Abstract

AbstrakEducation is the most important aspect for the Indonesian nation. The field of education is one component that has a large enough role to create quality human beings. In Indonesia, education is divided into two, namely formal and non-formal education. Poverty is a factor that makes many students drop out of school. The high cost of education makes people choose to work for their children instead of going to school. The Smart Indonesia Community is one of the communities that provides educational counseling to disadvantaged communities in the Pondok Labu Pemulung Village, which is under the auspices of the Creative Counseling House Foundation. The research was conducted with the aim of knowing the role of the Smart Indonesia Community in carrying out teaching and learning activities and the influence of the community on increasing children's enthusiasm and motivation to learn. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data used in the study were observation and interviews. The location used in this research is the scavenger village, Pondok Labu, South Jakarta. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the Smart Indonesia Community is able to provide educational facilities, education, collaborate with foundations in providing education and facilities, as well as providing technical skills such as package schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of farmers, the development of farmer, the role of agricultural extention agent, and analyze the role of agricultural extension agent in the development of farmer group in Ciampea Udik District. The whole 18 members of farmers group were the respondents of the research. Data were analyzed by Statistical Package of the Social Science (SPSS). The results showed that the level of the role of agricultural extension agent in the development of farmer in Ciampea Udik District is high.

Abstract

Jejak SeribuPreneur is a community development program implemented in the Village of Tidung Island, Thousand Islands, DKI Jakarta. Jejak Seribu Preneur program aims to develop the business of members of the target group by making various improvements, including financial capital improvement, physical capital improvement and human resources capital improvement. One of the stages of community development activities is the evaluation stage, where the function of the evaluation stage to see the success of the program, in this case the Jejak Seribu Preneur program. This study uses evaluation model according to Pietrzak, et al., where according to him there are three stages of evaluation, namely input evaluation, process evaluation and results evaluation. This study uses qualitative approach with descriptive research type, where researchers will describe what it is related to the findings of the study based on observations, interviews, documentation and literature. This research aims to find out the planning, implementation and results of the Jejak Seribu Preneur program in Tidung Island Village. The result of this research is the success of the Jejak Seribu Preneur program in developing the business of members of the target group, this can be seen from the differences, namely the increase in revenue, the increase in science and knowledge, and the expanding sales market.

Abstract

Abstract Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) are a type of business that is still growing rapidly in Indonesia. There are still many SME actors who have weak economic values, this is due to low business capital ownership so that business actors tend to seek loans with easy and quick access conditions. Loans through moneylenders are considered to be able to help the economic activities of business actors, on the other hand moneylenders have some bad impacts that can harm the borrower because they provide early discounts and interest. This study aims to determine the process and results of empowerment in the Moneylender Kampung Bebas Rentenir. This study uses a qualitative approach. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data was analyzed using the data analysis technique proposed by Miles and Huberman, and Triangulation was used as data validity technique. The results of the research that have been obtained show that in the implementation of empowering SME in the program Kampung Bebas Rentenir, there is an empowerment process including awareness process, knowledge transformation, and intellectual ability improvement. The results of the empowerment of SME carried. The results of the empowerment of SME carried by Rumah Pemberdayaan Masyarakat in program Kampung Bebas Rentenir is to have the ability to fulfill basic needs, to increase income, and to participate in development.

Abstract

Rumah Zakat is a non-government organization (NGO) engaged in the humanitarian field by managing zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, and other humanitarian funds with the aim that they can be managed properly and channeled appropriately and effectively as well as productively. Self smile program. is an empowerment program carried out by Rumah Zakat with a focus on empowering small and micro businesses for the lower middle class to reduce poverty levels. The success of the independent smile program in Mekar Jaya Village is influenced by the empowerment strategy carried out by the village facilitator with Rumah Zakat. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the empowerment strategy of Rumah Zakat in alleviating poverty (2) the results of the empowerment of Rumah Zakat in alleviating poverty. By using a qualitative research methodology, the results of this study indicate that the strategy used by Rumah Zakat in alleviating poverty is the strategy proposed by Ismawan (Priyono, 1996) in Mardikanto and Soebianto (2012:170), namely: Human resource development, Institutional development group, Community (private) capital fertilization, productive business development, productive business development. From the research results, there are several empowerment results, namely economic, education, health, spiritual. From the results of the study, four indicators of empowerment results, three indicators are declared to have maximum results, but one indicator, namely spirituality, is still not optimal.

