Journal of Airport Engineering Technology (JAET) is an open-access journal published two times a year in June and December, with e-ISSN: 2774-9622 and p-ISSN: 2775-4871. JAET sets out to address, through high-quality research articles and authoritative commentary, the airport engineering, operation, services, business, management, safety, and policy facing the aerodrome industry today. Any Scholars and practitioners are welcome to contribute to the analysis and discussion of related issues, linking research and practice and stimulating interaction between the two. Journal of Airport Engineering Technology, an international journal shall be published twice a year in electronic form. The scope of the journal includes but is not limited to airport engineering, operation, and services, the future airline industry, safety, and the human factor, aviation business, aviation sustainability & environment, aviation educational technology, innovation of aviation technology, and aviation rules and regulation. Papers are blind-reviewed, normally by two referees, chosen for their specialist knowledge. JAET is published twice a year, in June and December.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah lahan kritis di Indonesia saat ini makin meningkat, tak terkecuali pada daerah Kota Palembang. Peningkatan lahan kritis mengakibatkan berkurangnya volume limpasan air. Perubahan penggunaan lahan di Daerah Aliran Sungai adalah salah satu penyebab meningkatnya lahan kritis. Hal inilah yang memicu timbulnya berbagai permasalahan seperti banjir dan kekeringan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui besaran debit dengan menggunakan metode Hidrograf Satuan Sintetik (HSS) SCS. Perhitungan dengan metode HSS SCS ini diharapkan nantinya dapat memberikan informasi mengenai jumlah debit tertinggi sehingga dapat dicari solusi tepat untuk mengurangi permasalah banjir di Kota Palembang. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Palembang memiliki curah hujan yang cukup tinggi. Curah hujan yang tinggi ini harus diantisipasi dengan sarana dan prasarana yang baik agar Kota Palembang terhindar dari banjir. Pembangunan system drainase, perawatan system drainase yang telah ada, dan jumlah sumur resapan harus lebih dimaksimalkan. Kenyataan menunjukkan bahwa saat ini fungsi drainase di Kota Palembang sangat tidak optimal, banyak drainase yang tidak berfungsi dengan baik, banyak yang tertimbun, bahkan banyak daerah yang tidak memiliki system drainase sama sekali.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, education and training activities began to shift to online classes. The problem is, the training carried out is only limited to theory-based training, not practical training. The current situation raises new possibilities in changing the learning method to fully online classes, with the character of vocational education, namely student-centered learning. The expected advantage is that education can be applied anywhere, this article explains how education providers develop research and development with the ADDIE method to analyze curriculum and learning models by promoting project-based learning methods where students are expected to be able to develop actively in learning. The TRBU Study Program designed the Arduino IDE microcontroller online training using free TinkerCad simulation with asynchronous learning materials through the LMS and supported by online classes using the zoom application. The results showed that 42.9% of students have high interest in online workshop and 92.9% agree that this online course needs to be re-implemented.

Abstract

Public-private partnership define as a corporation between public as owner and private as manager and operational. This paper aims to describe the PPP development in infrastructure project in emerging economies. The result show the implementation of PPP conducted are based on the principle of a fair, open, transparent, and competitive. Also, the activities of Public-Private Partnership are important for all parties to understand each other, mission, functions and duties, rights, obligations of each as agents of development. It also do perception in the negotiation of partnership activities which is needed transparency, the commitment of development actors to the achievement of results mutual benefit. In addition, the need for the direct involvement of all parties, especially local government, parliament, the public, employees and others, the availability and access relevant data, easily, correctly and consistently. Hence, support for a clear and true to good decision giving the Central , Provincial or Regional (district or city ), auction eligibility criteria and negotiation clearly, transparent and consistent, and ability in mastering the material law, technical and finance.

Abstract

Jalan merupakan prasarana transportasi darat yang berperan sangat penting dalam mendukung distribusi barang dan jasa yang menunjang tingkat perekonomian suatu wilayah. Namun di sisi lain, aktivitas masyarakat yang tinggi berbanding lurus dengan volume serta frekuensi beban lalu lintas yang tinggi pula pada suatu ruas jalan yang berpeluang untuk mereduksi kualitas perkerasan jalan. Pothole merupakan salah satu kerusakan yang perlu mendapatkan penanganan khusus dikarenakan bentuknya yang terlihat sangat jelas dan dapat mengurangi kestabilan kendaraan. Preservasi jalan pada pothole atau lubang dapat dilakukan dengan material yang mudah dan efektif, yaitu stockpiled cold mix asphalt yang memiliki keunggulan berikut: efisien dari segi waktu, perkerasan dapat dilalui oleh kendaraan segera setelah aplikasi cold mix, serta pemeliharaan dapat dilakukan pada kondisi cuaca apapun. Teknik pelaksanaan patching dengan material cold mix asphalt dapat dilakukan dengan: throw-and-go; throw-and- roll; semi permanen; serta spray-injection. Pada pemeliharaan rutin, teknik throw-and- roll lebih direkomendasikan untuk digunakan. Modifikasi dapat dilakukan pada cold-mix asphalt untuk memodifikasi kekuatannya. Penambahan semen terbukti dapat menjadi bahan aditif dan admixture pada cold mix asphalt sehingga properti mekanik dalam cold mix asphalt berpotensi untuk termodifikasi menjadi ekivalen dan setara dari segi kekuatan dengan hot mix asphalt.

