Journal Research Physical Education and Sports (RESPECS) is a peer-reviewed journal (printed and online) published by the Physical Education Departement, Universitas Majalengka, which was founded in 2019 and is published regularly online. It publishes articles on various aspects of physical education including learning in schools which includes the learning process, assessment of learning, use of instructional media, and development of Physical Education learning in schools. Also includes physical activity, sports and health, as well as the development of sports achievements in schools and communities. Articles published in journals are written in Indonesian. Papers received will appear online immediately and are followed by printing in print. E-journals provide free and open access to all of its content on our website. Abstract

Physical fitness is the ability of a person's body to carry out daily activities without causing significant fatigue. Aims to prove the effect of weight training on improving physical fitness. This research provides treatment in the form of weight training 14 stations to increase physical fitness. The sample consisted of 8 sports coaching education students who have been actively exercising. The pre-expremental design provides weight training treatment with the circuit method of 14 three sets of tools for 12 meetings with a break time between sets of 5-8 minutes. 100% training intensity or maximum load. The data were analyzed using the SPSS application using the paired sample formula. The results showed that the subjects experienced an increase. In conclusion, weight training with high intensity doses of 100% of maximum ability can improve physical fitness.

Abstract

The aim of this research is the development of warm-up with traditional games for students before doing sports activities. The method used is Research and Development (RnD) with procedures for potential problem analysis, product design, expert validation, design revision, and testing. The subjects in the study were 10 students of Sports Coaching Education, from 7 sons and 3 daughters with an average age of 20 years. The instrument uses a pulse measuring test and a questionnaire. The analysis technique uses descriptive statistical calculations. The results of the judge's assessment for the first game were 98%, the second game was 98% and the third game was 98%, which means that the assessment of the design was categorized as "Very Worthy" to be tested. The results of this research in the student trials for game 1, game 2, and game 3 received a 64% rating to increase the pulse rate in the training zone from 60% to 75%. It can be said that 100% of game 1, game 2, and game 3 increase the pulse rate.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The aim of this research is to develop warm-up games for junior high school students. The method used in this research is Reaserch and Development (RnD), with the development stage of problem analysis, heating design, heating testing, design revision, retrying, and final product. The instrument in this study used a pulse measurement test and a questionnaire. The data analysis used the eligibility formula for judges assessment, ANOVA analysis calculation, T Test and DN max calculation, namely 220 - age for student and student data. Subjects in the study, students as a small-scale trial amounted to 10 out of 9 boys and 1 girl with an average age of 20 years, the two junior high school students as a large-scale trial totaling 31 of 14 boys and 17 girls. From the three judges, the three games are 98% eligibility, which means that the assessment of the heating design is “Very Worthy” to try out. The results of the development of Game game modifications have three levels, namely the easy level of fun games, moderate levels of small games and difficult levels of big games and each level has a different intensity. The results of the first trial study students scored 60% to 75% in increasing their pulse rate to enter the Training Zone. The second trial of students scored a 60% to 75% increase in pulse rate to enter the Training Zone. That way, warming up with games can be used as an alternative to warming up before doing sports activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to further improve long jump learning in an effort to improve learning outcomes, especially optimal jump results. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research method which was conducted at SMPN 5 Cirebon City in the 2012/2013 academic year for class VIII.2 students with a total of 25 students (Two RSBI classes). The results of the long jump learning research with rope jumping exercises showed an increase in learning outcomes as evidenced by an increase in the average value of the long jump technique from 57.24 to 84.20 or an increase of 47.1%, learning completeness reached 100% and the results of the jump distance from the average increased 51.96% from the average distance of 257.6 cm. to 391.3 cm. In terms of attitude, students are motivated to accept the concept of strength training by skipping because they feel happy and excited which is indicated by the activeness of students at each stage of learning. Thus, the higher the frequency and intensity of repetition, the higher the results of technical ability and jump results obtained.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study based on students whose be a part of pencak silat extracurricular that during the front kick technique uncorrectly. due to question of consider, is there an effect of kick training on a chair on front kick skills in pencak silat extracurricular at SMK Bina Insan Mandiri?And the purpose of the study was to determine the effect of kick training on a chair on front kick skills in pencak silat extracurricular at SMK Bina Insan Mandiri. The research method used was experimental with Pre-Experimental Design in the form of one group pretest posttest. The population and sample are students who take extracurricular pencak silat at SMK Bina Insani, totaling 16 people taken by total sampling. this test of study used was a kick skill test that was adapted from Lubis and Wardoyo. Data analyse of using paired sample t test Based on process this data show us there was an increase of 4.125, with a standard deviation of 0.719. Sig value (2-tailed) obtained a value of 0.000. that can be conclude, the sig value is smaller than the alpha value (0.000 < 0.05). So it can be concluded that there is an effect of kick training on a chair on front kick skills in extracurricular pencak silat at SMK Bina Insan Mandiri. The researcher recommends the up-chair kick basic exercise as an alternative to train and improve the front kick technique. Keywords: The Front kick, chair as obstacle, and effective efficient

