Abstract

This Study discusses the Relation Betwwen Information Seeking Behavior And User Information Needs (Correlation Study on Information Seeking Behavior And User Information Needs in Depok Public Library). The purpose of this study was to determine the significance between the initiation, topic selection, exploration, focus formulation, collection, & presentation stages in information-seeking behavior by users and the information needs of users at the Depok City Public Library. The method used is a quantitive method with the Spearman Rank correlation test. In measuring information needs the author uses the theory of Kart, Gurevitch, and Haas. Data collection techniques used this study include observation, literature study, and survey. The research population is the users of the Depok City Public Library for the period April-May 2022. The sample in this study uses an accidental sampling teachnique and totals 101 people. The results of this study show the significance between the initiation, topic selection, exploration, focus formulation, collection, & presentation stages in information-seeking behavior by users and the information needs of users at the Depok City Public Library. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the Education Personnel Management Effectiveness ofat State Senior High School For Islamic Studies (MAN) 2 Mandailing Natal, namely: 1) employee planning, 2) employee procurement, 3) coaching and staffing, 4) promotion and transfer, 5) employee termination, 6) compensation, and 7) employee evaluation and development management of Education Personnel at MAN 2 Mandailing Natal. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The place that became the object of this research was Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Mandailing Natal, which is located on Jl. Teuku Umar Pasar III Natal, Natal District. The results of the study show that: The required staff planning is adjusted to the required students. Therefore, before preparing a plan, it is necessary to carry out a job analysis and job analysis to obtain a job description (an overview of the tasks and work to be carried out). Procurement of employee educators always conforms to the plan that has been prepared by the Head of Madrasah and staff at the madrasah for procuring staff themselves must go through a recruitment process, oral exams, written exams, and practical exams, so far the procurement of teaching staff has only used exams writing and studying. The development of employee education staff at MAN 2 Mandailing Natal must always be specifically related to the development and career paths of teaching staff according to the category of each type of teaching staff themselves. Promotion, transfer, dismissal, compensation and evaluation of employees always refer to the rules that are in accordance with the provisions.

Abstract

This report has been developed based on a library research investigation of numerous library materials related to communities and schools that conflict with multicultural terminology. The approach states that the data collection methods used in this study are documented procedures, in which data is obtained through documents known as library materials. Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the rise of the phenomenon of negative news and hoaxes received by Nahdatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah. Hoax news is not without problems, destructive phenomena in society can be said to have started there, such as hate speech, discrimination, persecution, stereotypes and physical violence. However, the two Islamic groups are still rooted and legitimate in the religious consciousness of Indonesian Muslims. The researcher saw that there was a communication strategy used by the two organizations in response to negative issues thrown at them. So that they are not shaken and remain sociologically influential. This strategy is referred to as the tabayyun mechanism. With these logical reasons, researchers are trying to find out the concept and implementation of tabayyun within Nahdatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah in Jambi City. In order to reach that answer, the researcher used a qualitative research mechanism, by carrying out the process of observation, interviews and documentation. From the data analysis it was found that from within Nahdatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah had the same projection in building an understanding of tabayyun. However, the implementation is different for reasons of socio-cultural differences between the two religious groups. Both of them develop and adopt tabayyun strategies that rely on Islamic ethics in responding to negative or hoax news.

Abstract

The development of the film world is very diverse and produces films with various styles. Broadly speaking, films can be grouped by story, making orientation, and by genre. This study aims to determine the representation of feminism contained in the science fiction film entitled Level 16. This study uses a qualitative method with the semiotic analysis technique of Ferdinand De Saussure's model which examines the signs in life. Through this method, several scenes are selected in the level 16 film, then these scenes are revealed into denotative and connotative meanings and then interpreted in signifier and signified. In this study, the researcher found ten scenes that presented feminism in level 16 films.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of life background and academic integrity possessed by students and their determination of academic cheating behavior. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational design using survey methods. The questionnaire met the validity test with a KMO value of 0.736. The instrument was declared are reliable with a value of 0.863 for the life background, 0.830 for the academic integrity and 0.752 for the academic cheating behavior. Academic cheating behavior that is most often done by students is cheating; students who classified as high cheating behavior as much as 54.5%. Academic Integrity after being controlled by Life Background has a regression coefficient on Academic Cheating Behavior of ry2-1=0.66 with a determination of 43.9%. The correlation coefficient between life background and academic integrity is r12=0.56; p <0.01. The value of the correlation coefficient between academic integrity variables on cheating behavior is ry2 = -0.60; p <0.01. The highest contribution was found in the variable Trust, a simple correlation was ry2 = -0.64; p <0.01, a partial correlation was ry1-2 = -0.51 with a determinant of 25.7%. The correlation coefficient between life background and academic cheating is ry1 = -0.571; p <0.01. The indicator that gave the highest contribution was Peers with a value of ry = -0.56; p <0.01.
