Abstract

Waktu adalah keberadaan. Menghemat waktu mungkin menambah kualitas dalam hidup kita. Untuk mendapatkan lebih banyak waktu dan kebebasan melalui teknologi hemat waktu, kita semakin terpancang pada komoditas teknologi yang memungkinkan penghematan waktu untuk memberi lebih banyak kebebasan. Audit kualitatif pada teknologi penghematan waktu akan memoderasi asumsi ini, dengan peluang penggunaan dan penghematan waktu yang saling dinetralkan, kecuali untuk kewaspadaan terhadap penyimpangan pemakaian waktu secara diam-diam oleh komoditas. Kecerdasan dan relasionalitas menawarkan kemungkinan alami untuk menghemat waktu, meskipun kecerdasan dapat pula menunjukkan ketidakpedulian relasional. Dalam relasionalitas kita memperoleh banyak untaian narasi kehidupan, menambahkan waktu dan dorongan aktif untuk keberadaan tunggal kita.

Abstract

Today, in church worship occur hustle and bustle about the use of contemporary Christian music in worship. Proponents argue that God reigns over the praise, so any music is feasible in the presence of God; opponents consider that Christian contemporary music is less feasible because it was born as an alternative form of popular music and its relation to commercialism. In the middle of this clash of two groups, the development of contemporary Christian music increasingly unstoppable and continues to spread to fellowship and churches. This phenomenon is interesting because although underestimated by most people the Christian contemporary music is able to attract attention and liked by many people, especially young people.

Abstract

Depression syndrome in theological students has been scarcely examined. The students who come from various places and cultural background often arrive in the school with unresolved problems internally, thus affecting the academic achievement and impairing the social functioning skills. The case study purposively sampling four students with presented depressive symptom who expressed emotional distress, physical discomfort and several suicidal ideations. The students themselves were and are the author’s students in 12 years’ experience in teaching formal and non-formal Christian course or Theological studies. During the three months encounters and short sessions in class and out class, several students were able to have decent therapeutic alliance, and fulfil the agreed goals together.  Conclusively, students who were able to share and express their struggles in helpful and supportive environment could thrive positively and showed visible change in behaviour, symptoms and achievement. The spiritual discipline of meditating the Scripture and praying about it played a significant role in, and the usage of REBT and Psychodynamic are beneficial in exploring the repressed emotions and the subscribed irrational beliefs.Keywords: Students, distress, REBT, psychodynamic, Christians,

Abstract

The influence of theology and practice on interpretation is discussed and applied to communion practices. These practices are considered with specific attention to Acts chapter 2. The paper will focus on the frequency of observing the Lord’s Supper as presented in Acts. A prior commitment to traditional practices and theologies can lead to conclusions that are at odds with what is found there. Attention will be given to practices within the Churches of Christ and Christian Churches in America and how their theology and practices impact their understanding of Acts 2. The two apostolic precedents in Acts (2:46; 20:7) are proposed as guides to celebrating the Lord’s Supper on Sunday and other occasions that do not fall on the first day of the week. Abstract

Allah menghendaki setiap orang dapat mengenalNya dan hal tersebut terjadi sejak bapa leluhur jauh sebelum kristus. Bagaimana cara Allah dapat saling mengenal sebab sejak manusia jatuh dalam dosa telah terjadi keterpisahan dalam relasi Allah dengan manusia. Allah menjadikan penderitaan sebagai sarana untuk membangun relasi dengan orang-orang yang takut akan Dia. Penderitaan dipakai Allah untuk menyatakan karakter dan sifat-sifatnya kepada orang-orang yang takut dan menaruh rasa hormat terhadapNya.  Kata kunci: Penderitaan, hubungan, takut akan Allah

Abstract

Mujizat merupakan suatu hal yang ilahi dan berasal dari Allah.  Pengalaman  akan  mujizat harus terlebih dahulu didasari pada iman yang kuat. Yesus banyak melakukan mujizat menyembuhkan dan memulihkan orang-orang yang dilandasi oleh iman orang-orang tersebut dan kualitas iman merekalah yang sebenarnya menjadi dasar dari respon Yesus dalam menunjukan kuasa ilahi-Nya dalam bentuk mujizat-mujizat kesembuhan. Hanya orang-orang yang memiliki keteguhan iman saja yang dapat merasakan dan menerima mujizat dari Kristus Yesus.Kata-kata kunci: mujizat, iman, kesembuhan

Abstract

Keselamatan yang dikerjakan oleh Tuhan Yesus Kristus adalah suatu penggenapan dari rencana Allah sebelumnya.  Kematian-Nya untuk menggantikan orang-orang berdosa sudah dinubuatkan dalam kitab Yesaya.  Ia mati di tempat orang berdosa. Kematian penggantian-Nya secara detail dijelaskan oleh Yesaya, bahkan proses dan situasi kematian-Nya nampak jelas dengan apa yang dituliskan oleh Yesaya.Key words: penebusan, pengganti, keselamatan, penderitaan, hamba.
