Jurnal Olahraga Papua (JOP) biannually publishes research on various aspects of the sports and exercise sciences, including anatomy, biomechanics, performance analysis, physiology, psychology, sports medicine, sports nutrition, health, and well-being, as well as coaching and talent identification and physical education. The Journal also publishes review articles and book reviews. The Journal focuses on the human sciences including responses to technologies such as the design of sports equipment and training facilities, athlete selection and recruitment, performance analysis or modification, and stress reduction. To be considered for publication, manuscripts must original and relevant to the aforementioned topics. It is published by the Master of Sports Education and the Sports Science Faculty, the University of Cenderawasih. However, the readership for this Journal covers academics to practitioners from a range of disciplines and topics of interest. All articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing.

Abstract

Pengaruh latihan shuttle-run dan zig-zag terhadap kemampuan dribbling bola pada siswa sekolah sepakbola (SSB) Immanuel usia 13-15 di Kabupaten Jayapura. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh latihan shuttle-run terhadap kemampuan dribbling bola pada siswa SSB Imanuel, (2) pengaruh latihan zig-zag terhadap kemampuan dribbling bola pada Siswa SSB Imanuel, (3) latihan yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dribbling bola pada siswa sekolah sepak bola (SSB) Imananuel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Ada pengaruh latihan dengan menggunakan metode latihan Shuttle-run terhadap kemampuan dribbling pada Siswa Sekolah Bola (SSB) Imanuel usia 13-15 tahun.; (2) Ada pengaruh latihan dengan menggunakan metode latihan Zig-zag terhadap kemampuan dribbling pada Siswa Sekolah Bola (SSB) Imanuel usia 13-15 tahun; (3) Latihan dengan metode Zig-zag lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dribbling bola pada siswa sekolah sepak bola (SSB) Imanuel.

Abstract

Abstract. Research and Development method has been performed to produce a new instructional model on passing skill games performance of V grade male elementary school students. Research and Development was carried out to analyze students’ need assessment and to examine product affectivity during teaching-learning process. The subjects of the research were 30 V grade male students from Kemayoran 04 Public Elementary School - Jakarta.Research and Development has been applied and data has been analyzed, yield some conclusion: (1) the new instructional model on passing skill games performance could improve student’s basic passing skill, (2) with the new instructional model, students showed more active contribution and enthusiasm during teaching-learning process, (3) teachers have several game models for learning basic skills of passing football.Keyword: instructional model games performance, passing skill, needs assessment, product.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rasa penasaran peneliti untuk mencaritahu pengaruh metode latihan pliometrik dan HIIT terhadap peningkatan kapasitas VO2Max. Kapasitas VO2Max yang tinggi khususnya bagi mahasiswa FIK Universitas Cenderawasih merupakan cermin status kebugaran seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode latihan pliometrik dan HIIT terhadap peningkatan kapasitas VO2Max. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperiment design atau eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan bentuk OneGroup Pretest and Posttest Design, yaitu eksperimen yang dilaksanakan pada satu kelompok tanpa kelompok pembanding. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Cenderawasih yang berjumlah 50 orang. Tahapan analisis data yang perlu dilakukan adalah pertama, melakukan uji prasyarat analisis yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, dan yang kedua yaitu uji hipotesis dan dilanjutkan dengan persentase peningkatan. Hasil yang didapat dari perhitungan data tersebut diperoleh nilai thitung (-10,26) < t(0,05)(34) (2,042) dan P (0,005) < α (0,05). Maka ada pengaruh yang signifikan motode latihan HIIT dan Pliometrik terhadap peningkatan Vo2Max.

Abstract

ABSTRACT : The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different combinations of solutions of glucose: fructose 30%: 70% with a combination solution of glucose: fructose 50%: 50% of blood glucose levels before and after sub-maximal physical activity. Research to be done was quasi-experimental using the randomized pre-test and post-test design. Research subjects, amounting to 8 people aged 21-24 years were given two different treatments, namely K1 solution that will consume the combination of glucose: fructose 30%: 70% and K2 solution that will consume the combination of glucose: fructose 50%: 50%. Exercise in this study was sub-maximal ergocycle by pedaling a bicycle using 80% HR-max for 6 minutes. Measurement of blood glucose were performed by means of artificial Blood Glucose Meter with San Diego-American units of mg/dL. The data obtained was analyzed by descriptive statistics, normality test, paired samples test and independent samples test with a significance level of 0.05. Thus we can conclude that: (1) Increased blood glucose levels prior to the activity of the combination of glucose: fructose 30%:70% was not lower than the combination of glucose: fructose 50%:50%. (2). Decrease in blood glucose levels after activity on providing a combination of glucose: fructose 30%: 70% was not lower than the combination of glucose: fructose 50%:50%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cabang olahraga apa yang menjadi dominasi pilihan siswa yang akan masuk ke PPLP Papua. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survay dengan menggunakan total sampel sebanyak 320 siswa. Tempat penelitian adalah kantor Dinas Pemuda dan olahraga Provinsi papua pada bulan November 2017. Hasil penelitian bahwa Cabor yang banyak diminati oleh calon siswa adalah cabor sepakbola dengan jumlah peminat 140 orang kemudian dayung 41 orang disusul pencak silat 36 dan atletik 21 siswa.

