Abstract

This study aims to produce saline hydrolysis elearning based on the project based learning learning model and assisted with the zainulteam.id LMS moddle and to reveal the validity and practicality of the e-learning. This type of research is research and development (R&D), the method used in this research is a development model using a 4-D design. They define, design, develop and disseminate. This research is limited to the development stage, validity and practicality tests. The data collection instrument was in the form of an observation questionnaire, validity and practicality. Elearning was validated by 2 experts, consisting of UNP chemistry education graduate students while the test was conducted by chemistry teachers and students. The validity and practicality of the data were analyzed using the Aiken's V technique. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the average Aiken V (V) index of validity is 0.8 with the high validity category, the average Aiken V (V) index of teacher practice tests is 0.81 with high practicality. category and the average Aiken V (V) practicality index of students was 0.82 with the high practicality category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that e-learning based on project based learning model and assisted by zainulteam.id LMS, the topic of salt hydrolysis is valid and practical for learning chemistry in high school.

Abstract

The development of information technology, the need for IT-based teaching, and learning concepts and mechanisms cannot be avoided. Therefore, a form of information is needed, in the form of a learning system facility called e-learning that can support the learning activities. This study aims to develop of e-learning based on project based learning on reaction rate material using the flipped classroom approach in Senior High School. This research is classified as Research and Development (R&D) using a 4-D development model. Populations in this research are students from Senior High School in West Sumatera, Indonesia. There are 20 Students of SMA N 8 Padang, in XI class level as respondents for developing this product. Research instruments used were interview sheet and validity and practicality questionnaires. Data showed that e-learning based on project based learning on reaction rate material through the flipped classroom was needed. The result of the validity sheet analysis with Aikens’s V showed the average score is 0,91 (for content validity) and 0,92 (for construct validity). The result of the practicality sheet analysis the average score is 0,83 (for practicality from students). Therefore, it can be concluded that e-learning based on project based learning on reaction rate material using the flipped classroom is valid and practical.

Abstract

Educational Chemistry is a material which in its study requires 3 levels of representation known as the triangle, namely macroscopic, submicroscopic and symbolic. At the microscopic level, chemical materials study abstract things such as atoms, molecules, compounds so that they must be a concrete picture to study them. At the symbolic level contains formulas, structures, and reaction equations. Meanwhile, at the macroscopic level it was carried out by means of experiments. However, in its implementation, the experiment requires a long time and complete facilities and infrastructure. So that what happens in the field students only remember and memorize, do not understand and have the ability to think at a high level in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum. There have been many studies that have shown that these learning models are able to improve students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and creative thinking. So that the authors make this research into the Development of a Content Learning System (CLS) Flipped Classroom Model Based on Project Base Learning on Quantum Number in 1st Class (X) term to Improve Higher-Level Thinking Ability. This research is a research development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall model.

Abstract

This study goals is to produce an e-learning to help students understand chemistry lesson eventough they can’t study in class or study in a normal condition. This research is focused development of content learning system e-learning on corossion topic based on project-based learning model using flipped classroom. This study is a research and development (R&D) method to produce a particular product, and test the effectiveness of the product. The data collection techniques used is questionnaire of product evaluation. The e-learning product validation conducted by postgraduates students of educational chemistry from Universitas Negeri Padang. The validation analysis was carried out using V aiken index. The validation of 3 aspects of content validity shows is Guide and information, this components show the average result of V about 0.833, it means this component is valid. The average result of V for material content is 0.838 and for evaluation is 0.84.For the construct validity for guide and information, which the V average result is 0.796. For the program performance the v result is 0.83 and in the design principles shows 0.777 of v result. This result conclude that the e-learning product is valid, and can be use for learning process in Senior High School.
