Abstract

Preliminary. IPB-University, a leading university in Indonesia, always produces a lot of research and innovation. Academic writing in the form of a thesis is a real proof. However, there has been no study that has mapped the results of these studies. This research was conducted to determine: the distribution of research topics, create a map of the field of science based on the Universal Decimal Classification standard, and visualize a map of keywords, as well as the productivity of the supervisor in the thesis of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, IPB University. Research Methods. This research is a bibliometric study with quantitative research methods, in order to describe the mapping of information on the distribution of knowledge in the thesis of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, IPB University. Research Data Processing. The object of this research is the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences thesis data in the IPB University Library database. The data is processed using the M.S. Excel and grouped according to the Universal Decimal Classification standard. The keyword data was created in an RIS File and analyzed using the VosViewer-Visualizing Scientific Landscapes 1.6.1.5 program developed by Nees Jan Van Eck and Ludo Waltman. Research Result. Proving that the thesis research topics of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, IPB University graduates in 2015-2019 are 3,550 titles. Map of fields of science based on UDC showing research topics at most grade 004: “Computer Science and Technology, Computing and Data Processing” 719 (20.25%) titles, research topics at least grade 590: “Zoology” 43 (1.21%) . Co-word analysis using Vosviewer 1.6.1.5 on the occurrence of a minimum of 5 keywords succeeded in visualizing 683 keywords in 12 clusters. The keyword that appears the most occurs is "Computer Science and Technology" 153 times. Network Visualization shows the trend of the most popular research topics: “Computer Science and Technology” is in cluster 5 with a total network link strength of 397. Overlay Visualization shows a tendency the year the research was conducted, which was between 2016-2018. Density Visualization shows the tendency for the density of research volumes for each of these keywords to vary. The highest productivity of the thesis supervisor as the main supervisor is Imas Sukaesih Sitanggang as many as 79 guidance, while as member supervisors are Ali Kusnanto and Budi Waryanto, the number of guidance is 42 and 8 thesis guidance, respectively

Abstract

Modal dasar dari kekayaan alam Indonesia merupakan potensi yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan produktivitas khususnya komoditas pertanian. Sesuai dengan NawaCita Presiden Joko Widodo, Kementerian Pertanian telah mencanangkan “Indonesia Menuju Lumbung Pangan Dunia 2045. Untuk itu pemangku kebijakan bisa memanfaatkan hasil-hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian IPB university sebagai perguruan tinggi terdepan dengan berbagai bidang ilmu pertanian. Untuk mengetahui bidang ilmu yang pernah dan belum pernah diteliti, maka penelitian ini dilakukan. Kajian ini menggunakan sampel berasal dari skripsi Fakultas Pertanian IPB University lulusan tahun 2015 – 2019 (lima tahun) sebanyak 2135 judul penelitian. Pemetaan menggunakan standar Klasifikasi UDC, Tabel dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dipetakan menggunakan VosViewer. Bidang ilmu yang paling banyak diteliti adalah pemupukan, nutrisi tanah dan hormon tumbuh 330 judul penelitian. Sedangkan yang terkait dengan komoditas padi, kelapa sawit dan jagung. Analisis kata kunci atau co-word menggunakan VosViewer pada penelitian mahasiswa ini terbagi menjadi 16 kluster dengan kluster terbesar terdiri dari 92 kata kunci. Dosen pembimbing utama paling produktif adalah Afra Donatha Nimia Makalew (32 mahasiswa). Selanjutnya Dosen pembimbing anggota adalah Syaiful Anwar (35 mahasiswa). Bidang ilmu pemupukan, nutrisi tanah dan hormon tumbuh paling banyak diteliti, sedangkan terkait komoditas adalah tanaman padi, kelapa sawit dan tanaman jagung. Dosen pembimbing utama paling produktif adalah Afra Donatha Nimia Makalew (32 mahasiswa) Selanjutnya Dosen pembimbing anggota adalah Syaiful Anwar (35 mahasiswa).

Abstract

Introduction. Animal health and animal product safety currently becomes an important issue. The role of veterinarians in ensuring human health through animal health that can be transmitted to humans is needed. One of the faculties related to this issue at the Bogor Agricultural University is the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH), which has produced many basic, applied and strategic researches that support sustainable national development. There is no study that maps the results of research, so that the research repetition and unevenness of the studied areas have the potential to occur. It is necessary to map the student essay refers to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) standard. Methods and Data Collection. Data samples taken from IPB repository database for the last 5 (five) years, specifically 2015-2019 as many as 973 research titles. Data analysis. The scope of the study includes grouping data based on the field of science according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) standard, Keyword analysis using VosViewer program visualization, department distribution analysis, the last is calculation of lecturer productivity in guiding student theses. Results and Discussion. The results of the study are number of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’ study in the period 2015-2019 was 973 titles. The most researched sub-fields of science related to "General Zoology" totaled to 591 (60.74%) research, while the least is related to "Industrial microbiology" as much as 3 (0.31%) research. VosViewer’s keyword relatedness visualization with at least 3 appearances showing 411 keyword items, divided into 15 clusters. The most often used keyword is "Medicinal plants" as much as 96 times with 297 relationships, but the least occurrences are "aedes aegypti" and "culex" as much as 3 times with 2 relationships. The highest productivity of supervisors for the 2015-2019 period was achieved by Aryani Sismin Satyaningtijas with a total of 55 mentors, consisting of 36 times as main supervisors and 19 times as mentors members.

