Abstract

−Dili City is the capital city of Timor-Leste. Geographically Timor-Leste is located between the Australian continent in the south and the Indonesian archipelago in the west, north and east with land and sea boundaries. The tourism sector in the city of Dili is diverse with its natural uniqueness and is made by humans, but thus the efforts of the government have not been as much as possible to control in terms of facilities, entrance fees and transportation specifically to this place. The government in Dili City has carried out promotions through mass media via Facebook, Instagram. However, this method is not sufficient to inform tourism widely to local and foreign tourists. Therefore, through the design and manufacture of a tourism GIS, it is hoped that it can display an overview of the tourist map of Dili City. The system development method used in this study is the Waterfall method with several stages, namely design, analysis, coding and testing, implementation and maintenance with data requirements in accordance with the spatial data model in Geographic Information Systems. The map design displayed in this system uses Google Maps, the software used in building this application is PHP (Pear Hypertext Preprocessor) as a programming language, MySQL as a database server, Map GIS Marker, Visual Studio Code as code editing software

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat menyebabkan banyak perusahaan mulai beralih dari sistem manual ke sistem terkomputerisasi. Sistem informasi menjadi kebutuhan bagi perusahaan karena sistem informasi dapat membantu dalam berbagai aspek seperti meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas proses bisnis, membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan, mengelola sumber daya dengan lebih maksimal, serta dapat meningkatkan produktivitas suatu perusahaan. Akan tetapi masih banyak perusahaan yang masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasionalnya, salah satunya Apotek Tuah Sehat. Terdapat beberapa masalah yang dihadapi Apotek Tuah Sehat saat menggunakan sistem secara manual, diantaranya: 1) Catatan data maupun transaksi yang ditulis di buku besar memiliki resiko terjadinya kerusakan bahkan kehilangan data, 2) Pengecekkan stok dilakukan secara manual sehingga memerlukan waktu yang lama dalam memperbaharui data stok barang, 3) Penulisan nota dan perhitungan total pembayaran secara manual mengakibatkan waktu yang diperlukan untuk melayani pelanggan menjadi lebih lama, dan 4) Laporan yang dibuat secara manual memerlukan waktu yang lama dalam penyusunannya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi, maka diusulkan sistem terkomputerisasi sehingga efisiensi dan efektivitas proses bisnis dapat ditingkatkan. Untuk menghasilkan sistem informasi penjualan yang sesuai kebutuhan perusahaan, penelitian ini menggunakan Unified Modelling Language (UML) sebagai teknik pengembangan model dan menggunakan aplikasi visual studio code untuk pengkodean sistem.

Abstract

In handling scholarship data for outstanding students, the Labuhanbatu Regency government in general still uses manual recording, namely by using a ledger and there is no computerization in determining the receipt of scholarships for outstanding students, so there are many mistakes in determining it. The problem faced by the many recipients of scholarships for outstanding students who are not appropriate so that those who deserve to receive do not receive and those who do not deserve to receive scholarships. This problem occurs because of the difficulty in implementing the selection of scholarship recipients due to the large number of applicants and the number of the same criteria in receiving scholarships. So that mistakes often occur To apply for a scholarship at the People's Welfare Office in the Labuhanbatu Regency government, students must fill out a form containing data from the student, such as Grade Point Average (GPA), Parents' income, Number of Siblings, Number of Dependent Parents. The ranking process in receiving scholarships uses the Entropy Method in giving weighting to the criteria objectively and the ARAS Method, which is a suitable method in determining the calculation of weights based on predetermined criteria and ranking from a set of alternative data that kick each other. So that it can reduce the errors that have been faced so far.

