Abstract

Sastra anak merupakan bagian dari pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Dengan melihat sejarah sastra anak Indonesia kita bisa menelusuri perubahan cara pandang masyarakat terhadap anak dan masa kanak-kanak serta kebiasaan membaca anak dari masa ke masa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun sejarah buku anak yang pernah beredar di Indonesia sejak masa kolonial Belanda hingga saat ini di era digital. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pustaka yang dilengkapi dengan pengumpulan data lapangan melalui visual etnografi untuk mencatat buku-buku anak karya penulis Indonesia yang masih bisa ditemukan.

Abstract

Direct teaching of literature will aid in the development of students' understanding, which will include insight into human traditions and culture. Dongkrek is a Javanese traditional art form that may be utilized as a guide and role model for children in character development and social behavior through literature study for class VII junior high school students. Based on the foregoing, the purpose of this study is to define Javanese cultural values in the digital comic Dongkrek, as well as their significance to the literary learning of class VII middle school students. The research approach employed was a qualitative descriptive method. Mutual cooperation, rukun guyub, grapyak semanak (friendly), lembah manah (humble), ewuh pakewuh (respectful/mutual respect), pangerten (mutual respect), andhap ashor (virtuous), and tepo seliro (tolerance) were discovered as Javanese cultural values. We create a feeling of empathy rationally via ideals, which might foster a sense of tolerance amongst individuals. The eight noble principles of Javanese culture presented in Arief Bayu Harisma's digital comic Dongkrek are vital for pupils to grasp as a developed character identity as well as a benchmark for conduct and social management. This is also in accordance with the general learning achievements of class VII students in Phase D, and in accordance with the learning objectives in narrative text material, fantasy tales and folk tales (Activity 9 Comparing Characterizations in Folklore Comics) Class VII Indonesian Language Education.

Abstract

Pantun (rhymes) is an ancient poetry of Indonesia's intangible cultural heritage. This research aims to develop learning innovations related rhymes by PjBL model with a contextual approach and sociodrama methods. This research uses a qualitative approach and the Borg & Gall development method. Data collection techniques use diagnostic tests, observations and projects, while data analysis techniques use a flowing analysis model. Data verification was used using triangulation techniques. The research data source is junior high school students. Research Location in Malang. The results of data analysis show (1) the implementation of the PjBL learning model with a contextual approach, 98% of learners can make the cover and content of vocabulary used in daily conversations; (2) implementation of the PjBL learning model with a contextual approach and sociodrama method for learning related rhymes 100% complete. Students can change dialogue into related rhymes for role playing. The learning atmosphere is conducived and full of joy. Thus, it is concluded that the implementation of the development of the PjBL learning model with a contextual approach and sociodrama method creates an active, dynamic, fun and meaningful learning atmosphere. With these findings, it is recommended that secondary school teachers can use these findings for learning rhymes so that they are fun and meaningful for students, so that the nation's cultural heritage can be preserved and students' communication becomes more characterful and polite.

Abstract

Electronic mass media is a very efficient tool in disseminating information. Electronic mass media is widely used by the public because it is faster than other media. Films, which are a category of electronic mass media, are often a means of providing entertainment and are used to build certain discourses for society. It is not uncommon for genres in films to present local wisdom of certain regions. Local wisdom contains guidelines for determining actions and deeds that will be implemented every day. The film Turah is a film that presents the local wisdom of the coastal community of Kampung Tirang. Based on the explanation above, the aim of this research is to describe the value of local wisdom and the presentation of local wisdom values ​​in films. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The results of data analysis found that there are 5 values ​​of local wisdom in the film Turah, namely, wisdom in livelihood, wisdom in language, wisdom in social relationships, wisdom in relationships with God, and wisdom in real form. The value of local wisdom is presented verbally and also visually. By presenting local wisdom in a film, it will open people's awareness that these values ​​need to be preserved. Local wisdom needs to be maintained to maintain community identity and balance the environment and nature, because currently people lack awareness regarding the true essence of local wisdom.

Abstract

Associative meaning is the meaning possessed by a word that is interconnected with circumstances outside the language. This study aims to (1) describe the form of associative meaning in the vocabulary in the lyrics of the song album Riuh by Feby Putri and (2) describe the function of associative meaning in the vocabulary in the lyrics of the song album Riuh by Feby Putri. This research uses qualitative approach and text analysis research type. The research data is in the form of Feby Putri's Riuh album which was released on January 21, 2022 on the Spotify music player service platform. Data collection techniques used listening and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique goes through three stages, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that the song lyrics in the album Riuh by Feby Putri have vocabulary with associative meaning. The vocabulary in Feby Putri's song lyrics also has functions that can provide positive energy for the listener. These functions include moral values and outlook on life.
