diagnose the difficulty of counting, the factor causing the difficulty of counting and the solution to the problem of learning difficulties in numeracy experienced by the lower grade students. This study uses a qualitative approach. This research data collection uses test, observation and interview. The data collected were analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the result of the analysis of the data obtained, the result showed that subjects with high abilities did not have difficulty in counting. Subjects who are capable are having difficulty understanding concepts, difficulty distinguishing operating symbols, difficulty applying counting principles and difficulty translating questions. Subjects with low abilities have difficulty counting and distinguishing operating symbols, difficulty translating questions, and difficulty applying arithmetic principles. Factors causing difficulty in counting are the lack of motivation and interest of students in learning and students are not yet fluent in reading. The solution in overcoming these problems is to instil the concept of addition and subtraction of numbers to children using concrete and semi-concrete objects, the questions presented are using picture questions, both routine questions and story questions, and the use of media and learning models to generate interest and motivation in children in counting addition and counting subtraction.Keywords: learning difficulties, arithmetic operations, addition and subtraction