Abstract

The face is a part of the body that is generally useful as a recognition tool. Faces that are visible to the naked eye look similar but each person's face has a different pattern. Facial pattern is one of the factors that can show the characteristics of a person's face that can affect the characteristics of that person's race. Several researchers suggested facial types based on facial morphological indices. To find out the difference in the pattern of the human face, image processing can be done with edge detection. Edge (edge) is the edge of the surface of an object. The edge of an image is a different boundary between two areas in an image object. Edge detection is the process of finding the outline of an image object. The purpose of detecting edges is to classify objects in the image and useful for analyzing subsequent images. In detecting images on facial patterns, among others, by applying the Sobel, Roberts and Prewitt methods. From the detection results, it can be concluded that the Sobel method produces image edges that show a clearer pattern and are in accordance with the original image

Abstract

Face recognition is one of the identification systems developed based on differences in facial features of a person who has high accuracy. Currently the Campus Event committee at Nurtanio University is still using manual notes to write the attendance list of students who take part in the activities mentioned above. After observing this, the author is interested in building an application to record attendance using facial recognition. The software development in this research uses the waterfall method with the stages of requirement definition, system design, and implementation. The diagram design uses BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and UML (Unified Modeling Language). The programming language used is Python, OpenCV as image processing and Histogram Of Oriented Gradients (HOG) for face recognition algorithm which has been simplified into a face_recognition library. Software testing with black box method. With this study, attendance recording can be done by recognizing the participants' faces, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing queues

Abstract

In this design a tool is made to monitor the quality of water suitable for use using Arduino Uno. This design uses a pH meter sensor which functions to monitor acid levels in water and a turbidity sensor which is used to see the level of water turbidity. The use of these two sensors is based on the suitability of the water for consumption based on the acid level and the level of turbidity of the water. The results obtained in the design show that Arduino can read the acid levels in the water and see the level of turbidity of the water well so that the designed tools can be used directly to monitor the quality of water suitable for use.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in economic development because of the relatively high level of labor absorption and small capital requirements for investment. The low level of investment and the low growth of new businesses in Indonesia need serious attention in the future in order to develop Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) towards highly competitive businesses. Seeing this, researchers are interested in conducting research by applying the Interative Dichotomiser 3 (ID3) Algorithm method to determine the receipt of MSME funding assistance in an application of this algorithm.

Abstract

Many online shopping users convey an assessment of a product through status comments. Comments indicate a non-standard form of expression. Nowadays, user comments are increasing rapidly, which makes data management difficult. Today's society has so many choices; most of them are used for preference as a final recommendation. The top item shows the preferences of the available items, recommended based on future predictability. The predictive rating of some items is used by the user to recommend the item to other users. Sentiment analysis can recommend items of choice for online shopping in various fields of application, especially in e-commerce. Sentiment analysis is used to identify opinions, ideas, or thoughts from online media. Shopee is one of the largest online business platforms. Classification Sentiment analysis towards Shopee based on the Support Vector Machine (SVM) was used in this study on the Shopee application using 990 training data and 110 test data. From the test data, 28 data entered the negative class and the remaining 82 data entered the positive class and resulted in an accuracy rate of 80.90%, meaning that from 110 assessments there were 89 assessments classified exactly in the sentiment class.

Abstract

Admission of new students is one of the processes that exist in every educational institution such as universities which is useful for screening each selected prospective student. In general, this process is carried out through the registration process, file selection, and announcements. The implementation of new student admissions is carried out on a scheduled and routine basis every year. The purpose of this research is to create a system that can be used to assist the new student admissions department of the University of Nurtanio Bandung in recording prospective new students, the selection process, until the announcement of the results of the new student selection. It is hoped that this will facilitate the process of accepting new students. The proposed system is web-based so that it can be accessed by users anywhere and anytime as long as it is connected to an internet connection. In the implementation of this system using the Laravel framework which has a little execution time so it has a fast loading process

Abstract

Log book is a record book of important events in the management, operation, and navigation of ships. In simple terms, the log book is used by apprentices to record daily or daily / time activities carried out during internships. It can also train apprentices to be disciplined and orderly to record information related to improving the skills of apprentices in the field. The use of the daily log book of apprentices within the Ministry of Communication and Informatics is intended for daily reporting of the activities that have been carried out by apprentices as well as a data recap for the Office of Communication and Information Technology in evaluating whether the learning activities provided are in accordance with the needs of the apprentices or not. By utilizing the website application as an online medium, it will help the reporting process go faster. The electronic log book system has the advantage that research activities can be monitored at any time. The software development method used is waterfall which is built using the PHP programming language, CSS and Bootstrap Framework, as well as database processing using MySQL. The method of testing is done by blackbox, namely testing is done by testing the software in terms of functionality. The results of the research, namely the Internship Diary Log Book Information System at the Semarang City Communication and Informatics Service can help interns to make reports quickly.