Abstract

Forecasting using the economic factor as indicators seems significant related. The experts also suggest predict the number of traffic in transport by approaching the econometric models. This paper predicting the upcoming number of air freight until 2030. The result shows GDP is significant related to number of air freight. However, the economic crisis also contributes to decreasing the value. Also, the Covid-19 impact the economic in the country. Predicting the number of air freight in 2020 is going down. The number seems gradually grow after two years and assume the pandemic is over soon

Abstract

This research aims to analyzethe hazards that exist at the end of runway 24 at Juwata Tarakan Airport.Then how to reduce the risks that exist in the area.The method that used for this research is the qualitative method. the data collection has been gained by observation, attendingdirectly into the field to analyze the hazards that exist at the end of the runway 24, depth interview with key informant, and document study on the accident historical data of the airport, respectively. Furthermore, the data was analyzed by risk management standardizationof AS/NZS 4360. Theresult show thatthe runwaypositionis near withthe road so it couldendanger motorists who pass on the highway. Moreover, therisk of jet blastbursts might cause an accident. After this research was carried out, a solution was obtained to reduce the existing risks by implementing a system of opening and closing traffic on the highway. In addition, it can also be done by diverting the flow of traffic on the highway.

Abstract

The design made has the aim of simplifying the tasks of all technicians and field coordinators in monitoring the operation of VHF Transmitter conditions, so that they canbe controlled anywhere. The background of this research is based on a case that has happened at Perum LPPNPI Kulonprogo Branch, where the VHF Transmitter Building is far from the technician's standby room. When a problem occurs, the technician cannot immediately find out. Therefore, the authors are interested in conducting research with the type of Research and Development (R & D) that uses qualitative research methods. This study resulted in the conclusion that with the main control of the microcontrollerand using a sensor to extract the voltage value from the alarm LED voltage line, so that this design can work and function properly according to the author's expectations.

Abstract

Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport has been an important hub airport in Indonesia for decades, connecting traffic between west and east Indonesia as well as functioned as international gate in East Indonesia along with Sam Ratulangi Airport. Analysing characteristics of historical traffic data pattern, determining factors affecting past behaviour and building the best-fit model to forecast future traffic are critical for airport operator. Several forecast techniques are employed including Holt-Winter, Decomposition Method and Econometric Model. Moreover, trend, seasonal event and irregular phenomena from past data are observed to analyse traffic behaviour. Passenger traffic data from 1995 up to 2015 is utilized to predict future traffic until 2020. Validation of selected forecast model is conducted by implementing backtesting method which shows that the model successful foretell annual passenger movement with estimation average deviation around 0.5%. Some potential risks and opportunities as well as potential route expansion are identified to fortify future challenges.

Abstract

Palembang has abundant water sources; the city of Palembang is traversed by one of the longest rivers in Indonesia, the Musi River. However, population growth is increasing over time, as is the need for clean water. Projections of the amount of clean water demand in the future are needed; apart from anticipating water shortages, water demand projections are required to construct clean water facilities and infrastructure. This research was conducted using statistical calculations to calculate the population in the next ten years. The population of Palembang in 2030 is projected to increase to1,898,221 inhabitants. The results of this population projection are used in calculating the total water demand in 2030. The total water demand is obtained from the calculation of domestic, non-domestic, fire hydrant, and water loss needs. In 2030, the total amount of water needed is 6,816 L / second.

Abstract

Cracks in the flexible pavement is a condition that occurs due to non-uniform stress distribution of loads on the pavement, resulting in damage to the weaker material, which then develops to other parts. Several types of treatment toovercome the cracks are:Crack Treatment; Surface Treatment; Crack Repair,andPavement Rehabilitation. One type of treatment in the preservation of flexible pavement cracking isslurry seals. Slurry sealis a stable mixture of slow, steady emulsion asphalt, fine aggregate with continuous gradation, filler and water. The advantages ofthe slurry seal areefficient, durable, and applicable. Applicationslurry seal inthe preservation of flexible pavement canimprove the life of the pavement for up to 8 years. In addition, manytreatment of type slurrysealreducing various thedamageof pavement.
