Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Jigsaw learning model influences the understanding of the concept of classifying animals based on the type of food and student activities when the Jigsaw learning model is applied. This research was conducted at SDN Sukamaju class V. The type of research used by researchers was quantitative with the Quasi Experimental Design method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design, which involved 22 experimental class students and 22 control class students as samples. Collecting data in this study used a test in the form of Multiple Choice (PG) of 20 items. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) The Jigsaw learning model influences the understanding of the concept of classifying animals based on the type of food in class V students. The experimental class has an average value of 84.32. This can be proven by the results of the percentage value of 70.57%. This proves that applying the Jigsaw learning model can increase student activity in the learning process.

Abstract

COPD is a chronic disease characterized by airflow limitation in the respiratory tract. Symptoms that appear in COPD sufferers cause decreased sleep quality. This study aims to determine the factors that affect sleep quality in COPD patients. In the cross-sectional study design, the participants were 100 COPD sufferers without co-morbidities. Intake of non-probability sampling participants using purposive sampling method, the population of participants with COPD is domiciled in the working area of the Ciptomulyo Health Center in Malang. Data analysis used multiple logistic regression to determine the dominant factors in the sleep quality of COPD patients. The shortness of breath variable after being controlled by the smoking and coughing variable is a factor that greatly influences the sleep quality of COPD patients (OR=14).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of substituting mocaf flour for moringa leaf flour on the characteristics of wet noodles. The research method used a completely randomized design on a factorial pattern, namely the ratio of wheat flour to mocaf flour, consisting of 4 levels: (100:0), (90:10), (80:20), (70:30), and the addition of moringa leaf flour, which consists of three levels: (10%), (15%), and (20%). The results showed that the best substitution of mocaf flour and moringa leaf flour with a ratio of 70% wheat flour to 30% mocaf flour and leaf flour to 10% moringa yielded 71.467% moisture content and 13.249% protein content. Ash content of 1.359% does not meet SNI but is still accepted by consumers. swelling index 32.723%, color (L*) 39.580%, color (a*) -8.380%, and color (b*) 14.410%.

Abstract

The main obstacle to controlling tuberculosis is knowledge and behavior to prevent transmission among at-risk contacts. Health education is needed to increase public knowledge. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of health education using Booklet and WhatsApp media among tuberculosis sufferers. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a control group pre- and post-test approach, samples were taken from 41 tuberculosis patients who were currently being treated. Knowledge measurements were carried out before and after health education was carried out using Booklet and WhatsApp media. The analysis to test the effectiveness of the booklet and WhatsApp media used the Wilcoxon test. The Wilcoxon test results obtained a p-value of 0.046 (booklet) and a p-value of 0.014 (WhatsApp) lower than α = 0.05, meaning that both are effective in increasing knowledge, but Whatsapp media is more effective than booklet media.
