Padma Sari: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan adalah jurnal ilmiah berkala yang diterbitkan oleh Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Gde Pudja Mataram. Jurnal ini memfokuskan kajian pada bidang Ilmu Pendidikan, termasuk Pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Seni. Abstract

The problem of learning English grammar in EFL countries has triggered the emergence of various innovative learning models. One of them is an innovative learning model called the Flipped Classroom. Through a literature review, this article has found that this learning model focuses on content and learning activities that are provided online to students first so that they get access to materials regarding learning English before attending the class. Therefore, when they attend the actual class, they will fully understand the learning material regarding the structure of the language to be delivered. In addition, it was also found that, from an empirical study by several researchers, the Flipped Classroom was proven to be effective for learning English grammar at the elementary, middle, or even higher education levels where this model was able to motivate students to learn more independently and meaningfully through the help of information technology media. Seeing the effectiveness of Flipped Classrooms in teaching English grammar in EFL countries, it can be assumed that this method can be one of the most effective and useful learning models in teaching English grammar

Abstract

The purpose of this scientific work of learning is to find out whether the use of eMeLGr techniques can increase the activeness of student group cooperation in comparing and composing greeting cards and how the use of eMeLGr techniques to improve the activeness of student group cooperation in comparing and composing greeting cards. The eMeLGr technique is implemented for basic competencies of comparing and composing greeting cards. In its implementation the eMeLGr technique is applied with the Jigsaw learning model. The type of research used is descriptive, that is, it describes the description and explanation systematically. The descriptive method used in this study also aims to examine the current situation related to increasing the activeness and cooperation of student groups using the eMeLGr technique in comparing and compiling greeting cards The learning process of comparing and composing greeting cards of students of class VIII-K SMPN 2 Sidoarjo went smoothly. The result of the use of eMeLGr techniques in English learning in comparing and composing greeting cards is the activeness of student group cooperation increased. This is evidenced by the results of observations of the activeness of increased student group cooperation. The average achievement of activeness of student group cooperation increased through these techniques.

Abstract

This research is a research that investigates the social perception of teachers towards digital literacy in learning English in elementary schools. Then it was also explored about the obstacles in implementing digital literacy in learning English. Data acquisition and analysis was carried out qualitatively, using instruments in the form of a list of interview questions and also observation sheets. The results of this study are the teacher's social perception is very positive. The teachers have the same perspective where the teacher has a goal to make learning more varied, effective, easy, and fun. Then the teacher also has a goal to improve students' English skills along with increasing their digital literacy skills. The obstacles experienced by teachers are that there are still limited supporting infrastructure, such as PC or gadgets that are still lacking and students still do not have PC or gadgets that are controlled independently.

Abstract

This study aims to scientifically examine the role of psychology in education or widely known as educational psychology. This study uses a literature study to find out about the meaning, scope, objectives, benefits, and application of educational psychology. The results of the analysis illustrate that educational psychology is a branch or sub-discipline of psychology that specializes in how to understand teaching and learning in an educational environment. The understanding of teaching and learning can be the basis for educators and education managers in recognizing the potential of students and environmental condotions that affect them. This basis can be used as a reference in determining the type and method of learning, class management, handling students according to their needs and conditions, measuring learning achievement , and in the end, to evaluate and follow-up the results. The proper application of psychology in the world of education is expected to help improve the quality and the output so that educational goals are achieved as stated in the law. Good quality of education will be able to help shape the next generation, who will become leaders of the nation, to become an intelligent with noble character so as to be able to bring Indonesia back to its golden age.

Abstract

Wayang sering dipandang sebelah mata hanya dilihat dari segi seni dan hiburan saja namun dibalik hal tersebut pagelaran wayang sangatlah penuh akan manfaat serta makna simbolis jika dikaji dengan sudut pandang agama Hindu. Didalam pagelaran wayang tidak hanya menampilkan pertunjukkan yang berbau humor saja namun juga menyisipkan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Hindu, etika, moralitas dan tidak itu saja pagelaran wayang juga sering digunakan sebagai media penerangan masyarakat pada era tahun 90-an dimana pagelaran wayang didalam penayangannya disisipi pesan atau informasi terkait program penting yang akan dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah seperti program Keluarga Berencana (KB), pembangunan, pemilihan umum, Koperasi dan lain sebagainya. Pada Era digitalisasi saat ini pagelaran wayang tidak lagi ditayangkan secara konvensional lagi dimana penayanganya di lapangan atau gedung yang hanya dapat dinikmati oleh khalayak yang hadir mengunjungi tempat diselenggarakannya pagelaran wayang tersebut tetapi dapat ditayangkan secara langsung pada media sosial seperti Facebook, youtube, Istagram dan media sosial lainnya sehingga penayangannya dapat diakses oleh khalayak ramai dimanapun mereka berada. Namun terkadang pagelaran wayang tidak mendapat perhatian sebab dianggap sudah usang tidak layak digunakan lagi pada masa sekarang ini, namun realitanya pagelaran wayang merupakan salah satu media penyampaian informasi yang efektif untuk menyisipkan pesan moral, etika ataupun program pemerintah dikala fenomena masyarakat kita yang haus hiburan sangat antusias dalam menghadiri event bernuansa hiburan yang diselenggarakan baik secara online maupun offline.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the pattern of character education that can be internalized from Hindu marriage ceremonies. This is also based on the idea that educational interaction has the function of helping the development of all potential, skills and characteristics of students, both in terms of intellectual, social, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Religious education will grow and increase sraddha and bhakti to Brahman through giving, cultivating, understanding and experiencing teachings. In addition to education, both formal, informal and non-formal, character education can also be explored through a wedding procession (pawiwahan). This research uses an qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data obtained is then analyzed through a series of data reduction processes, data display and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that through the pawiwahan procession, or called dharmika, it is hoped that Hindus who go through the pawiwahan process are able to realize the noble ideals of Moksartham Jagadhita ya ca iti dharma. In Hindu education, strive for the birth of people who are Pradnyan and Purusottama. Pradnyan is interpreted as a condition of Hindu humans who should have competencies that are in accordance with the field of knowledge they are engaged in (according to swadharma). The value of education in Hindu pawiwahan also cannot be separated from the three basic frameworks of Hinduism, namely Tattwa, Susila and Upacara. The value of character education is explored through the philosophy of the various means used in pawiwahan, each of which has a very deep meaning, and this is believed to provide provisions for the formation of brides who have sadhu Gunawan characteristics.

Abstract

Learning is one of the manifestations of respect for the teacher of recitation where this is realized by an effort to learn science. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe what obstacles students face in attending lectures and how the lecturer's creative strategies stimulate student participation in attending lectures. The study used a qualitative research methodology studied with Educational theory and Behavioristic theory. The results of the research include: student obstacles in attending lectures, namely: 1) physiological factors from within students, namely because they are sick, unhealthy and have physical disabilities. Psychologically, the most important thing is study habits, lack of confidence and difficulty in managing time. 2) external factors, namely the lack of facilities in learning, motivation, economy, lack of socialization so that it is difficult to make friends or adapt both to lecturers and to learning that is followed during lectures. The lecturer's creative strategy stimulates student participation in attending lectures, including: 1). punctuality, firmness and mutual agreement between lecturers and students both for arrival hours, lectures and also agreements in collecting assignments. 2). submission of lecture contracts, so that there are no protests from students, no students repeating courses, 3). learning methods, and periodically changing learning media, 4). hold quizzes, exercises or impromptu games. 5). reminding students the importance of participating in lectures and doing coursework. ask for explanations and what obstacles students experience during the lecture, not demeaning students' abilities or looking down on student behavior.
