JPMI memiliki ruang lingkup nasional, mencakup berbagai topik seputar pemberdayaan kewirausahaan masyarakat yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengembangan dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran-pemikiran dan gagasan-gagasan konseptual serta hasil-hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai dalam bidang pengabdian kepada dan pengembangan masyarakat. JPMI berisi berbagai gagasan, penemuan, dan hasil penelitian dari berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan baik oleh para mahasiswa maupun dosen Universitas Prasetiya Mulya dan institusi lain dalam menangani dan mengelola berbagai potensi, kesulitan, tantangan dan beragam permasalahan terkait pengembangan wirausaha masyarakat yang diselenggarakan PPKM Universitas Prasetiya Mulya maupun institusi pendidikan atau lembaga lain. Kegiatan pengembangan masyarakat (Community Development) yang diselenggarakan PPKM Prasetiya Mulya dan institusi lain, dalam konteks lingkup jurnal ini, melibatkan masyarakat sebagai mitra dan bertujuan untuk pengembangan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Rempeyek is one of the complementary food from Indonesia that has unique form, different texture, and it also has many different topping to make a rempeyek. Beside rempeyek, rengginang is also our job as a Prasetiya Mulya student in Community Development subject to improve their business and our partner name is Ibu Lilis. The first problem is that Ibu Lilis didn’t have a brand or logo, didn’t have a good neat product, didn’t have enough capital, lack of human resource, and lack of knowledge to make a financial records. The solution to increase small scale business and wider market were consignment strategy, create a new brand and logo, change the quality of the packaging to become more durable. Method that we used for this solution is SWOT. This is done by practicing directly with partners to provide knowledge about all aspects; marketing, finance, operations, and human resources to develop partner businesses to be more developed. Finally, The product that Ibu Lilis produced can grow to be better quality, have a structured financial report, and get higher profit than before.

Abstract

Robotics is one of the right media to introduce the field of technology to students because it can help in the development of thinking, sharpening capabilities in thinking, and the ability to form concepts. The development of robot technology is currently experiencing a rapid increase so it is important for students to gain robotics knowledge to face challenges in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. But not all schools have the facilities and human resources for learning robotics. SMK Negeri I Kramatwatu in the Serang area are currently studying robot technology but only in theory, so the results are not effective. This Community Service activity is carried out as an effort to improve the knowledge and skills of students at SMK Negeri I Kramatwatu in the form of training in making Line Follower robots, a type of mobile robot whose mission is to detect and follow a guideline that has been created in the field of trajectories. Line Follower Robot was chosen as training material because this robot is one type of automatic robot that is not too complicated in its manufacture. In this training, the participants were divided into 4 groups, each guided by one mentor. The results of community service show students' enthusiasm and desire to obtain knowledge in making Line Follower robots. This can be seen when tested on robots that have been made by 4 groups of participants, namely from 4 groups of participants 3 groups have succeeded in making a Line Follower robot that can run automatically in following the trajectory.

Abstract

This Paper is a result of community engangement activies aimed to described how economic development of Wanayasa society through tematic village which as a tourism destination in the city of Purwakarta and food and non food product. This paper try to explore any possibility of Wanayasa to be a tematic village through to ways. Method of this paper is qualitative approached by using focus group discussions, indepth intervies and visiting site. There are two important result of this community engangement activities. there two possibility to create tematic vilage of wanayasa, as product, by using tea leaved and by using tourism approach as wnayasa habe Goa Jepang (japanese cave). There are some limitations to develop such a tematic village in Wanayasa, such as less of infrastructured arround goa jepang. Limitations of village tematic by using product approach is lack of skill and lack of distribution and marketing of the product either food or non food.

Abstract

The rapid development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Indonesia is one of the reasons the Community Service (PKM) activities are being held by Prasetiya Mulya University. Aside from being a learning facility for students, this activity also aims to help residents of Cianjur, especially in the village of Cipendawa, to improve the quality and develop their business. In this journal, the programs main focus is to help Mekarsari, a business that sells snacks and snacks since 1996. To improve product quality, efficiency, and productivity, the writing team replaced damaged production equipment, changed the layout of the workstation for packaging and storage, installing stickers on product packaging, consignment at food stalls, and providing debriefing for daily freelancers and bookkeeping. The achievements of this activity are a decrease in the number of defects and increased productivity in the production process, increasing efficiency in the packaging process, adding distribution channels, giving identity to products by giving stickers, and business’ owner being able to take notes of cash flow neatly and systematically.

