Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of Community-Science- Technology learning approach toward scientific attitude and science learning achievement on fifth grade students of public elementary school Banyuning Cluster. This research was a quasi-experiment with Posttest-Only Control-Group Design. Research population was 198 fifth grade students of Belantih cluster. Thirty three students were selected as sample which was determined using random sampling technique. Scientific attitude data were gathered using questionnaire and science learning achievement data were gathered using multiple choice test. Data were analyzed using MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) assisted by SPSS 17.00 for windows. Research results show that: First, scientific attitude of students who followed Community-Science-Technology learning approach was significantly better than students who followed conventional learning. Second, science learning achievement of students who followed community-science-technology learning approach was significantly better than students who followed conventional learning. Third, simultaneously, scientific attitude and science learning achievement of students who followed community-science- technology learning approach was significantly better than students who followed conventional learning. The results of this study are expected to provide information for educational institutions to take appropriate policies, which are related to efforts to develop scientific attitudes and improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to give an describe about the strategies of Hindu religious teachers in maintaining interest in learning dance extracurriculars for students at Elementary School 117 Cendana Putih II. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by non-participant observation, free-guided interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the dance extracurricular learning process took place in three processes, namely first, the initial process of preparing the sound system, saying prayers, recording the number of students present, then warming up; second, the core process, namely dividing groups into each student, then doing exercises in turns in each group; and third, the final process is saying the closing prayer, finally tidying up the sound system. The obstacles faced by teachers in maintaining interest in learning dance extracurricular are: first, the lack of facilities and infrastructure; secondly the lack of trainers; third, the lack of make-up personnel during performances; fourth, students who are difficult to manage (naughty); fifth, lack of mastery of some dances. In an effort to overcome the existing obstacles, the strategies used by teachers in maintaining interest in learning dance extracurriculars are: first, practicing in the school yard and asking parents for help in completing the performance clothes; second, asking for help from students in training; third, asking parents for help in preparing students' performances; fourth, changing the way of learning; and fifth, providing training guidance specifically to sixth grade Students.

Abstract

The existence of teaching material in the process of English instructions has a very important role, especially in online learing situatiions. For this reason, English lectures need to understand deeply about how these teaching materials can be prepared optimally in order to ensure the success of the education process especially in higher education. Therefore, this study using a literature research methodology aims to examine through the study of several literature sources regarding the integration of Krashen's theory of second language acquisition into the process of developing English instructional materials in the online learning process in university. From the analysis that had been carried out, it was found that based on Krashen's theory and the characteristics of English teaching materials, English instructional materials that need to be developed by lectures in online learning are by prioritizing the concept that mastery of language as a communication tool takes place subconsciously by "taking" language naturally. So, in this case, English lectures must focus on developing teaching materials so that students are able to "pick up" language; not just memorizing vocabulary or its grammatical structures.

Abstract

Pasraman is a Hindu education system which aims to give birth to the younger generation who is not only a candidate in religious knowledge, but also has a noble character. One of the learning held by most of the pasraman is yoga learning as an effort to raise awareness of health and form of students character. Referring to that background, the writer conducted a study related to yoga learning that focused on planning, implementing, evaluating, and characters formed through yoga learning at Pasraman Samiaga Mataram. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with descriptive qualitative data analysis. Data obtained from observation, interview, documentation, and checking data validity carried out with credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. This research supported by behavioristic theory, Burner learning theory and theory of learning connectionism. This study shown that yoga learning planning carried out by instructor by determining the learning objectives, designing learning materials, and determine the learning schedule. In the implementation of yoga learning is done gradually and at each stage tugged the strengthening of the character for the students. As for the stages of yoga learning at Pasraman Samiaga Mataram includes preparation stage, appetite prayer, stretching, surya namaskara, asanas, acro yoga, relaxation, and prayer cover. The evaluation of yoga learning which is carried out includes evaluation of process and evaluation of results are overseeing the development of each student’s ability, carry out assessment at each meeting, and held a yoga race in the pasraman. The characters formed through yoga learning at Pasraman Samiaga Mataram includes religious character, discipline character, the characters are responsible, character appreciate achievement, character of curiosity and independent character.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and explain the religious meaning and educational value of the bokas ceremony at the Kaharingan Dayak Dusun Hindu wedding ceremony. The Bokas ceremony is part of the Pitra Yajna ceremony, which is a sacred offering to the ancestors by the Kaharingan Hindus. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach, in which data were obtained through interviews, observation and document recording which were then analyzed. As for the process before the bokas ceremony is carried out, then first carry out (1) bisik kurik event. (2) The process of Basantane or the proposal to bring goods. Meanwhile, the religious value of the tradition of the bokas paying hajat ceremony at the wedding ceremony is obligatory to be carried out by people who are bahajat parapah (asking for prayer) to the god kalalungan Aning kalelio. Bokas is a Pitra Yajna ceremony, which is an offering to ancestors. During the Bokas ceremony, a wadian Nayu calls Dewa Kallungan Aning Kalalio to come to receive offerings. If the bokas ceremony, at the wedding ceremony, deviates from what has been determined by Wadian Nayu, it can lead to elite bo'i, namely in the form of thunderstorms and accompanied by lightning that can turn humans into stone (curse). Meanwhile, the educational value reflected through the bokas ceremony is implemented in the concept of Tri Hita Karana and Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character for class X students at SMK Negeri 4 Mataram in the 2020/2021 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach and is an ex post facto research using correlational associative analysis. Ex post facto research is research that examines causal relationships that are not manipulated or treated (designed and implemented) by the researcher. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses product moment correlation. The results of the study indicate that there is an effect of the use of WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character for class X students at SMK Negeri 4 Mataram in the 2020/2021 academic year. The magnitude of the influence of the use of WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and the character of class X students (rxy) is 0.378, while the contribution of WhatsApp social media is 14.28%. This means that there is another factor of 85.72% of the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character for class X students at SMK Negeri 4 Mataram. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of the use of WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character for class X students at SMK Negeri 4 Mataram in the 2020/2021 academic year, with the contribution of using WhatsApp social media by 14.28%. Base on the research result, applied social media WhatsApp can be use in other learning.

