Abstract

This study aims to see how much influence transformational leadership has on the Motivating School Program. Research conducted in the form of library research reveals many things related to transformational leadership and driving school programs, where the driving school program is a form of educational transformation which in its implementation really requires a leader who is open to change, and able to transform the organization and its subordinates to remain relevant to all existing demands. This research is a type of textbook review research which is carried out by collecting literature related to the research topic, then analyzed according to research needs. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas , mengkaji, menggali serta mendeskripsikan manajeman kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan tahfidz Alquran untuk meningkatkan daya dan minat siswa dalam mempelajari Al-quran. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini difokuskan kepada manajemen kepala sekolah dalam hal perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, serta faktor pengambat dan pendukung kegiatan tahfidz. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, majelis guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi berperan serta dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data dimana peneliti memfokuskan data dan tidak memakai data yang tidak diperlukan sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulannya, hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajarn tahfidz di sekolah Dasar Islam Unggul Terpadu dimulai dari tahap seleksi siswa masuk, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan diberikan tanggungjawab kepada guru pendidikan agama islam dan dibantu oleh guru kelas yang berkompeten. Pelaksanaan tahfid dibagi kepada dua bagian yaitu proses kegiatan dan metode pelaksanaan, pengawasan dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah langsung disaat kegiiatan berlangsung, faktor penghambat pada kegiatan adalah masih kurangnya tenaga pendidika yang memounyai latar belakang tahfidz sedangkan faktor pendukaung sekolah memiliki sarana dan prasarana yang memadai.

Abstract

The article that the researcher created serves to describe how the role of the librarian in increasing student interest in reading at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab. In the new normal period, the management of the librarian has an important role in increasing student interest in reading at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab. In an effort to increase student interest in reading, the head of librarianship needs to form an effective and optimal strategy. This study aims to examine the strategy of the librarian in increasing student interest in reading at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenology. In this study, in collecting the data needed to achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers used observation, interviews with the librarian of SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab, and also documentation. The results of the research that the researchers conducted showed that there were 2 special strategies for the head of the library at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab in the process of increasing students' reading interest. The strategy chosen by the head of the library in this case is to form a young librarian, the library trolley (TROPUS). Abstract

One of the factors that influence teacher performance is the principal as a school leader. This study aims to analyze the principal's strategy in improving performance. In order to increase teacher performance, a research was conducted on the principal's strategy in improving teacher performance at SMP Negeri 11 Sijunjung.. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the type of literature study. Principals and teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Sijunjung were the samples in this study. The research instruments are interviews, observation and documentation. With the research, it can be conveyed that the principal's strategy in improving teacher performance at SMP Negeri 11 can be pursued by maximizing interpersonal communication, strict teacher recruitment, placing teachers in positions that are in accordance with competence both as supervisors and coaches, providing motivation to teachers, conducting training for teachers, conducting supervision and supervision, fostering teacher performance, establishing cooperative relationships with teachers and carrying out disciplinary supervision

Abstract

: Based on the phenomena that are around us, especially at SDN 10 Kunpar which incidentally is located in an area that is indeed far from the center of the crowd and public facilities that make it possible for the school to be better than other schools so that it can be an inspiration or pilot and become a dream school for the local community. Meanwhile, the SungaiTenang community has always longed for schools in the area to be able to make schools that are indeed their targets for educating students, to be calmer, more enthusiastic and do not need to look for other schools. Meanwhile, if seen from the reality so far, the school has not met the requirements desired by the community. Abstract

: The role of educators is very important in the teaching and learning process because the final results obtained by students determine the quality and quantity of learning. The role of educators is in charge of creating learning conditions in the classroom that are not monotonous, only listening, but learning that has innovation for the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation of increasing educator motivation in learning using independent learning methods at Budi Utomo Middle School. The research method used is to collect data through the distribution of instruments and in-depth interviews with educators including the principal. The results obtained with the independent learning model of learning are 1. Reducing the burden on teachers, 2. Simplifying lesson plans, 3 Creating Received: 13-01-2022; Revised: 19-06-2022; Accepted: 25-06-2022 2 AL-FIKRAH, Volume X Nomor 1, Juni 2022 fun learning, 4. Improving the competence of educators. This aims to provide convenience for educators when carrying out the learning process with face-to-face meeting conditions as much as 50%, so that learning arrangements are needed with time divided into 3 stages each day. The demands of educator motivation are needed considering that learning activities and innovations in teaching need to be done to overcome boredom. From the explanation above, it is concluded that the freedom to plan the teaching and learning process is determined by educators to express creative and innovative ideas. With the qualitative method, the motivation of educators is expected to grow from the strength of internal and external encouragement in order to realize optimal learning. Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the principal's strategy in changing the teacher's mindset to improve learning quality. The method used in this research is the interview and documentation method. In processing the research results using Atlas. ti 8 software, the steps are to process the data obtained and then provide a code, classify the code that has been obtained according to the same meaning, then combine several concepts that have the sense to get a new idea. The results of this study are the principal in changing the mindset of teachers by carrying out teacher training and implementing teacher competency development and teachers improving the quality of learning by using learning technology, learning media, and learning evaluation.

Abstract

The use of Islamic-Science-based teaching materials in the lecture process is an alternative that can be done in order to instill religious values in students. In addition to obtaining material from certain courses, students will get Islamic discourse which is full of moral messages. So that it is expected to motivate students to be more enthusiastic about learning. Abstract

: Basic Chemistry is a compulsory subject in Biology Tadris at IAIN Kerinci, which studies the physical changes of material in the separation of mixtures, namely filtration, distillation, sublimation, recrystallization, and chromatography. With the lecture method, in this material, we cannot see directly the changes that occur, so that in this material a practicum is needed to see firsthand the changes that occur. At IAIN Kerinci, there is no special laboratory for chemistry to carry out practicum. Therefore we need media that can describe these changes, so that it will lead to student learning motivation. The purpose of this research was to make learning media in the form of a CD program that will be used in learning basic chemistry of mixed separation materials and to determine the level of validity and practicality of chemistry learning media in the form of a CD program for mixed separation materials. The methodology used in this research was the type of research, development procedures, test subjects, data types, data collection instruments, data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicated that the CD Program learning media on mixed separation materials can be used as suitable learning media for learning chemistry of mixed separation materials in the basic chemistry course in the biology tadris department of IAIN Kerinci, and the CD Program media on mixed separation materials developed is valid. and has been practically used in learning.

Abstract

Recruiting new students quantitatively and qualitatively adequate to be able to get advancement and to exist is a routine agenda of a university. Thus, new student recruitment activity should be well done and well planned so that optimum results can be reached. Ideally, new student recruitment system is done by a specific permanent body whose task is to think about the best ways to get new prospective students. This can be realized when many parties are involved to get worthy suggestions. Of course each university has different methods, Therefore, this article is aimed at completing knowledge gap on new student recruitment system and factors influencing their choice of university. Through this research, new student recruitment system at IAIN Batusangkar was found out. The study used cross-sectional design. The population of the research was all the students of IAIN Batusangkar. The sample of the study was selected using cluster sampling technique in which 3.485 students were selected to be the reseach sample.   The instrument used to collect the data of the research was a closed-ended questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed through Descriptive Statistics. The results of the research showed that there was an increase of promotion effectiveness from ineffective level in 2016 (51.01%) to effective level (62.45%) in 2018. The success of the new recruitment system to recruit new students because it was carried out in various ways, ranging from the use of brochures, scholarships, to promoting the accreditation value of the study program and institution. The most dominant factors in influencing student decision in choosing a university were parents and relatively affordable tuition.
