Abstract

Fraud atau kecurangan adalah suatu tindakan atau perbuatan yang dengan maksud disengaja menggunakan sumber daya organisasi/perusahaan secara tidak wajar untuk memeroleh keuntungan pribadi sehingga merugikan pihak organisasi/perusahaan yang bersangkutan atau pihak lain. Dalam industri Perbankan. Fraud dapat di artikan sebagai tidandakan sengaja melanggar ketentuan internal meliputi (1) Kebijakan, (2) Sistem dan (3) Prosedur yang berpotensi merugikan bank baik material maupun moril. Bank Indonesia (BI) berupaya melakukan pencegahan fraud dengan mensyaratkan perbankan melakukan penerapan pelaksanaan tata kelola perusahaan yang baik (Good Corporate Governance/GCG). GCG menjadi acuan di dalam beberapa kebijakan BI seperti pembatasan kepemilikan saham pengendali, transparansi informasi suku bunga dasar kredit, dan lain-lain. Berbagai peraturan yang bersifat eksternal seperti Peraturan Bank Indonesia (PBI) maupun peraturan internal bank dan standard operation procedures (SOP) telah diterbitkan untuk mencegah terjadinya fraud perbankan. Melalui media massa masyarakat telah membaca atau mendengarkan berbagai kasus fraud perbankan terus terjadi. Bahkan para pelakunya telah dijatuhkan hukuman yang sesuai dengan hukum yang berlaku. Namun kasus fraud perbankan terus terjadi seolah sanksi yang peraturan yang ada, bahkan sanksi yang telah dijatuhkan terhadap para pelaku tidak menimbulkan efek jera bagi profesional perbankan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan deiksis dalam novel Habibie dan Ainun karya B.J. Habibie. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang menjadi sampel bersumber dari novel Habibie dan Ainun karya B.J. Habibie, yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik catat. Sampel tersebut dipilih secara purposif atau sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa deiksis yang digunakan dalam novel Habibie dan Ainun karya B.J. Habibie adalah (1) deiksis persona yang meliputi (a) persona pertama, yaitu persona pertama tunggal saya dan aku; persona pertama jamak kami dan kita; (b) persona kedua, yaitu persona kedua tunggal engkau, kamu, -mu, dan anda; persona kedua jamak yaitu anda sekalian; (c) persona ketiga, yaitu persona ketiga tunggal yaitu ia, dia, -nya, dan beliau; persona ketiga jamak yaitu mereka; (2) Deiksis temporal yang meliputi: pada waktu itu, pada saat itu, waktu itu, dan saat itu; (3) Deiksis ruang/tempat yang meliputi: di sana dan di sini.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine (1) description of the application of the method Jarimatika in early childhood learning in kindergarten Asoka Makassar, (2) difficulty and ease gained in applying the method in kindergarten Asoka Jarimatika Makassar. Type of research is action research is descriptive qualitative. In this case the researcher wants to describe things related to the application of methods in kindergarten Asoka Jarimatika Makassar. Data collection method is a method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Step-by-step analysis of the data, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that (1) the application Jarimatika (Mathfingers) method in kindergarten Asoka Makassar through three stages Enaktif stage, stage Iconic and Symbolic Stage. For stage Enaktif some things that teachers do to introduce numbers and counting as starters by using concrete objects and events or real events that were around the child. The usual methods of learning are combined storytelling, demonstration (performance) and experiment. For Iconic Stage teacher displays knowledge learned through the images and symbolic stage where teachers began incorporating the image is meant by the symbol. (2) Constraints faced by teachers in implementing this method is twofold Jarimatika a) sourced from teachers include: Limitations of teachers in relation to media images presented symbol jarimatika b) the use of plain language for students c) limited insight in answering each question and the needs of learners, and students who come from: a) inferior and do not have the confidence b) the nature of egocentric children so often scrambling to his attention and objects c) children akt and difficult to focus for a long time. Ease obtained teacher also includes 2 (two) things: a) that comes from the teacher that the teacher is no longer overwhelmed in providing instructional media b) this method gives pleasure and enthusiasm in children the teacher is no longer difficult to condition children to be ready to learn.

Abstract

Developing teaching material is the process of selecting, adapting and evaluating of teaching based on specific terms of reference. Need Analysis is very important before designing teaching materials for English for Specific Purpose. The study aims at exploring the learning needs of 60 nursing students and 5 lecturers at STIKES Toraja, and 14 nurses who some of them work in a hospital for English speaking community such as INCO/VALE HOSPITAL Sorowako and ELIM RANTEPAO HOSPITAL Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi Indonesia. and developing ESP materials for nurses based on Need Analysis. Need Analysis in this study is categorized as Target situation Analysis, Present Situation Analysis, Deficiency Analysis, Strategy Analysis, Constraint Analysis, Pedagogic Need Analysis, and Subjective Need Analysis. The study uses quantitative and qualitative methods. The findings describe the real needs of students of ESP for nurses, the lecturers’ view points on the practice of ESP instructions, and descriptions of ESP for nurses used in English speaking countries or English speaking community. The results are very significant for designers developers of ESP of various fields for they reflect the real needs of nursing students. It is suggested that Nursing English textbooks should be based on the Need Analysis by ESP designers and developers.

