Abstract

The selection of study programs in an institution is very important to ensure the study program to be chosen, new student registrants. PGRI Madiun University has several study programs, one of which is the Informatics Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering. In choosing a study program, you must also have interests that must be considered. The purpose of selecting the Informatics engineering study program in choosing a study program is very important to support further learning. In choosing a study program, it is very important to support learning in higher education. In addition, students are more enthusiastic about developing knowledge in the field they have chosen. Therefore, every student who registers as a new student is grouped based on the chosen study program. In data mining analysis, the selection of study programs uses the K-Means method where the K-Means method is a very popular method in clustering, the K-Means algorithm method is one of the best and most popular methods in the clustering algorithm where K-Means looks for the partition that optimally from the data by minimizing the criterion of the number of squared errors with the optimal iteration procedure. Abstract

Many motion graphics techniques have been developed. Now motion graphics are not only in the form of 2D animation, several techniques can change a 2D illustration image or design into a 3D object. This development is of course due to the need for an object that needs to be displayed in 3D to clarify the intent of the design being conveyed. 3D motion graphic techniques can be created using preset, plugins, effects, or simply using various object layers that are processed using masking techniques. In this research, we will discuss techniques for making 3D motion graphics with a case study of an object that rotates the moon and the earth on its axes. The application of the trim and crop comp technique to create 3D animation objects can be developed with other animated objects. This research involved more than 10 of the best tutorials on YouTube as study material and tested to find simple techniques that are easy for beginners to use. The results of the study of the tutorial will be tested for its effectiveness on 160 students who are beginners in learning animation. Hopefully, this technique will not only be learning material for beginners but can also be developed and applied to other objects to facilitate further animation learning.

Abstract

Abstract The Design and visual assets are the most important part of a game. The two-dimension educational game design with Pixel Art styling can provide players a nostalgic impression as well as the understanding of the game. This educational game aims to increase the players' interest in learning, in order that the substance of the research object Kutus-Kutus Oil, can be claimed explicitly. An Infinity Of Kuku game is designed to provide effectiveness and profit of each composition of Kutus-Kutus Oil which is made from 69 composites of various plants. Moreover, it can increase immunity and remedy the body from all kind of diseases together with Covid-19. The method used in this study is the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC). The analysis has attained an Alpha Testing phase under the engineer and team using Game Maker 8.1 tool. Abstract

JogjaBike is an agency in Yogyakarta, where JogjaBike provides tourist bicycle rental services. There are types of MTB bikes, city bikes, folding bikes, and others. However, there have been obstacles in the business process so far, namely the absence of multi-platform digital information about unit availability, types of bicycles, order schedules, bookkeeping, electronic payments, and report generation. Because it still uses a manual process, to complete the administration of orders, the calculation of payment costs is still done manually. Reporting to the admin still uses written reports in the administration section. Based on these problems, JogjaBike requires a website-based tourist bicycle rental information system for the efficient time needed to find the availability of bicycle units, speed up payment calculations made online, and provide reports to the JogjaBike admin. The result of this research is a tourist bicycle rental transaction information system that can display the availability of bicycle units, and choice of bicycle types, speed up registration, speed up the calculation of detailed rental fees, reduce the possibility of errors in the calculation process, and generate reports to the admin.

Abstract

Unemployment is a problem that always arises every year. Open unemployment is categorized as a workforce that is still trying to find work and prepare for business. The long-term impact of unemployment is psychologically bad for the unemployed and their families. Unemployment is a problem that has a very bad impact on the economy and society, therefore it is necessary to make continuous efforts to overcome it. In this study the data used comes from West Java Open Data for 2013-2021. This study uses a data mining technique, namely the K-Means Algorithm. The K-Means method is a clustering method used to divide a data set into several groups. The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of the grouping of districts/cities in West Java Province based on the unemployment rate sinto 2 parts, namely the group with the high unemployment rate and the group with the low unemployment rate. From the grouping results obtained 110 the low cluster and 104 the high cluster. The results of this study are one way the government can create and expand employment opportunities to improve the economy. Especially districts/cities that have minimal employment which causes unemployment. It is hoped that this research can provide information and input for the government so that it can pay more attention to districts/cities in West Java that are included in the category of hih unemployment. Abstract

Bullying in cyberspace, including against students, is common and much goes unreported. A system needs to be created, where someone who gets bullied reports it without worrying about being exposed to the public. Setubully Akprind Web is a web application for reporting and addressing bullying. This study analyzes and develops Setubully Web using the Whistleblowing approach and the Waterfall development model. The development method includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The testing results show that Setubully Web functions well and effectively addresses bullying. Key features such as Home, Complaints, Admin Dashboard, Officer Dashboard, and User Dashboard work effectively. User management, reporting, responses, categories, and user profiles can be efficiently managed. The development of Setubully Web incorporates the Whistleblowing concept, allowing for anonymous or public reporting of complaints or bullying incidents. It is hoped that the website can become an effective platform for reporting and overcoming bullying, creating a safe and comfortable environment for users in the Institut Sains & Teknologi Akprind Yogyakarta in particular, and on other campuses in general.

Abstract

The use of usernames and passwords as authentication requirements on a system that is used repeatedly can make account security on the system vulnerable to data theft. One of the methods to avoid authentication data theft is the One Time Password (OTP) technique, which uses a key that is temporary and will disappear after a while or after use.. In this research, the OTP code sent will be used as an OTP key and password replacement to authenticate to the system. This research method uses waterfall which has stages such as: a) Data Collection; b) Algorithm and Application Design; c) Coding or Implementation; d) Testing; e) Deployment. This study presents how the application workflow, web service routing and database design are used.. The test results in this study went well and according to the algorithm design and the formulated application workflow where users can authenticate the system using email and OTP codes instead of passwords.. The OTP code can be sent by the web service and received by the user. This research is expected to contribute to system security by authentication using a unique code as a substitute for a password that users receive via e-mail registered in the database.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the selection of social media for promoting the Master's Program (PMB) at the University of PGRI Yogyakarta (UPY) and develop a decision support system using the Weight Product method. The emergence of social media has brought new opportunities in the field of marketing, including PMB promotion at UPY. However, the success of promotions highly relies on choosing the right social media platforms. In this study, an evaluation is conducted on five popular social media platforms, namely Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The criteria used include the number of active users, target audience, promotional features, interaction level, and advertising costs. The weights for these criteria are determined through preliminary surveys and discussions with relevant experts. The Weight Product method is employed to calculate the ranking of social media platforms based on the criteria weights. Data is collected through online surveys administered to prospective students and analyzed using specialized software. The results of the analysis indicate that Instagram is the most suitable social media platform for PMB promotion at UPY, followed by Facebook and YouTube. This research provides a better understanding of how social media can be effectively utilized for PMB promotion at UPY. The developed decision support system can assist marketing staff in making better choices in selecting social media platforms for PMB promotion. The findings of this study are expected to enhance the effectiveness of promotions and the competitiveness of the PMB at UPY. Abstract

The development of information technology in an organization or company can be used to support a large number of business decisions to be made. The developments that have occurred have made it possible for companies engaged in similar fields to compete for the best talent development results. PT. XYZ is a financial services or training company that has several services such as public training, in-house training and seminars (workshops). There are often difficulties in this industry in increasing the number of applicants to conduct training. An appropriate talent management strategy can increase or maximize the profits earned by the company. This research uses the concept of business intelligence and data mining methods based on talent prospect data for the data analysis process.