Abstract

Abstract : Development of Skills to Trainer of the sprinter through the program of TOT. The study of application is aiming for trainers and athletes of sprinter to apply a variety of techniques as training models in the movements feet and arms. And also to have the ability to lead and apply Sport Science and Technology. The study used methods of class Action with the approach of 2 cycles. The procedure consists of: (1) Action plan, (2) Application of action, (3) Observation and evaluation, (4) Analysis and reflection. The techniques and data gained from: interviews, questioners and observation. The results from action 1 (cycle 1) can be concluded as follow: Two of trainers (28%) could be able to submit and apply the techniques of training models, the movements of the feet, legs, arms and hands and also Sports Science and  Technology. Four trainers (59%) could be able to submit and could not practice the training program yet. Five of trainers (70%) failed to use the techniques of training models and the techniques to move feet/legs, arms and hands also Sports Science and Technology. Later on the second cycles it is concluded that: All of trainers (100%) could be able to submit and practice the techniques to move feet/legs, arms/hands and also Sports Science and Technology. Suggestions: The study of this Sports Action should be continued in order to improve the skill of the athletes. How to use the study of Sports Action to promote and popularize the numbers of athletic sports.Keys: The skill to train 100 m, 200 m and 400 m.

Abstract

Abstrack: fieldball modification can increase  learn motivation games with big ball at studies X class SMAN 1 Sentani. Purpose this research is to find out of learn motivation student to standart competition as games with big ball. This research is action class research with two cycles.Research result : after student following process learning by modification field ball, were knew before process learning , more from student fill be afraid, keeping cool, falt slack following learning psycal education, have increase learn motivation changes to brave, energetic, and active to learning psycal education.Conclusion : increase learn motivation from before done modification, knew avarage learn motivation 2,69, and after modification field ball increase to 2,90, and in cycles cnd increase 3,35, so field ball modification be certain can increase learn motivation to student. Keyword : Modification, field ball, games with big ball

Abstract

Achievement of maximum sports achievement is an integrated process involving various aspects and disciplines, including the availability and quality of facilities and infrastructure, human resources, To improve the performance of Indonesian athletes in the future, especially the achievements of young athletes of Papua, it is necessary to improve and improve the system of training and training of sports including the nutritional status of students / young athletes by first ensuring the adequacy of student food intake begins by looking at the implementation of the meal. This research will analyze the food administration system at SMANKOR Papua in hopes to give description about the implementation and achievement of the program and its impact on the intake and nutritional status of the students Based on the above background, it is seen that the implementation of food implemented by the institution will have an impact on the fulfillment of nutritional intake which is a basic requirement for juvenile athletes to perform daily activities and sports and ultimately will affect the achievement achievement causing researchers interested in conducting analysis of food administration system SMANKOR Papua.. Based on the results of research and data analysis results that have been done, can be obtained: 1) The number of food processing personnel is ideal because students who served amounted to 135 people; (2) The implementation of food generally works well, except on processing because sometimes the menu is presented not in accordance with the master menu, and (3) Menu changes is done after communication with the school and the menu replaced still meet the nutritional needs of school children.

Abstract

Abstrack: Mutation athlete phenomenon pre PON XVII. Porpuse this research for fine data about mutation athlete phenomenon Pre PON XVII,   the research race  is descriptive research .  subject research is management KONI provinsi, top organization sport propinsi, coach, and athlete whose prepare to PON XVII at Kalimantan timur. Take sampling used quota purposive stratified sampling with technic focus group discussion, questionnaire, and document. Conclusion : (1) athlete mutation pre PON  constitute a phenomenon accomplished fact because domicile, education, job, following wife/husband and parent; (2) mutation  is rightful authority athlete and sport organization must responship; (3) infraction of rule mutation, because athlete or sport organization. Sanction pattern is athlete unallowable appear on PON; (4) prestation at PON not endall to athlete. Mutation must be compensation to  development of relationship for province; (5) mutation  have to impact  athlete prosperity, compensation  to development from province  athlete destination, must can be development to management province, management regency, so this compensation must until to club; (6) athlete mutation have  positif impact to self athlete but not yet to coach.Key word: Mutation Athlete, PON

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rasa penasaran peneliti untuk mencaritahu apakah bentuk metode latihan ultra - short interval sprint training memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan prestasi lari 100 meter ditinjau dari kekuatan otot tungkai masing – masing pelari. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen 1 faktor dengan dua level. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Cenderawasih yang berjumlah 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Leg Dynamometer dan Tes lari 100 meter. Teknik analisi data yang digunakan adalah uji analisis varian (ANAVA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai peningkatan kecepatan lari 100 meter Ultra - Short Interval Sprint Training (kekuatan otot tungkai tinggi) 2,104, dan nilai peningkatan kecepatan lari 100 meterShort Interval Sprint Training (kekuatan otot tungkai rendah) 428. Penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh sebelum dengan sesudah memperoleh pelatihan Metode Ultra - Short Interval Sprint Training. Pengaruh terbesar terhadap peningkatan prestasi lari 100 meter terjadi pada metode latihan Ultra - Short Interval Sprint Training deangan kekuatan otot tungkai tinggi.