Abstract

Teacher needs to think how to engage students to have participation in learning English. This article consists of brief about activities facilitating EFL students to participate in learning English. It is to identify and explain the activities: group work, song, chant, poem, finger plays, story telling on tablet PCs, using drama, project work, games and other activities outside of the classroom. These activities can be used by the teacher to help the students to engaged and encourage the students to study more about English.

Abstract

Metacognitive Learning Strategies used by The Sixth Semester Student of English Education Department of Universitas Cendrawasih Jayapura in Learning Speaking Skill. The objective of this research was to find out the metacognitive learning strategies commonly used by the fifth semester students in developing their speaking ability and whether the good students and weak students used the same metacognitive learning strategies in developing their speaking ability. The method used was descriptive, using percentage technique. The samples consisted of 35 fifth semester students of English Education Department of UNCEN Jayapura in 2014/2015 academic year. The data collected through questionnaires. The research concluded that good students approximately always used the all metacognitive learning strategies. The most commonly strategy used by good students is selective attention and the most rarely used is delayed production. The percentages of other strategies were nearly the same. The most commonly strategy used by weak students is delayed production the most rarely used is advance organizer. The percentages of other strategies were nearly the same.

Abstract

This research intended to find out the comprehensive description about learning strategies applied by the part time job University student at Christian University of Indonesia Toraja, The method used in this research was grounded theory. The instruments were interview, direct observation, and documentation. The participant of the research was the part time job student academic year 2014/2015 at English Department of Christian university of Indonesia Toraja. The result of the research showed that the learning strategies performed by this student were direct and indirect strategy. Direct strategy included memory, cognitive, compensation strategies while indirect strategy covered affective and social strategy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat gaji tenaga pendidik dan tahapan-tahapan jabatan dalam kinerja karier tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus di SMA Islam Athirah Kajaolaliddo Makassar. Instrumen utama adalah peneliti sendiri. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode wawancara, observasi peranserta, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya dianalisis dengan tiga alur kegiatan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat gaji tenaga pendidik di SMA Islam Athirah Kajaolaliddo Makassar, yaitu: permintaan dan penawaran tenaga pendidik, kemampuan sekolah membayar gaji, dan kinerja tenaga pendidik. Adapun tahapan-tahapan jabatan dalam kinerja karier tenaga pendidik di SMA Islam Athirah Kajaolaliddo, meliputi: (1) pembina OSIS, pembina agama, bimbingan konseling, wali kelas, dan guru bidang studi; (2) wakasek kurikulum dan SDM, wakaksek kesiswaan dan keagamaan, dan wakasek sarana dan IT; (3) kepala sekolah; dan (4) Direktur SIA.

Abstract

Difficulty learning math can be experienced by students of any ability level or among any group. Mathematics learning difficulties also happens to high school students in the city of Rantepao. With the students 'mathematics learning difficulties, the question arises why this could happen and as educators how teachers' perceptions about mathematics learning difficulties. The teacher is seen as the party that can provide information based on their knowledge and experience in understanding the conditions that may be the cause of timbunya difficulties experienced by students in learning mathematics. Students themselves as parties who have difficulty learning mathematics, is expected to provide information on matters which cause learning difficulties they are experiencing. Therefore the arises the question of how mathematics teachers 'perceptions of the difficulty of learning mathematics class X SMA Negeri City Rantepao?, How difficulty learning mathematics class X SMA Negeri City Rantepao?, And how the level of teachers' perceptions of the difficulty of Conformity math class X SMA Negeri The City of Rantepao?. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of teachers' perceptions of the suitability of mathematics learning difficulties of students on the material in high school trigonometry City State Rantepao. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach-explanative with non-test data collection techniques through an open questionnaire and interviuw, and testing through diagnostic tests. The results showed that: the level of teachers' perceptions of the suitability of mathematics learning difficulties of students in trigonometry material said to be less appropriate. Teachers dominant cause of psychological states and cause epistimolgis, while psychological causes students, epistemological and pedagogical mathematics is the cause of learning difficulties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Heads Together) dengan alat peraga manik-manik dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa SD, khususnya materi matematika kelas IV. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika pada kelompok yang menggunakan metode kooperatif tipe NHT dengan alat peraga manik-manik lebih tinggi daripada kelompok yang menggunakan metode non-NHT. Subjek penelitian adalah subjek kelas IV B (39 siswa). Alat untuk mengukur prestasi belajar adalah tes prestasi. Tes tersebut berisi tentang materi matematika topik bilangan bulat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Mann Whitney U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima, peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika kelompok NHT dengan alat peraga manik-manik lebih tinggi daripada kelompok non-NHT dengan nilai U = 3.000, dengan p < 0.05.