Abstract

Scouting activities are an educational process in the form of activities for children carried out outside family education that use the basic principles of scouting. The role of scouts in the formation of the character of students is a unique problem to be studied. In this research using qualitative research methods and which will be discussed are Scout raisers. Raising Scouts are students in the scouting movement aged between 11-15 years. activities that are challenging and interesting and contain education that is in accordance with the spiritual and physical development of students in the process of scouting education activities carried out by scout raising at SD Negeri 10 Kesiman there are twelve activities: Formation of New Groups, Red and White Codes, Password Wars, Celebrating the Anniversary of World Scouts , Panorama Sketch, Ribbon Map, Compass, Emergency First Aid Skills, Pioneering Skills, Wandering Activities, Wide Game and Camping. Activities for Raising Scouts must be in accordance with their spiritual and physical conditions and be able to improve their five areas of personal development that are packaged in an interesting, challenging and fun and varied way: Spiritual Development Area, Emotional Development Area, Social Development Area, Intellectual Development Area and Physical Development Area.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untu mengkaji pengaruh teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar seseorang khususnya dalam mata pelajaran Agama Hindu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan analisis data secara teoretis mengacu pada Teori Belajar Sosial. Data-data yang tersaji dalam tulisan ini merupakan hasil studi pustaka baik dari media cetak maupun media elektronik mengenai teori belajar sosial, serta hasil pengamatan langsung peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil kajian ditemukan bahwa kelompok teman sebaya dapat menjadi sebuah role model bagi personal kelompok yang kemudian terimbas atas pengaruh dominan yang diakui dalam kelompok. Dalam konteks belajar, keberadaan kelompok teman sebaya ini secara positif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, termasuk motivasi belajar Agama Hindu. Hal ini dikaitkan dengan proses pembelajaran yang dilalui pada pembelajaran sosial Bandura, yaitu fase perhatian (attentional phase), fase retensi (retentional phase), fase produksi (production phase), dan fase motivasi (motivational phase). Pada fase perhatian, personal kelompok akan melakukan pengamatan (observasi) serta penilaian atas personal yang lain, kemudian pada fase retensi personal akan mengingat kembali bagaimana pola perilaku dominan dalam kelompok teman sebaya. Selanjutnya akan muncul fase produksi sebagai bentuk perilaku yang muncul atas interaksi yang telah dilakukan, hingga muncul fase terakhir, yaitu fase motivasi. Pada fase terakhir inilah menjadi titik tolak dari sebuah interaksi, yang mana masing-masing personal saling memotivasi satu sama lain. Melalui hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai ide atau pandangan baru dalam menyikapi masalah motivasi belajar Agama Hindu dengan memperhatikan lingkungan pertemanannya.

Abstract

Teachers as a facilitator is who facilitates students' needs to reflect on learning based on Biblical truth. The fact that happened in one of the Christian schools in Tangerang, there are a problem while teacher facilitating students in online learning. Therefore, teachers need to implement appropriate solutions to improve them. This paper aims to examine whether teacher personal reflection can assist teachers in carrying out their role as facilitators, which aims to find out the importance of personal reflection to help teachers as facilitators carry out their role in online learning. The method of writing uses descriptive qualitative. Personal reflection is a response to our salvation which is part of progressive sanctification to become more like Christ. Biblical truth is the basis for teachers' belief in reflection. As a result, through the implementation of personal reflection, teachers can find out problems then find solutions to correct mistakes when facilitating students in online learning. The conclusion is that the application of teacher personal reflection helps teachers to carry out their role as facilitators in online learning. The next writer is advised to use feedback from students to be the source of reflection

Abstract

The world of education in the 21st century must produce a generation that is skilled in the application of technology and capable of critical thinking. Electronic Student Worksheets with indicators of critical thinking skills are present and have become an innovation of learning tools that were previously in print form to digital form. The goal of this research is to describe the practicality and effectiveness of the electronic LKPD expectations on the concept of Ecology. The Tessmer design is used in the research method, which includes: 1) expert review; 2) one-on-one evaluation; and 3) small group evaluation. The validation subjects were three experts; the individual test subjects were three class X high school students; and the small group test subjects were four class X high school students. The information gathered came from research instruments in the form of an assessment sheet for the practicality and effectiveness of expectations. Based on student responses, this research shows that the practical results of the electronic LKPD expectations are in a very good category, and the results of the effectiveness of expectations are in a very good category (covering interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation skills) based on the critical thinking skills assessment of students working on electronic LKPD.