Abstract

This study differs from the teaching method in that teaching behavior influences changes in students' motivation and response to competence in physical education. This experimental research was conducted at SMKN 1 Palasah with class XI majoring in travel business consisting of 6 men and 27 women were selected as samples with cluster random sampling technique, a motivational instrument that describes intrinsic and extrinsic motivation used in the data collection process. The results of the study illustrate that the station learning center has an effect on increasing students' intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. So that in order to motivate students in learning physical education as an alternative, they can use a station learning center.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) memberikan dampak positif pada peningkatan teknik dasar passing bolabasket. Penelitian eksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest design. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rubrik penilaian passing. Perlakuan diberikan sebanyak 12 kali berikut pre-test dan post test. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 orang siswa laki-laki. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sample test dengan bantuan sistem perangkat lunak statistik yaitu program SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi 0,133 > 0,05. Sedangkan uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji paired sample test 0,000 < 0,05, artinya model VAK memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan teknik dasar passing permainan bolabasket. Keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah belum dapat menggambarkan pada sampel dengan skala besar, model VAK juga berlaku pada siswa yang memiliki tingkat intelegensi tinggi dan belum tentu berlaku pada siswa dengan intelegensi rendah. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah dengan menguji efektivitas dari model VAK dalam jumlah sampel yang besar dan tingkat intelegensi yang kurang bahkan rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh latihan Split squat jump terhadap keterampilan kuda-kuda Zenkutsudachi atlet putra FORKI Kerinci. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian Eksperimen dengan populsi atlet putra FORKI kerinci yang berjumlah 10 orang. Dalam menganalisis data menggunakan uji-t yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas dengan uji liliefors dan uji homogenitas varians dengan adanya tes awal yaitu tes yang dilakukan sebelum melakukan latihan split squad jump dan tes akhir yaitu tes setelah melakukan latihan split squad jump. Dari perhitungan Uji-t kaki kanan yaitu thitung = 10 > Ttabel 1,833 dan hasil Uji-t kaki kiri Thitung 9,56 > Ttabel 1,833. Dari analisis yang dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan split squad jump terhadap keterampilan kuda-kuda Zenkutsudachi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the practice of duoble leg cone hops and lunges on the level of long pass ability of SSB Internal FC soccer players, Ngawi. This study uses an experimental method with a "three groups pre-test-post-test design" design. The population in this study were football players from SSB Internal FC, Ngawi, which amounted to 30 people. Data analysis used t-test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that (1) There was a significant effect of double leg cone hop exercise on the level of long pass strength of SSB Internal FC soccer players, Ngawi, with t count -14.230 > t table 2.447, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, and a percentage increase of 8.69%. (2) There is a significant effect of lunges training on the level of long pass strength of SSB Internal FC soccer players, Ngawi, with t count -5,161 > t table 2.447, and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, and a percentage increase of 5.94 %. (3) The duoble leg cone hop exercise was better than the lunges exercise on the strength level of the SSB Internal fc soccer player, Ngawi, with t count 2.753 > t table = 2.365 and sig, 0.022 < 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to find out students' learning motivation and student involvement in online learning of physical education to the Junior Highschool students at SMPN 1 Arjawinangun. This research is a survey study using a quantitative descriptive approach. The instruments in this study used anket, while the sampling technique was simple random sampling. With a sample number of 92 students. Analysis of the data used in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages. The results of this study show the motivation of learning students in online learning of physical education in SMPN 1 Arjawinangun. In detail it shows the motivation for learning students in the high category with an average of 92 respondents of 94.43 (78.70%). Motivation to study students in online learning physical education which is very high thanks to 31 students (34%), high in number 60 students (65%), low in 1 student (1%) and very low in number of 0 students (0%). Whereas the results of research on student involvement in online learning of physical education in the high category, with an average of 92 respondents of 59.97 or (74.96%). Student involvement in online learning physical education which is very highly categorized by 15 students (16%), high in 75 students (82%), low in 2 students (2%) and very low in 0 students (0%).
