Abstract

This study concludes conclusion of this study is that extremism in the name of religion can be eradicated through moderate and inclusive Islamic education. Religious moderation can be expressed through tawazun (balance), i'tidal (truth and stability), tasamuh (tolerance), musawah (equality), shura (consideration), ishlah (equality) reform), aulawiyah (priority), tathawwur wa ibtikar ( dynamic and creative). For this reason, an attitude of religious moderation is needed which includes acknowledging the existence of other parties, being tolerant, respecting differences of opinion, and not forcing one's will by force. The role of the government, community leaders, and religious educators is needed to socialize and develop community religious moderation to create harmony and peace.

Abstract

The problem of meeting the sexual needs or biological needs of prisoners is a problem that is often the cause of chaos in prisons. The non-channeling of these needs sometimes causes the inmate's emotions to become uncontrollable. In Indonesia, some provisions allow married prisoners to gather with their families through CMK (Family Visiting Leave) as stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia Number: M.01-PK.03.02 of 2001 concerning Family Visiting Leave for Prisoners. This regulation provides an opportunity for married inmates to go to their family's residence for 2 (two) days or 2 x 24 hours to allow the married prisoner to meet his sexual needs while taking time off. However, in practice, these regulations have yet to be maximized because this is often used by officers and has become a topic of discussion in the mass media. Various opinions and studies mention the need for prisoners to be given this right, one of which is the Conjugal Visit policy. Conjugal Visit is also often referred to as the "Romance Chamber". Based on this, researchers are interested in researching how the Indonesian Law Regulation system regulates conjugal visits. The method used is the Normative Juridical method. They are namely answering problems through literature both primary, secondary and tertiary. The assumption found is that Cobjugal Visit has yet to be regulated and has no legal umbrella. However, this is a basic right for every human being having his status, whether he is a Prisoner or a free man.

Abstract

Abstract: Islam carried main mission to improving human morals, not only teachings of monotheism and worship, but also concepts and guidelines in one's interaction as a pluralistic world citizen exemplified by Prophet Muhammad SAW. Islam recognizes differences in beliefs, cultures, traditions, races, and certain tribes, one of them is stated in Q.S Al-Hujurat: 13 about diversity. However, not everyone agrees with this point of view, emergence of various sects in Islam, such as extremism who have an exclusive, closed, and intolerant perspective also affects development of Islamic religion. It is undeniable that these intolerant, radical, and other attitudes can enter into every line of our lives, including in world of education. As one of efforts to prevent extremism/radicalism in institution of education is the integration of moderate Islamic values in character building in elementary schools. One of elementary schools that has tried to integrate these values is SD Anak Saleh. This study uses a qualitative approach with type of case study design. The results showed that: 1) moderate Islamic values were applied in character education through Panca Character program at SD Anak Saleh. 2) The strategy is applied in learning at class (intracurricular), outside class (co-curricular) and in extracurricular activities by inculcating five characters, namely personal, social, natural, intellectual, and national character. 3) Implication of implementation of Panca Character is that most of graduates from SD Anak Saleh have moderate attitudes, such as tolerant, religious (used to carry out mandatory and sunnah worship), inclusive, social care, and love for Indonesian homeland.
