Abstract

This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of investment as measured by the need for investment to produce output at a certain level, which in turn can determine the regional economic growth target. The analytical tool used is the incremental capital output ratio (ICOR) and the determination of economic growth targets. The ICOR value used in this study was calculated using three calculation approaches, namely Lag0, Lag1, and Lag2 data. The data used in this study is data from the economy of the Special Region of Yogyakarta until 2019. The result is that during the research period, there is a correlation between ICOR and economic growth, meaning that the lower the ICOR value, the value of economic growth will also increase. This shows that the effectiveness and efficiency of investment will result in a positive impact on economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Korean wave and brand ambassadors on consumer purchasing decisions. This research is a quantitative study using a population of consumers of Nacific cosmetic products from South Korea. By using purposive sampling technique, a sample of 100 respondents was tested in this study. The analytical method used is binary logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the decision to purchase Korean cosmetic products was strongly influenced by the Korean wave, and vice versa was not influenced by the brand ambassador. This study shows that Korean culture has a fairly strong influence on Indonesian consumers' decisions to buy cosmetic products. Meanwhile, Korean influencers have no influence on purchasing decisions, which factors need to be studied. This study adds a reference to behavioral research related to the effects of cultural change in Indonesia, especially the influence of Korean culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze workplace loneliness and work stress on employee performance mediated by Islamic spiritual values. The research was conducted at Bank BNI Syariah Yogyakarta with a sample size of 75 respondents and using quantitative methods. The data collection technique was carried out by using a questionnaire distributed via google form, then the results of the study were analyzed statistically using SEM (structural equation modeling) with the help of SMART PLS software. The results of the study found that there was no positive and significant effect of workplace loneliness on Islamic spiritual values in employees, there was no positive and significant effect of workplace loneliness on employee performance, then there was a negative and significant effect of work stress on Islamic spiritual values, there was a negative and significant effect on work stress. On employee performance, there is no positive and significant influence of Islamic spiritual values on employee performance. In addition, Islamic spiritual values cannot significantly mediate the relationship between workplace loneliness and employee performance and show that Islamic spiritual values significantly mediate the relationship between work stress and employee performance in employees at Bank BNI Syariah Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job characteristics and employee engagement on performance by mediating organizational commitment to employees of PT Jati Luhur Agung Semarang. The research sample was all 115 employees of PT Jati Luhur Agung Semarang (Factory 1) with census sampling technique. The data analysis technique used instrument test, model test, regression test, and sobel test using SPSS 24 software. The results showed that job characteristics had no effect on organizational commitment. Employee engagement had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Job characteristics had a positive effect on performance. Employee engagement had a positive effect on performance. Organizational commitment had a positive effect on performance. Organizational commitment does not mediate the effect of job characteristics on performance while organizational commitment mediates employee engagement on performance.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the training process in the Learning Centre Unit at PT Bank BNI Syariah, (Persero), Tbk. This research is qualitative data collection methods in the form of observation and interviews with parties which is directly related to the activities of the Learning Centre Unit and the training participants. The list of questions had been structured according to Kirkpatrick & Kirkpatrick's theory as well as theory prevailing performance. Respondents are employees of PT Bank BNI Syariah (Persero), Tbk. especially those who served as a Financing Assistant. The results of observations and interviews show that there is an influence between training and improving the performance of PT Bank BNI Financing Assistant Syariah, (Persero) Tbk. and the behaviour level is the most variable dominantly affect the increase in employee performance after getting training. This is indicated by the percentage increase in the pre-test value and post-test and achievement of employee targets after attending training. Result interviewed 30 participants from 3 generations who attended the training said that 75% of the training participants were very helpful and happy get training so that helps them in completing work with new knowledge and ways.
