Abstract

Lapis Pondasi Aspal (Aphalt base) adalah bagian dari lapis perkerasan aspal, yang berada dibawah lapisan aus (wearing course) dan lapis antara ( binder course. Dalam hal ini jenis campuran Aspal Base yang d iteliti yaitu HRS-base yang dicampur dengan getah karet (lateks). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat keelastisan dan kekakuan aspal setelah dicampur getah karet. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan kadar aspal 6% dan kadar Lateks 0%, 0.5%, 0.75%, 1%, 1.5%, dan 2%. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Sabaritha Perkasa Abadi (SPA) Jalan Tambusan Merek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan langkah yaitu Persiapan Benda Uji, Gradasi Agregat, dan Melakukan Marshall Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan penambahan getah karet optimum yang dapat digunakan dalam campuran adalah variasi getah karet 0.5%, 0.75%,1% dan 1.5% karena memiliki nilai stabilitas tinggi dan nilai rongga dalam campuran (VIM) rendah, tapi variasi getah karet yang paling baik digunakan yaitu variasi getah karet 1.5% karena variasi tersebut memiliki nilai stabilitas paling tinggi dan nilai rongga dalam campuran paling rendah , nilai stabilitas tinggi mengindikasikan tingkat kekuatan Lataston HRS-BASE terhadap kemampuan menahan beban.Sedangkan nilai rongga dalam campuran rendah mengindikasikan ketahanan aspal terhadap genangan air. Pencampuran Aspal dengan Lateks dapat dijadikan solusi untuk jalan raya yang menerima beban berat dari kendaraan dan juga mampu mengindikasikan ketahanan aspal terhadap genangan air dikarenakan curah hujan di Indonesia tinggi.

Abstract

Terminal Penumpang Bandar  Deli Belawan yang terletak di  jalan Stasiun Belawan. Terminal Penumpang  Bandar Deli Belawan merupakan pintu masuk area Sumatera dan sekaligus menjadi terminal terbesar ketiga di Indonesia setelah Jakarta dan Surabaya. Pelabuhan Belawan adalah Pelabuhan yang terletak di kota Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia dan merupakan Pelabuhan terpenting di pulau Sumatera Utara. Pelabuhan Belawan merupakan sebuah pelabuhan dengan tingkat kelas utama yang bernaung di bawah PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Pelindo 1).  Pelabuhan Belawan adalah salah satu Pelabuhan di Indonesia yang memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam kegiatan arus barang baik itu impor maupun ekspor di wilayah pantai timur Indonesia yang berada di arus lalu lintas selat malaka yang sangat aktif dalam perdagangan internasional. Pelabuhan Belawan berada di dalam wilayah Kota Madya Medan yang teletak lebih kurang 27 KM dari pusat kota. Informasi dari penumpang pengguna jasa terminal penumpang bandar deli belawan diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disusun sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hal ini bertujuan agar hasil atau data yang diperoleh relevan dan sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian.Persepsi pengguna jasa Terminal Penumpang Bandar Deli Belawan berdasarkan nilai indeks kepuasan rata-rata terhadap 8 (delapan) faktor pelayanan Terminal Penumpang Bandar Deli Belawan dengan interpretasi nilai Customer Satification Index, menunjukkan pelayanan yang diberikan oleh pengelola Terminal Penumpang Bandar Deli Belawan cukup baik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai indeks kepuasan rata-rata pengguna jasa di Terminal Penumpang  Bandar Deli Belawan terhadap 8 (delapan) faktor pelayanan sebesar 68,26  persen masuk kriteria cukup puas. Faktor fasilitas pendukung di ruang tunggu pelabuhan dan faktor informasi jadwal kapal termasuk salah satu yang cukup mendapatkan nilai baik. Namun pengguna jasa pelabuhan merasa kurang puas terhadap Faktor Ketersedian fasilitas parkir kendaraan masih butuh untuk dibenahi, faktor keamanan di lokasi terminal perlu dibenahi kembali. Sedangkan untuk Fasilitas Penunjuk Arah atau penunjuk jalan menuju lokasi terminal penumpang Bandar Deli Belawan masuk kriteria kurang puas dan menjadi prioritas utama untuk ditingkatkan kinerjanya

Abstract

Contractors in the construction sector have reduced the cause of their profit, namely the large costs incurred for purchasing construction materials. In utilizing material from construction that is not only for reducing costs incurred, it is more in profit in the project being implemented. The effort used to reduce waste is to use Lean construction (lean construction). The purpose of this study was to analyze the amount of waste generated from the implementation stage of the Sidilanitano irrigation network construction project in North Tapanuli Regency. So that the impact on mitigation is carried out in order to maximize the profit value of the contractor. This research method is a descriptive method and analysis is carried out directly at the project site. Data collection was carried out by field observations, interviews. The results showed that the material that caused waste cost was Pek. Reinforcement, Pek. Formwork and Dismantling Formwork and Pek. Cast Concrete K. 225. The level of application of lean construction in the Sidilanitano irrigation project in North Tapanuli Regency is not yet fully effective. However, the rest of the project material has been optimally carried out by the contractor to a minimum. Where the remaining 50 cm of iron material is stored while smaller sizes are sold. The rest of the concrete material is used to cover the stagnant roads around the project.