Abstract

Palm sugar is one of a well known type of sugar from Indonesia, where back then there are so many people working as a palm sugar farmers as a livelihood for everyday life. Nowadays, people who work as palm sugar farmers is decreasing due to the depletion of palm sugar resources and a shift in the community's perspective on the profession of palm sugar farmers in Pakuon Village. Even though the demand of the palm sugar is increasing both domestically and internationally, given the many benefits offered by the palm sugar. This study aims to improve the welfare of palm sugar farmers in Pakuon Village with the development of aspects of production, marketing, and prospects for products that can be produced from palm sugar. The result is an improvement in the production perspective by increasing security which affects farmers' productivity levels. From the marketing perspective, consignment to stalls and packaging is equipped with a logo and contact number increases its brand awareness. Last but not least, the product itself could be develop into another new product called “klepon”, klepon is one of the most famous traditional food in Indonesia and becoming a trend in Pakuon Village because we are pioneer to introduce klepon in Pakuon Village.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of village financial administration in four villages in Kalasan sub-district, Sleman namely Purwomartani, Selomartani, Tamanmartani, and Tirtomartani. Village financial administration includes recording and administering revenue and expenditure activities carried out by the village treasurer both manually and use financial applications. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach by taking respondents with purposive sampling. Collecting data was conducted by in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation with the village treasurer and village finance committee. The analytical method used a comparative analysis between villages based on Ministry of Internal Affairs Regulation No. 113 of 2014. The results of this study showed that village financial administration has been carried out through the Village Finance System (Siskeudes) application. Not all administrative activities carried out by village financial managers, some are carried out by village companions. There are several obstacles in the implementation of village financial administration, i.e. human resources, lack of understanding of regulations, lack of supervision and infrastructure facilities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by that high motivation of “mitra” in carrying out her daily business operation. This activity aims to find out how the business motivation within the micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) “do-er (pelaku)”, namely in the packaged snacks sector, will affect performance and the sustainability of a business. Two subjects that the researcher would like to raise are the kinds of partner’s motivation and its effect on the business sustainability. In conducting this research, the literature review used is the theories of business motivation, factors that influence motivation, and the affect of motivations on business continuity. The research method used is by library study, observation, and interview. The researcher concluded that the forms of motivation that have been carried out by partners have proven to have a big influence in providing results, namely the sustainability of the partners' business up to now.

Abstract

Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) is a social organization that aims as a means of community development. PKBM has various activities in it, one of which is the Business Learning Group (KBU) which is currently not running due to constraints in management. We as a group work together with PKBM in developing KBU activities so that the potential of PKBM community members can be maximized. Groups help in terms of operations, marketing, human resources, and finance. From an operational point of view focused on the snack products produced, in terms of marketing supported for consignment systems and sales with online media, in terms of human resources a management system is made so that it is organized and financially in order to record more details. This facilitator is expected to help the activities at the KBU which lead to the implementation of activities in PKBM in order to help social problems. The resulting product focuses on snacks, especially roll chips and chopsticks that do not require special abilities. HR Management is the main challenge for the group to determine the person in charge of the activities at KBU so that the business can run continuously. Making this management system in the KBU will be the main focus so that the community economy in PKBM can develop.

Abstract

This paper aims to utilize the Digital Marketing Channel in terms of expanding the marketing of Sarongge Instant Red Ginger. this paper is based on the difficulties that partner’s experience upon doing the marketing and the usage of Digital Marketing Channel, and thus the authors feels that the brand awareness from the product is still very low. as for the reason of utilizing Digital Marketing Channel is aimed to overcomes the weaknesses that happens during the consignment such as the length of product turnover, the lack of network marketing, and the high cost of transportation in product distribution. By having the Digital Marketing Channel, authors finds the solution to resolve those problems by using platforms like Tokopedia, Instagram, and Whatsapp so that the product sales not only concentrated in the Cipanas area. With the use of Digital Marketing Channel, it is evident that the sales of Sarongge Instant Red Ginger increases by 66% and the products can be purchased by the community anytime.

Abstract

Community Development is one of the best program of Prasetiya Mulya University in collaboration with various small businesses in remote areas of Cianjur and Cipanas. We had the opportunity to help Ms. Wiwi's mochi business in Cianjur. Mochi production by the community, especially Taman Jaya Dua Village, Gadog Village, Pacet District, Cianjur Regency, has high potential to be developed both in terms of quantity and quality. Many processes must be passed as the time goes by to help develop partners' mochi businesses, including increasing standardization and sub-branding of mochi styles, compiling production SOPs, using safe preservatives, making online marketing media, adding competent workforce, and monitoring business financial performance independent. Our results are very satisfying. Ms. Wiwi as the business owner is also very happy and open with the input we provide. The results we get from Community Service activities are very satisfying as well. The income earned by Ms. Wiwi has also improved in line with the development of Mochi Gaya.
