Abstract

Hyperbilirubinemia is one of the most common clinical phenomena in newborns, where hyperbilirubinemia occurs in 60% of Neonatus 35 weeks and 80% of Neonatus 35 weeks. Many factors influence hyperbilirubinemia. Hyperbilirubinemia if not handled properly can have serious consequences such as: kernicterus, chore athetoid cerebral palsy, hearing and cognitive impairment. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the occurrence of hyperbilirubinemia and determine the relationship between breastfeeding, type of childbirth, birth weight, gestational age and asphyxia in infants at RSUD dr.Gunawan Mangunkusumo. This research is an analytical research with a cross sectional design. The sampling technique used total sampling, with a total of 52 infans as the sample size. Univariate data analysis was conducted using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis was performed using the chi-square test. The results of the univariate analysis showed that 65.4% of the infants with breastfeeding were fulfilled, 61.5% of action childbirth, 57.7% of normal birth weight, 53.8% of term gestational and 59.6% of asphyxia. There was a relationship between breastfeeding with a ρ-value of 0.014, there was no relationship with the types of childbirth with a ρ-value of 0.628, there was a relationship between birth weight and a ρ-value of 0.038, there was a relationship between gestational age with a ρ-value of 0.016, there was no relationship between asphyxia and a ρ-value 0.226 with the occurrence of hyperbilirubinemia. It is hoped that health workers will be more proactive in providing motivation and education to postpartum mothers and their families about breastfeeding and signs of hyperbilirubinemia symptoms as an effort to prevent and early detect hyperbilirubinemia

Abstract

The main indicator is the maternal mortality rate that can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of a maternal health program (MMR). Husband's understanding and support affects postpartum visits. The purpose of this study was to investigate how maternal compliance with postpartum visits at the work area of Sidomulyo Health Center in Bengkulu City is related to knowledge and husband's support. The design of this study was analytical with a cross-sectional perspective. In 2021, Sidomulyo Health Center in Bengkulu City will receive 176 mothers with children over 42 days old. 62 mothers with children over 42 days old were selected for the sample. Purposive sampling was used as the sampling method. The chi-square statistical test was used in data analysis  with univariate and bivariate models. The majority of women have little knowledge (51.6%),good knowledge (48.4%), the majority do not receive help (54.8%), the majority receive support (45.2%), majority non-compliant (56.5%), and majority compliant (43.5%), according to research results using univariate analysis. According to the study's bivariate statistical results, acquaintances have a p-value of 0.023 ± 0.05 and spousal support has a p-value of 0.000 ± 0.05 for each variable. Wherever they are tasked with helping more mothers get postpartum visits, Puskesmas looks for suggestions  to further strengthen their role in promoting the benefits of postpartum visits

Abstract

The phenomenon of promiscuity and public sex among Indonesian teenagers is increasingly worrying. Adolescents have the highest rate of STI infection compared to other age groups. The low level of knowledge among adolescents is one of the reasons why the  incidence of sexually transmitted diseases among adolescents is high. Health education through booklets is a way to increase knowledge for adolescents. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of health education using pamphlets in increasing adolescents' knowledge about sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in SMAS Diponegoro Tumpang, Malang Regency. The design of this study was a pretest design with a single-group pretest-posttest design. The population used was class XI SMAS Diponegoro Tumpang with a total of 89 people and a sample of 40 people using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Analyze the data using the Wilcoxon signed rank test and the results obtain p-value = 0.000, so we can conclude that the p-value is less than (0.000 0.05), we it can be concluded that there exists an effect of health education by media booklet to increase adolescents' knowledge about sexually transmitted infections (STIs) at SMAS Diponegoro Tumpang, Malang Regency. In addition to being easy to read anytime, anywhere, textbooks also have another advantage: they have images that can attract and arouse the interest of educational subjects in reading.

Abstract

Infant mortality is a global health problem. Approximately 60% of these deaths were infants aged 7 days with perinatal disorders, one of which was asphyxia. Asphyxia neonatorum is the failure to breathe spontaneously and regularly immediately after the baby is born. The indicator of a newborn health is looking at the baby’s weight. Inadequate blood flow occurs so that it affects hematological levels which have an important role in the formation of immunity and the continuity of oxygen in the blood to all cells and tissues in the baby’s body. The design of research is descriptive quantitative with a single variable using a retrospective approach. This research was conducted from March to May 2022. The sampling method used a total sampling technique with a sample of 100 secondary data. Data analysis was performed using univariate analysis with descriptive statistical methods. The results showed that most of the babies had low birth weight of 67%. Hematology levels showed a normal scale, that is haemoglobin 78%, haematocrit 71%, erythrocytes 59%, and leukocytes 80%. The conclusion of this study is that most infants with asphyxia neonatorum have low birth weight and normal hematological levels. From the results of the study, it is hoped that the optimization of integrated ANC implementation, monitoring Body Mass Index of pregnant women, and anticipation of pregnancy problem can be carried out to reduce infant mortality cases, especially asphyxia

All samples were given intervention using index card match media by playing index card match twice. The research results show an increase in knowledge, attitudes, and the behavior of young  women after being given health education using media index card match regarding menstrual hygiene with Wilcoxon test results each p-value 0.000 (0.05) for the level of knowledge, attitudes and behavior. It is hoped that the results of this research can add to thisknowledge of young women about menstrual hygiene and young women canapply the knowledge about menstrual hygiene that has been acquired tochange attitudes and behavior in order to adopt a healthy life.