Abstract

Axial bearing capacity of piles can be obtained by using the data from the data Sondir or data from Standard Penetration Test (SPT). Calculation using the Direct Method for data Sondir and Meyerhof method and  method to data from Standard Penetration Test (SPT), a lot is done to determine the axial bearing capacity of piles. Selection of axial bearing capacity of piles used results of these calculations into a separate art for planners to determine the dimensions of the foundation are used

Abstract

Personal protective equipment is part of the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases. Seeing that the benefits of PPE are very important for workers, it is necessary to review the behavior of workers using PPE in industry. The purpose of this study is to look at the factors that influence workers in using PPE, which later results from the analysis can be used as a basis and reference for academics and practitioners in the application of occupational health and safety culture in industry, especially in the use of PPE. The research method used is Literature Review, data collection is carried out by internet searches through Google Scholar, Researchgate, and ProQuest with the keywords Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, Industry, PPE, and industrial. The articles used are articles in the 2016-2020 timeframe. The initial search results for articles found 1,432 but after screening based on predetermined inclusion criteria, 15 articles were selected consisting of 13 Indonesian articles and 2 international articles. The conclusion obtained in this study is that there are several factors that influence the behavior of workers in using PPE, namely predisposing factors between other attitudes, knowledge, and comfort in using PPE. Driving factors include training, supervision, and policies or regulations. Supporting factors include social support and the completeness of the PPE used.

Abstract

In the implementation of construction, the weakening of structure occurs very frequently. This condition is shown through the crack on the plate floor, on the beam or on the column. This structure weakening is frequently caused by wrong design, the change of the function of the building, or natural factor. To maintain the structure of building, reinforcing is very frequently done on the area of experiencing the weakening process.The result of the experiment value was compared through numerical method to obtain the pattern of crack or the increase of load value that can be carried by the beam after being reinforced. That with this simulation, the writer expects that the reinforcement done to the beam especially the one with fricative crack can be accurately and well implemented.

Abstract

Foundation work is an initial job that is usually done by all engineers in the construction of structures. Beginning with a soil investigation survey, then identification of the type and strength of the soil is carried out to determine the type of foundation that is suitable for the structure. In planning the foundation in building construction, it is necessary to investigate the soil parameters used in the calculation of the bearing capacity of the soil. The bearing capacity of the soil is very influential on the type and dimensions of the foundation, especially regarding the load carried by the foundation to be planned. A foundation is part of an engineering system that transmits the load supported by the foundation and its own weight to and into the soil and rock that lies beneath it. The resulting soil stresses except at the soil surface are in addition to the loads already present in the soil mass from its own weight. The borepile foundation made was 181 piles and the tested piles were 3 piles or 3/181 = 1.7%. The weight of the hammer used should be = ultimate bearing capacity *1% = 244.45 x 1% = 2.5 tons. While the weight of the hammer used in the field is 2.5 tons, meaning that it is sufficient. Hammer fall height = 1 – 1.2 m, so the hammer impact energy efficiency is 3.3-18%. For hammer impact energy efficiency for B-3 piles of 3.3% is considered inadequate.

Abstract

Designing on the Waste Water Treatment Plant, often overlooked by variations in water pressure at the time of empty water reservoirs suddenly, so the designing often assumes that the water load is a static load.The case reviewed on the WWTP wall structure is evident that water also has unique behavior especially in large structures. Careful planning certainly will not lead to anything like the case occurring in this research review.The repair or reinforcement analyzed through the Hydro Test testing behavior concludes that without dismantling the entire building, it can still revert to the planned needs of the WWTP building structure.The analysis performed using the finite element method tool to speed up the calculation states that by increasing the number of existing reinforcement can improve the ability of WWTP structure.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of organic and inorganic fertilizer application on the growth and production of the Batu ijo variety shallots. This research was conducted on the land of UPT Seed Parent Horticulture Kutagadung Berastagi, Berastagi District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, from June-August 2019. The study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) method which consisted of two treatment factors, the first was the dose of Source Organic fertilizer. Sustainable Nature“O” 4 levels: (O0) control, (O1) 270 grams/plot, (O2) 540 grams/plot and (O3) 810 grams/plot. Second, the dose of NPK Mutiara fertilizer with the symbol M consisting of 4 levels: (M0) control, (M1) 44 grams/plot, (M2) 87 grams/plot and (M3) 130 grams/plot, in order to obtain 16 treatment combinations and 2 blocks. The data from the observations were then analyzed for variance with the F test at 5% level and the DMRT test. The results showed that the treatment with Sumber Lestari Alam organic fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height/sample (cm), number of leaves/sample (cloves), number of tillers/sample (stem), number of tubers/sample (cloves), tuber diameter/sample. (mm), and crop production/sample (grams). The treatment of NPK Mutiara fertilizer had no significant effect on the parameters of plant height/sample (cm), number of leaves/sample (cloves), number of tillers/sample (stems), number of tubers/sample (cloves), diameter of tubers/sample (mm), and crop production/sample (grams).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the implementation of online learning at Berastagi Quality University, to identify problems that arise during the implementation of online learning, to describe solutions and recommendations for problems related to the implementation of online learning, where and when to implement activities. This research is a descriptive research by conducting a survey using google form. The population used were students of Quality Berastagi University while the sample was selected using purposive sampling technique with the sample being students of Quality Berastagi University. The number of student samples is 212 people. The instrument used is a Likert scale. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing online questionnaires to Quality Berastagi University students with the aim of obtaining relevant and valid information. The research procedure taken was compiling statements for the questionnaire, validating and reliable questionnaires, collecting data by distributing validated questionnaires online to lecturers and students and conducting descriptive analysis. The results of the online learning monitoring and evaluation for the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year at the University of Quality Berastagi is that in online learning planning 47.6% of students gave good results, 26.9% was quite good and 18.4% was very good. The results of online learning for the total performance results are 44.725% in the Good category, 17.5% very good, 26.5% quite good. The results of online learning interactions with total performance results are 47.66% good category, 21.54% very good and 23.3% quite good. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of online learning that have been carried out can be well received by students 50.5% good, 17% very good and 23.3% quite good.
