Abstract

Tax Socialization's Impact An empirical study on taxpayers enrolled at the Cibinong Pratama Tax Service Office in West Java examined the relationship between tax knowledge, taxpayer awareness, and tax sanctions as moderating factors on individual taxpayer compliance (supervised by Dr Ronny Andesto, SE, MM). At KPP Pratama Cibinong in West Java, this study aims to ascertain the impact of Tax Socialization, Tax Knowledge, and Taxpayer Awareness with Tax Sanctions as a moderating variable. 130 individual taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama Cibinong in West Java received questionnaires distributing the primary data. Between February and April 2020, the survey was carried out. The Partial Least Square (PLS) software was used to analyze the data. The study's findings indicate that tax socialization has a significant positive impact on individual taxpayer compliance, tax knowledge has a significant positive impact on individual taxpayer compliance, and tax payer awareness has no significant positive impact. Socialization of taxation moderated by sanctions has no significant impact on compliance with individual taxpayers, and knowledge of tax moderated by sanctions has no significant impact either

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) and Generational Groups on Employee Engagement using the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) intervention method on the POS variable. This research was conducted at a government agency in Aceh. The population is 126 people. For research subjects or FGD participants, there are seven people. The research method used a quasi-experimental with one treatment and a post-treatment group. The hypothesis is designed based on the theoretical framework and research concept. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there is a significant influence of POS on employee engagement, referring to the results of the Wilcoxon test with a coefficient of Z: -2.371 and p <0.05 or an Asymp Sig value of 0.018 <0.05. This is consistent with the existing theory that POS affects employee engagement. However, employee engagement is more to the job than to the organization, which is still relatively low. The group dynamics during the FGD were quite visible; participants exchanged different opinions and perceptions about POS to provide new insights leading to changes in views and perceptions about POS, which would affect employee engagement. Meanwhile, the generation found no effect on employee engagement based on the Chi-Square statistical test with an Asymp Sig value of 0.292 > 0.05. This may be due to the limitations of the research subjects. During the FGD process, the participants provided positive input for increasing organizational support for employees, which they believed would later impact increasing employee engagement

Abstract

Banjarmasin City is situated on an alluvial soil type characterized by clay structures with a relatively low soil carrying capacity; hence, soil stabilization is required. The soil is stabilized using a variety of techniques. Stabilization techniques include using geotextiles, columns, sand stabilizing the soil itself, and stabilizing concrete mix. Implementation at the existing project site is stability stable pending catastrophe. In order the soil's carrying capacity, a depression is created at a predetermined distance beneath the soil, which is generally soft. The method of implementation utilized to assist in the preparation of this research includes data collecting and analysis of the obtained results. This evaluation's data sources consist of secondary data and data processing. By utilizing a static living load of 22.68 tons and the results of the calculation, it is determined that the load acting on the road construction is 33.2415 tons. The Schmertmann- Nottingham technique (1975) yielded a Qult Single of 1.245 and a Qgroup permit of 10.27 tonnes for the carrying capacity of the Galam woodGalam with a pile depth of 5 meters

Abstract

Taxes are a burden on corporations that eat into corporate profits, whereas taxes on a country are revenues that are used to pay for government spending. These differences motivate companies to manage their tax liabilities. Corporate values are also influenced by high corporate profitability. The purpose of the study is whether tax avoidance affects firm value and whether weakening profitability increases the effect of tax avoidance on firm value. The study will be conducted from April 1 to July 1, 2022. The underlying theories of this research are agency theory and signaling theory. The subjects of this study include 14 multinational companies registered on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period 2017-2021, representing a sample of 70 companies. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive, pooled, classical hypothesis testing, simple linear regression analysis test, moderate regression analysis (MRA), test f, test t, and r2. Data obtained from (www.idx.co.id) and (www.idnfinancials). Research shows that tax avoidance has a significant positive impact on firm value. At the same time, modest profitability does not significantly increase the effect of tax avoidance on firm value

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how perks and convenience affect consumers' intentions to continue doing business online. Students from several Surabaya tertiary universities who used the Buka Bukalapak website to conduct online transactions made up the research respondents. Multiple regression analysis is utilized to evaluate the presented hypothesis, with benefits and convenience acting as independent variables and interest in continuing online transactions acting as a dependent variable. The findings demonstrated that the advantages and ease had a notable favorable impact on the desire to continue online transactions on the Buka Bukalapak website. This demonstrates that the greater the benefits of conducting business on the Bukalapak website and the greater the consumer's comfort level with conducting business on the Bukalapak website, the greater the consumer's interest in conducting business again

Abstract

A mathematical modelling was conducted to determine if palm length could predict male height. The study was conducted using 40 not obese male of different ages in the year 2020. Their palm length was measured using a ruler and their height were measured using a standard tape measure. This study is an attempt to find the relationship between palm length and height and to give an alternative way to measure a height using other body parts, in this study the palm length. A linear regression analysis was used after the palm length and height were measured. It was found out that palm length could predict the height and the height is approximately nine times the palm length with 97.6% accuracy. It was recommended to study other body parts that could determine the height

Abstract

In the City of Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara Province, the development carried out by the government continues. One of them is the construction of a park which is a green open space for the community. One of the parks which is very popular as a recreation area in the City of Kupang is the Nostalgia Park, therefore researchers are interested in conducting research on the sustainability of the construction of green open spaces in the City of Kupang Nostalgia Park. The method utilized in this study is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, conducted in Kupang City with a total of 15 informants, and data gathering procedures include observation, interview, and document search techniques. The acquired data is then examined using data analysis techniques developed by Creswell (2016: 264-268). The sustainability of the development The Methodology in Sustainable Development Indicators (Department of Economic and Social Affairs, 2001: 14) was used to analyze the green open space in Nostalgia Park in Kupang City, which is described in three aspects with the findings on; (a) the social aspect with the construction of the City of Kupang Nostalgia Park can provide a positive social impact but is still constrained by theft and destruction of park facilities and infrastructure while from an economic aspect the c The availability of city parks as the city's lungs has been fulfilled in the framework of the development of the Kupang City Nostalgia Park

Abstract

Technological advancement has forced the international community to deal with the sixth generation of war, which is a conflict involving the most advanced robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and satellite technology. This shows that warfare has evolved beyond traditional tactics because parties are no longer required to engage in face-to-face combat as they did during the first generation of conflicts. Although the "classic" war still takes place in some regions of the world, it is more sectoral in nature and only in small-scale wars. The researcher needed a description of Indonesian military research and development in dealing with sixth generation warfare: the application of artificial intelligence in military operations, hence the qualitative descriptive research approach was used. The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) must be flexible in light of the dynamics of the world's swift technology advancements, which includes updating defense equipment with artificial intelligence (AI) functionality. Due to increasingly sophisticated danger patterns, the TNI must deploy artificial intelligence, making technological advancements crucial to safeguarding the security of border areas. Keeping the Republic of Indonesia's unitary state intact comes with a "fixed price," one of which is preserving the security of the border region