Abstract

Introduction. Agriculture is an important sector for Indonesia. One of the agricultural sub-sectors is industry and agricultural mechanization. Progress in this field cannot be separated from research activities carried out by lecturers, researchers and students. IPB as one of the leading agricultural universities has certainly produced a lot of research in its field. To find out and photograph the research conducted by undergraduate students, this research was conducted. Methods and Data Collection. The sample is limited to the thesis of the last 5 years (2015-2019) which is taken from the IPB repository. Data analysis. Mapping is reviewed based on the UDC Classification. The table was analyzed descriptively and mapped using VosViewer. Results and Discussion. The number of thesis researches of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, IPB during 2015-2019 is 2,055 titles. The most researched topics were “production and preservation of solid food” totaling 461 studies and the least were “ventilation and air conditioning” and “rubber industry” with only 2 studies each. The most common keyword is "food preservation techniques" with 278 occurrences. The keyword that has the most correlation is "food preservation techniques" with a total of 605 relationships. Keyword analysis using VosViewer is divided into 16 clusters with the largest cluster consisting of 69 keywords. Furthermore, the main supervisor who was the most productive in guiding students was Arif Sabdo Yuwono (31 mentors), while the most productive supervisors were Muhammad Arif Darmawan and Didah Nur Faridah (19 each). Conclusion. The topic of most interest is “production and preservation of solid foods” (461 titles). The most common keyword is "food preservation techniques" with 278 occurrences. The most productive main supervisor is Arif Sabdo Yuwono with a total of 31 students.

Abstract

Pendahuluan. Sektor ekonomi memegang peranan penting bagi Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang, pemerintah telah mengupayakan berbagai program untuk meningkatkan pendapatan per kapitanya dengan menumbuhkan berbagai sektor, khususnya menyoroti porsi ekspor nasional yang masih rendah terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) yakti sebesar 25 persen. Keberadaan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Manajemen (FEM) di Institut Pertanian Bogor tentunya akan memberikan masukan kepada pemerintah melalui penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilaksanakan oleh dosen/peneliti dan mahasiswa (program sarjana, pasca sarjana dan program doktor). Untuk mengetahui dan memotret penelitian yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa program sarjana maka penelitian ini dilakukan Metode dan Pengumpulan Data. Sampel dibatasi hanya pada skripsi 5 tahun terakhir (2015-2019) yang diambil dari repositori IPB. Analisis Data. Pemetaan dilakukan berdasar pada Klasifikasi UDC. Tabel skripsi dianalisis secara deksriptif dan dipetakan menggunakan VosViewer. Hasil dan Pembahasan. Jumlah penelitian skripsi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Manajemen IPB selama 2015-2019 adalah 3.145 judul. Topik paling banyak diteliti adalah “Situasi ekonomi, kebijakan ekonomi, manajemen ekonomi, perencanaan ekonomi. Produksi, jasa dan harga” dengan jumlah penelitian sebanyak 926 judul penelitian, sedangkan yang paling sedikit adalah topik terkait “Asuransi” dengan jumlah penelitian sebanyak 6 judul penelitian. Kata kunci yang memiliki keterhubungan paling banyak adalah “pemasaran” dengan jumlah keterhubungan sebanyak 204 hubungan. Analisis kata kunci menggunakan VosViewer terbagi menjadi 16 kluster dengan kluster terbesar yaitu kluster 1 terdiri dari 69 kata kunci dan kluster terkecil kluster 12 terdiri dari 3 kata kunci. Selanjutnya dosen pembimbing utama yang paling produktif membimbing mahasiswa adalah Jono Mintarto Munandar (126 bimbingan). Kesimpulan. Topik paling diminati adalah “Situasi ekonomi, kebijakan ekonomi, manajemen ekonomi, perencanaan ekonomi. Produksi, jasa dan harga” ( 926 judul). Kata kunci paling banyak adalah “pemasaran” dengan kemunculan sebanyak 205 kali. Dosen pembimbing utama paling produktif adalah Jono Mintarto Munandar dengan jumlah bimbingan sebanyak 126 mahasiswa.