Abstract

Masyarakat sejahtera adalah suatu tata kehidupan dan penghidupan masyarakat baik materil maupun spiritual yang diliputi oleh rasa takut, keselamatan kesusilaan dan ketentraman lahir dan batin. Perkebunan merupakan salah satu sektor pertanian yang potensial di Indonesia dan kelapa menjadi komoditas yang dikembangkan sebagai bahan baku dalam industri gula kelapa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil upaya mensejahterakan petani gula kelapa melalui sertifikasi organik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif.  Upaya untuk mensejahterakan dapat dilihat dari jumlah ketersediaan dan kepastian pasokan bahan baku kelapa, kualitas kelapa yang dihasilkan, ketersediaan sumber daya manusia, pangsa pasar yang luas, infrastruktur dan sarana transportasi, dukungan masyarakat sekitar. Upaya pengkapasitasan sudah dilakukan dengan kegiatan pelatihan-pelatihan dan pendampingan intensif dalam pengembangan produksi gula kelapa. Dalam perluasan akses pasar terkendala pada koperasi yang sering mengalami vacum atau hambatan dalam sertifikasi organik. Hasilnya kelompok menjadi lebih percaya diri, kesempatan untuk mengembangkan produksi gula, sekaliugus dapat berwirausaha.

Abstract

The problems faced by Female Sex Workers (FSWs) are low economic problems, vulnerability to HIV/AIDS or STIs, and not having other decent work options. Yayasan Anak dan Perempuan (YAP) is a foundation that assists FSWs in North Jakarta to change their social, health, and economic conditions. This study aims to describe the roles of YAP, the results of empowerment, and identify inhibiting and supporting factors in the health and economic empowerment among FSWs through the HIV/AIDS Program and the Economic and Education Program. This study used a qualitative research method, purposive sampling technique, data mining through observations, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that YAP plays facilitative roles, educational roles, representational roles, and technical roles in health and economic empowerment among FSWs. The results of empowerment in the fields of education and health are considered optimal, while in the spiritual and economic fields are considered not optimal. Several factors that hindered YAP in empowering PSP are there is no provision of religious education, no further training regarding tips for maintaining and developing a business, etc. Supporting factors, include: mentoring is carried out by staff who have the same experience as FSWs, etc.

Abstract

This study aims to determine participation and benefits in the management of the Serasi Garbage Bank with the formulation of the problem: (1) How does public participation in the management of the Serasi Garbage Bank in Dago Benda Baru Pamulang South Tangerang  (2) What are the benefits of the Serasi Garbage Bank in the Dago Benda Baru Pamulang Tangerang area South. The research methodology conducted by researchers is research conducted through a descriptive qualitative approach. Qualitative research is research that produces analytical procedures that do not use statistical analysis procedures or other quantitative methods, namely data obtained in the form of words, images and behavior. Through the Serasi Garbage Bank program, is a program that establishes and invites the community to manage household waste properly, the Serasi Garbage Bank program is an individual and collective waste management system with the principle of recycling cooperation with business partners.The benefits of managing the Serasi Garbage Bank, on the social aspects of the community, are concerned about waste and the environment. Economic aspects are still relatively small or a little income from weighing but can be an added value for the community. This aspect of the environment becomes cleaner, more beautiful and safer.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to explain the role and analyze the results of community empowerment through activities at the Tri Alam Lestari Waste Bank to improve environmental quality. This study uses a qualitative approach and purposive techniques in the selection of research informants. Data mining is done by means of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. Using data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, and data validity techniques using source triangulation. Based on research that has been carried out, the Tri Alam Lestari Waste Bank carries out the roles of Facilitative Roles, Educational Roles, Representational Roles and Technical Roles in community empowerment to improve environmental quality through activities in the waste bank. The results of the empowerment in this study indicate that the Tri Alam Lestari Waste Bank through the activities carried out can improve the quality of the environment, as seen from the increasingly clean and well-maintained environment and the people who are starting to become aware of protecting the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Religious moderation is one of the keys to creating tolerance and harmony. In a multicultural society like Indonesia, which has the largest Muslim population in the world, religious moderation is important. Religious moderation strives so that religious people are expected to treat others well, accept differences, and live together in peace and harmony. However, religious moderation in Islam is still lacking and there is a low sense of tolerance in society. One of them is that punk children are always underestimated when carrying out worship. Not only that. when they do good they are always suspected and underestimated. Therefore, the research method used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study, namely the founder of Underground Tasawuf, namely Ustad Halim Ambiya, punk children, and street children who have settled in Underground Tasawuf. Data sourced from primary data and secondary data. The results of the study show that the implementation of religious moderation plays an important role in punk and street children after being educated through the Underground Sufism community.
